Upscale shopping, friendly and helpful staff, and an excellent meat department. Dont forget to ask them whats the current best deal. Ive never had a bad result from their tips.

Love this store. They make breakfast in the morning, their sandwiches are so tasty, and they have ice cream. . . And groceries, of course! Friendliest staff, everyone greets you and very kind.

The employees at this market are a cut above the other neighborhood grocery store. Even though its a smaller chain, I go here for premium products and gracious helpers.

Outstanding service! Never a wait at checkout, while at Safeway you can count on close to a 1/2 hour wait. Most friendly staff, easily available always with a smile and offer to help. Produce, meats, deli, bakery always fresh, to quality and most pleasing to the eye and palate. Always neat and clean. Both standard and unusual items. Prices in line with Whole Foods and Safeway.

Dear Nugget Customer Service:I was at your Corte Madera store about 30 mins ago and I bought a few items including Orowheat Organic Bread which was discounted on the bread isle. It was marked down to $5.49 I think. I am sure you can pull up my receipt with my credit cards number.I got home and noticed that the bread had patches of fungus on it. I called the store and asked for a refund but was told that I had to drive all the way back, burn a gallon of gas and return the bread to the store before I could get my refund.How can you expect someone to come back to your store and burn 1 gallon of fuel to return a $5.49 loaf of bread? It’s ridiculous.At least remove the fungus ridden breads from your bread isle. Check the Orowheat brands which have been discounted. Open them and see the pungent smell and understand the service level that you are providing to the customer.Date 09/09/2021 Time shopped 245pm

Great atmosphere and the little coffee shop inside has delicious vanilla chai! The staff were amazing and one woman in particular made the shopping experience unforgettable.

Oh I love this place I used to go there a lot when I Worlds Gym was next door to him but they got a hot bar and I was in there and they had this chicken fajita that was pretty good but the rice you got to take it out of the light it was kind of Christy but it was still good

Nugget Market doesnt even carry half and half in its dairy section. Skim, 2%, regular milk, chocolate milk, almond milk, soy milk, but no cream for coffee??? Prepackaged salads are way overpriced considering they put hardly any ingredients in them. Nugget Market seems generally expensive, but lacking in quality. Fire roasted salsa I purchased was very bland, really lacking in flavor. Not a fan of Nugget Market

Great neighborhood grocer. The general manager is very helpful and always has a smile. Sandwiches are really good and great to pack away for a day trip to Mt. Tam or one of the hiking trails in the area.

Oh wow does this store get any better, just went for lunch and Jonathan in the deli made me an excellent sandwich, its called the Durango! The sandwiches are top notch and high quality, I was just shopping and Adrian, I think that was his name, brought me directly to what I was looking for, completely dropped what he was doing. I got some amazing Tomahawk steaks from Randy the manager, he was so helpful and kind. I was checking out and Julia was quick to ring me up and bag my things before I could even try myself. I would never go to another market as long as Nugget is here! A visit I look forward too every time

Great deli sandwiches, a little pricey but quality food.

This is the best market in town, been coming here for years since it was paradise foods. It has come a long way since Nugget has bought it, every employee seems happy about their job, they treat customers right. I went in to buy ice cream and get a sandwich, the deli employees were so good to me, adrian was very polite and professional, I went up front to pay and Jay at the register was very well mannered and knew so much and recommended that I get some brownies with my ice cream, who was I to turn that down. So knowledgeable about the store. Its the reason I will always come back

I love this store so much. The staff is truly the best service in Marin. Jay at the register is so kind and always asks how I am! Best quality sandwiches and you cant beat the ice cream, great for the price. If you really want a great experience as shopping then go to this store.

This store is desperately in need of a capacity limit. It is not safe to have that many people inside a small grocery store. Especially with people coming in to get sandwiches for lunch. 10 people waiting to order sandwiches is literally a small gathering of people. Exactly what we are trying to avoid.

I am new to the google reviews but I had to post my first one because of this market, a small but very enthusiastic atmosphere with employees that know their stuff! I came in to prepare for the upcoming holiday, everyone seemed so happy and helpful, I was able to get a perfect turkey from the meat clerk Jason who was well trained, and got all the right fixings. The cashiers are so welcoming, I met Alison and Jay with smiles waiting for me at the door, Luis bagged my groceries with care and I left with a shopping experience I will remember, Thank you Nugget Markets! I will forever return.

This .market is like mollie stones..expensive, they are usually located where middle and upper class lives..not a big store but when they have their sales i go there and their Sectet Soecial is sometimes great..with a limit of course..parking is good ..their secret soecial is only for 2 days fridays and Saturdays ..no rainchecks are given usually...

Staff are friendly and helpful. My grandson was upset about a small cut and staff gave him a bandaid. Food is fresh and delicious. I live in New York and visit Nugget every time I visit! Thanks

Nugget Markets is a great place to do a quick shopping trip. The prices are a little high though so I usually don’t do big trips there. The staff are always happy and enjoyable to be around!

Just went into Nugget for the first time and I was blown away! Beautiful, fresh foods, good prices, great prepared food section, very clean and neat store. I also loved that they had a great assortment of specialty products, like supplements and all sorts of Power Crunch protein bar flavors (mint chocolate is amazing). The only thing I noticed somewhat lacking was floral department but thats not a big deal. I will definitely be back!

Want some organic foods shop at golden nuggets at 5627 paradise drive in Corte madera (Marin county California) just off of highway 101. I give them a five star.

I had lunch there. Home made chicken parmesan grilled panning. It was delicious. They have a great deli with lots of good options. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean. They have a few tables to eat inside as well as outside. My Co worker got a vanilla with coffee milkshake and homemade whip cream on top. Yum!

If anything their hot sandwiches are the reason to go. One of my favorite places for sandwiches especially their custom made.Prices for their food area are good but groceries are expensive to get there but great for when I need fresh produce on a quick trip.

Food quality since the days it was called paradise foods has been on the decline.Premade food quality has been streamlined and made with cheaper ingredients. Now plagued with cheap cheeses and salt, Paradise Foods now Nugget has gone from the quality level of Woodlands and Whole foods into sitting right next to safeway

Former Deli and Kitchen Employee :( i quit because of better opportunities) .the Deli dept. is dead. some of the prepared food in the deli has been sitting there for weeks, i.e. the chicken parmigiana had been prepared on a monday morning, goes on display all day and the end of the day they put it back in the walk-in fridge over night and pull it back out the next morning to display again, that same chicken was taken out and put in display for customers to purchase for at least a month. this pattern repeats it self daily and weekly with any other prepared food in the deli dept. now that being said, i must acknowledge the staff tht works on the prepackaged items such as salads and brekfast burritos, those are fresh made almost daily. P.S. they DON’T donate any of their food leftovers.

Im giving them 5 stars. Why? I started to really look at the details within the market from the isles and the setup, to food selection, to the produce and displays while also thinking back in comparison to Paradise which, in contrast, had a number of issues.I live right up the street from a Whole Foods and Im in it almost everyday. How Whole Foods changed the industry was the experience of shopping along with the selection. For instance, you notice it when you enter a Safeway - everything just isnt the same.Now, enter Nugget Markets. In my opinion, they have the experience of a Whole Foods (good selection, nice environment, clean setup) with the more mass market selection of a Safeway (I can actually buy the real 7UP). If you were to make Safeway the low price side and Whole Foods the high price side, Nugget fits about in the middle leaning towards the slightly higher price side. This + the ability to have a mix of what Whole Foods is all about (organic stuff etc) and the mass market foods like Safeway is great positioning.Now for the Paradise comparison. Paradise as a great market was a figure of most peoples imagination. Pricing was hyper high. Service was on the low side. Selection weaker. Presentation weaker (except for the hardwood flooring which I think helped with everyones imagination). Lastly, it took F.O.R.E.V.E.R. to get a sandwich. I would wait 15 minutes at times. I know this by how much email I got done. By comparison, Nugget is V.E.R.Y. F.A.S.T.And finally, the employees. Nugget are very attentive and helpful and theres alot of them so youre never alone. Step back and take a look, youll see a very nice, well run market that the neighborhood is lucky to have.
