Nice store that has anything you need . But I think the prices are a little high. But what do I know shop and have fun on your next art project .

The first time I shopped at this store there was a man and a younger girl who were very nice. But, this one star review goes to whoever was closing today 08/08/21 I went to pay with cash and the machine wasn’t working for the cashier who seemed new. She didn’t want to wait and try to let the machine work. She quickly put my bill in it 10 times without patience and didn’t not listen to the manager or lead closer I’m assuming about trying to do it slowly and straightening the bill out. She told me to pay another way rudely and the lead closer or manager agreed. This alone is pretty bad that these two could not figure out how to use a machine to check bills and did not even attempt to try and fix the problem or do it manually. This was such bad customer service and luckily I did have a debit card. They seemed like they just didn’t want to do their job at all!If I didn’t have a debit card on me I would of been walking out with nothing because they chose not to let me pay with cash because the cashier did not know how to use the machine or even do her job! Horrible and his experience alone made me rather go to Joann’s fabrics instead of this michaels. Such a bummer!These people need to be trained better so customers can normally pay for what they are buying! I could not believe they just expected me to pay some other way because she didn’t not know how to use a machine!

I was greeted warmly as I walked in the door by a mermaid hair lady. I soon found some tags from items that had been stolen and brought them to the front and gave them to the mermaid lady at one check out. When I went up to that checkout counter later, where I saw the mermaid lady earlier, I didnt see her and then I hear somebody behind me say over here and I turn around and a different lady (cave woman) was at a different checkout. I told her Im sorry, I saw the girl over there earlier and she says Well, Im here now in a very sour voice.As Im trying to unload my arms full of stuff into the checkout counter, in front of the panel of protection, I get snapped at by the cave woman with a piercing between her eyes. She rudely told me to put the model car box in a different spot, before I was able to get my arms unloaded. And trying to make nice to her only got her to snap at me again to move the box. Personally, I always try to get the all little items rung up first. (Great smelling candle wax) Not a good customer experience. She shouldnt be a customer service person. The mermaid hair lady was much nicer. Thats why theres two stars instead of one.

My biggest problem is that I always want more than I can afford! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the store is clean and easy to navigate. Im disappointed that the scrapbook supply section seems to have gotten smaller, but overall a great store.

Huge store with a great selection of art, craft and framing supplies. The store is light, bright and organized. They have good sales and you can often find great coupons online or via email.

It’s micheals for sure, friendly staff and good prices for great art supplies. i got some great fine tip lining markers and water color paper. it was a bit empty in the front, but i think they were just clearing out holiday stuff.

Drove from another town over. Manager made me leave 5 minutes after arrival due to my disability. I was not offered accommodation (online or curbside). My HIPPA rights were violated, she violated the ADA, and i was denied services. Dont recommend if you hope to meet warm and compassionate employees/service.

Employees at the store greet their customers as soon as the walk into the store. Store is clean and well stocked. They also adhere to the CDC guidelines Wich I like.

I dont really shop at Michaels much. It seems to be more of a party supply store to me. Im more of a crafty person so I prefer Hobby Lobby.

Michaels has changed and I couldnt find what I needed. Disorganized. Also the employee I met was very odd.

Erin in the framing department does absolutely phenomenal work. Ive gotten a lot of pieces framed there, she takes the time to make sure everything looks perfect for her customers, from their eyes, not just hers. My house looks significantly better for the work she has done. Ill be back!

It smells really good in here. The associates were friendly. The prices appear to be higher than say, Hobby Lobby. I found a couple of items here that are definitely more expensive than there. They have nice bathrooms. The color scheme reminds me of Target or Staples. In fact, did this use to be a Staples or Office Depot? Hmm.

Michael seems to be getting rid of paper crafts very few things to make gift cards with I was very disappointed with what I thought Michaels yesterday

Not very helpful, didnt have what I needed. Shelfs were in a mess, not alot of Christmas items to choose from either. What they did have was last years stock, which was still over priced. Needed a zipper, which they didnt have the color I needed, had to choose a color I really didnt want. 🥺

Found what I needed, asked for help, was given help politely.

Ordered a custom frame using a coupon. Holy moly!! The coupons make an enormous difference! Dropped from $460+ to $168. I wouldnt have gotten it framed at the higher price. Awesome 👍. Use the coupons. Well see how it looks when I get it.

Completely unimpressed after employees lied to me about removing sale signs rather than just explaining that a sale was incorrect.I went to Michaels to buy some watercolor paper and was pleasantly surprised to find that the signs said it was on sale. I went to purchase my items and was told they werent scanning and was asked where I had seen the sign advertising the sale. The cashier asked for someone to do a sign check over the radio and then told me there were no signs for the sale. I assured him that there had been, but when I went back to check the signs had been removed. Just tell me if a sale is out of date or a mistake, dont lie to my face. Left without purchasing, and dont plan to return.

A great place for crafts, art supplies and decorations. On this visit I went there to find some frames for large paintings, since Aaron Brothers is now inside Michaels stores. They had plenty of frames, but not much for larger paintings. Large frames like that were custom orders, and too pricey for me. Thats not a dig on the store, just the way of the world now days. Michaels is great. Glad they are around.

If youre looking for very niche things, such as wool for needle felting, its not likely to be here, but all your general arts and crafts supplies likely will be. They also have a section for custom frames.Removed one star only because when I asked and/or called in to inquire about upcoming sales I had heard about, I couldnt get a clear answer. Apparently only one person (sales manager I think..?) Knows any deals or sales, the rest of the staff had no idea what I was talking about.

Staff cant be bothered, prices out of sight. Dont go unless you have coupons!

This Corvallis location actually has helpful and really nice staff. So different than the one in Round Rock, TX. The daily 40% off coupons is legit. I almost go there daily now, haha.

Outstanding place for career artist to get supplies as well as families to find craft supplies. Framing department is fantastic. If you are headed in here for a single high budget item make sure you find a coupon online. If you live around Michaels locally its a great resource for seasonal and Holiday crafts and gifts as well as housewares.

Didnt have everything I wanted

Wow! If its a craft you can pretty much find it here. The only thing I have looked for and not found is Monks cloth for Swedish weaving. Vert friendly staff.

They never seem to have what Im looking for. When I ask, answer is always the same, we are limited in what we carry, but you can order online and pick it up here. Ugh, if I didnt need it now, I would have stayed home and shopped online.

Always good deals on sales

Can always find interesting items here, found a craft book for my grand niece for Christmas. Love the candles there and sales people are always pleasant and upbeat.
