We put a hold on a duvet cover earlier today, the last they had in the King size. Came back and found they sold it to someone regardless. Getting someone to help us was a struggle to begin with, and now were seriously disappointed. This place obviously puts sales over any semblance of customer service. Weve been pleased with online orders from the company before, but we absolutely wont bother coming to this store again.
Shouldnt have gone on a Saturday. Too many people for a pandemic.
I just called a local Pottery Barn store to see if they had a rug I wanted to buy for a Christmas gift. The man who answered was super helpful, but the store didnt carry it. He looked it up and found it at a California store. He called them, and the 3 of them called me back within 10 minutes. Donna from the California store located it and quickly gave me shipping options. She offered to text me a picture of it with her personal phone so I would have that for Christmas, since I didnt choose to overnight. She then offered free gift wrapping! Wow! Just wow!!! I was just talking to a friend this morning about so so customer service. Pottery Barn does NOT fit into that category! They set the bar very high!!!
During the Christmas rush for presents I found the sales assistant to be helpful, knowledgeable and patient as she helped me with my needs in the picture frame department. She had another assistant help her by getting a duplicate of the frame I wanted from the back all the while looking up various numbers on the computer. I was able to leave with everything I wanted and my sanity intact.
Im disappointed by this stores continued level of customer service (or lack thereof). None of their associates seem to want to genuinely help a customer. Ive tried twice to ask about certain products and both times they said they didn’t know. Nor did they offer to secure the information for me. Ive had much better experiences at Crate & Barrel.
I walked through this store while waiting for my boyfriend and was pleasantly surprised by the funky furniture I saw. I also thought of Pottery Barn as a boring furniture store my grand mother or somebody elses grand mother would shop. The Sales Associates were helpful but not anything spectacular. Overall, good place to shop.
Today I visited this store for the third time. Each time I have been in this store has been on a weekday when the store was not busy. I wanted to purchase several items and was passed by several employees without a glance as I shopped the entire store twice. I have purchased MANY items from Pottery Barn in the past but will certainly think twice before purchasing again.
I work here and find it a enjoyable place to work. Very nice home furnishings and furniture too.
The customer service at PB Corte Madera is excellent. Generally Im just relieved if I get through a shopping experience without a rude or indifferent person. But at PB the sales folks are competent, helpful and down-right cheery. Even when I returned items they were sure- no problem, fast and efficient. Id say PB knocks Norstroms out of first place for customer service.
Not always my cup of tea but I definitely recommend for a nice rustic home look.
Very helpful sales people.
Bad customer service. Missing hardware pieces and instruction and cracked furniture. Once you pay, they wont get back to you. I am surprised that this place doesnt provide quality customer service as Pottery Barn does.
Newly renovated, it looks awesome!
Loved the new look
