Good variety. They have refrigerated, frozen and shelf stable.I have seen better prices on some of the items at other markets, but most prices are fair. And the variety and politeness makes it worth it to shop here. We always are happy with our purchases and look forward to shopping here(we live an hour away, so we bring a cooler) so if your looking for great ingredients and spices for cooking. Already prepared, or just some snacks. They got it.
Good selection of hard to find asian spices. Good store. Staff less than thrilled to be there.* And the restaurant in back has probably the rudest employees. FYI.
Lots of ingredients that you obviously cant get elsewhere. Pretty good prices. And the entire store is always immaculately clean. I still need to try their restaurant food though.
I love stores like these. Normally I would rate 5 stars however a bunch of stuff I bought was expired and not by a little but by months. I bought Milk Tea and it expired in Feb.
Great store but didn’t really have varieties of food.
Great place to get many things including canned Thai tea and boba tea and various interesting snacks.
One of the best Asian markets within 30 miles in any direction. I come here at least once a week to find new snacks and drinks Ive never tried. In typical Asian market fashion, most price tags arent even accurate and things ring up all over the place when youre buying, but you just cant beat their selection. And theres even a restaurant snuck into the very back of the store, where I had never tried better to-go Chinese food in my whole life. The Kung Pao and cilantro chicken is truly incredible and the portion lasts for days. Love, love LOVE HK as my local market.
Awesome store! Had pretty much everything I could want. Cant wait to frequent this business.
I get all my japanese treats here hehe
Clean, well organized aisles with a nice selection of products.
HK Asian Market used to be a good choice for my last-minute-item-before-I-get-home from my shopping list. However, in all honesty, Customer Service is a foreign concept in their vocabulary. There were about six customers waiting yo pay and the cashier was on her phone. When it was my turn, I ask for an item that I was looking for. The cashiers answer to my question was Yeah, go to the last aisle and look for it!. I politely declined, paid, and placed the bought items inside my tote.Needless to say I am not going back to a place where I do not feel appreciated. ~
The restaurant in the back has the most authentic and delicious Chinese food I have eaten to date. I cant find food like this anywhere else, and Ive been looking for years!
Very expensive and not very fresh produce. Their frozen seafood looks like it is covered in freezer burn. They do not have bags when you check out so make sure to bring your own. They also do not accept EBT or any transactions under $10.
Surprisingly good! Great variety.
If the same owner from Eugene kings Asian Market, that will explain it all why the lady is so grumpy. same experience at the Kings asian market, be careful to ask any questions..
Wonderful selection and fair prices. Love it
Love this place! They have do many things I didnt know I needed!
Great store Bice cashier
The store has a decent selection of items (fresh and frozen). Customer service is poor: not friendly, barely helpful. I wouldnt continue to shop there except it has a better selection of items than the only other Asian grocery store in the area.Oh and the restaurant in the back is called Yummy Yummy.
Great place to do some shopping for Asian fresh/frozen ingredients for a decent price and they have a restaurant in the back with yummy food. Win-win 🙌
Love coming here, nice people.
They had soooo many products to choose from and the store is very well lit and spacious.
Well-stocked and organized store that usually has what I’m looking for. Mostly Chinese ingredients, but plenty of Japanese, Korean, and other east asian items sprinkled in. Good prices and conveniently located. Highly recommend visiting :)
Freezer burnt durian for $16.00 not worth buying. Does not accept EPT/ Oregon Trail Card. Rice & Spice is a much nicer store.
Lots of good vegan and vegetarian options you wont find many other places.
Have good items that isnt available from other stores.
The people were very helpful and friendly. There is restaurant in back and the food is fantastic.
Lovely Selection, HORRIBLE Business. Went in to get some veggies and other assorted items . Went to the front counter and the gave my card and the lady literally looked at me and said no we dont do that (referring to my oregon EBT food card) and gave us the card back very rudely as if to gesture that we are lesser beings for trying to purchase food with EBT in their store (Which might I add is literally what EVERY FOOD STORE IN OREGON DOES) absolute HORRIBLE treatment. And Im sure they are breaking the law in some.way or another with how they handled that bit of business. Because when I asked WHY I wasnt allowed to purchase my cold food items, she pretended not to understand me.
Has a fantastic selection of Korean, Japanese, and Chinese foods. It appears Chinese food is most prevent but it is implied in the name. Most ramen types available in corvallis out of any store. A little restaurant in the back with delicious Chinese dishes, highly recommend the noodle dishes. This is my first stop when looking for anything Asian food related in corvallis.
Smells delicious when you walk in. They have almost anything you are looking for to make authentic Asian food. Clean. Friendly service. Decent prices. I didnt give them a 5 star because Rice and Spice on Van Buren has more product and cheaper prices. This place is fancy and worthy.
Awesome 👌
The market is great, has about anything you would want. And the restaurant in the back is very authentic. One of my favorite places in town to stop and grab food.
HORRIBLE service. The workers werent wearing masks. When asked where an item was, worker gave a vague point into the direction it was with no real help (keep in mind the store has ZERO organization and is counter intuitive). Also charge .50 if you use a debit card, and made ZERO eye contact and played on her phone the entire time. Absolute void of customer service and will never go there again.
Was looking for scallions pancakes and bao, and dumplings, and noodles, and spoons, and dried fish, and big gluten balls, and pork liver, and milk candy, and Jasmine rice, and peanuts, rice vinegar, and I found all of it and then some. This business is clean and organized. The staff is friendly, but not intrusive. bonus: theres a restaurant in the back.
So happy to have a bigger and more comprehensive Asian market in Corvallis. There are fresh vegetables, frozen foods and many different types of sauces, snacks, noodles and dried food available. Its a very pleasant surprise to have so many selections. The place is very clean and bright and spacious. There are still empty shelves in there and hope they will stock up more merchandise like canned goods. But Ill definitely shop there often.
Always has something I need, and amazing staff
Great labeling in English of the items on the shelves. Makes browsing easy. Check out the restaurant in the back, yummy yummy!
This place is great for Chinese/Taiwanese food stuffs you cant easily find around here. So far, all the prices and bulk options are great. I was also impressed to find cuts of pork and other meats that are actually used in Chinese cooking, and a large variety of fresh vegetables and dried noodles. I highly recommend you check this place out!
This place is great!! They have a wonderful selection of Asian goods in the store section...but the best thing is the restuarant in the back. 👍😋 They serve the best take out Chinese Ive had in a long time. Loved the dry sauteed string beans!🥢
Great restaurant in the back! Loved the food, tasted great and there are many options. I will definitely eat there again!
Love the restaurant here! Great selection of food. The place is very large, too. There are many snacks from different Asian countries, along with ingredients, drinks, and appliances. I hope this doesn’t place grows even more!
They have everything I was looking for and the hidden restaurant in the back is awesome good legit, not Americanized food.
Nice place with a good atmosphere.
Good, interesting produce selection and always appreciate new ingredients. I was shorted $10 by the cashier. Probably and honest mistake, but she took my $20, put it in the till, and then gave me my change from a $7.98 purchase of $2.02. When I said that I had given her a twenty, she said, No, no, you gave me a ten. and then pulled a $10 dollar bill out of the till to verify, although this did not verify at all as her till had several tens and twenties in it.
HK has a lot of asian food/snack choices that are so good. They also have a restaurant in the back that serves probably the most authentic chinese food you can experience here in Corvallis. The menu is written in chinese with small translations. But, it shouldnt give you too much trouble when ordering. Overall, this place is really good for food and groceries. Would strongly recommend to others.
Nice place! Lots of products I havent been able to find are here, and for a reasonable price to boot. Check it out if you havent gone yet, really worth it!
Went to the restaurant in back of store. So good! You have to try it.
Careful when checking out. We bought a bunch of stuff and found they charged for one thing we didn’t purchase when got back home. Though still go shopping there, never trust them again. Watch out!
Finally-A large Asian products market in Corvallis! A focus on Chinese, Japanese, and Korean style foods and goods. Large open space. Brightly lit. Great selection of both fresh and packaged items. So glad someone is filling this niche in Corvallis again!
On Friday, Dec 14, midday, I stopped in to look for Japanese tea. The young woman clerk who attended me and my Japanese friend was cold to the point close to rudeness. I dont speak Japanese. No, we dont carry Japanese tea, only Chinese. No smile, no please come back, no, did you find what you were looking for.
Great products. Friendly staff. Easy to read prices. Highly recommend their knives.
Lots of great products and selection
Fun little well organized store with a lot of food you can’t get elsewhere in Corvallis. Interesting flavors for western pallets including Lays potato chips sold in other markets as well as soft drinks as candy. I like to grab Ramen Style noodles there because I eat mor instant noodles than any adult should admit.
Do not shop here! They overcharge, be VERY careful when they ring you up. Theyll even short change you. They dont accept credit or debit cards. They are EXTREMELY rude and refuse to speak English. The only people they treat well are other Asians. The items are overpriced. There are no redeeming qualities that make shopping at HK Asian Market tolerable. Unless you like being over charged by racist Asians who wont even speak to you dont waste your money here.
Great. Friendly customer service, fair pricing, I have no complaints!
Good option to shop for asian, chinese food and ingredients. There is a chinese restaurant inside
Excellent selection of reasonably priced traditional and new asian food.
A bit pricy...but lots of variety.
Cute store, they have good stuff. But they do not accept EBT.
English translation appreciated. Excellent selection.
Some very authentic food. Love this place.
The resteraunt in the back is the dankest food in Corvallis
Loved it! Large selection, biggest Asian store in town. Produce and meat looked good 👌
Great Genuine Szechuan restaurant at the back. Staff courtesy can be better..
Great selection and convenient location.
Fantastic selection of foods and supplies
I dont write reviews as most places I visit are perfectly average. This business is predatory. The prices are average to overpriced but when I checked out, I was shocked. So shocked I didnt say anything as they charged me double what I owed. They didnt even bother with a receipt before waving me out of the shop. If you can find another market that has what you need, go there instead.
Mostly Chinese imports sold here as the name implies. Great ingredients, but slightly pricey. Look elsewhere for Japanese/Korean culinary ingredients, otherwise, theres plenty of Japanese candy and sweets.
Small selection, but a decent variety of Asian food items. Kind of rude customer service that was enough to put me off. Will find a new place.
Mostly Chinese food. Small market style.
Had some great merchandise but employees were rude to you if you arent asian.. charged me for the bag to put my purchased items in as well.
Lots of things you wont find elsewhere in town. We usually shop those online, but its also nice to have a store nearby.
Love the variety.
I might be have been able to find what I was needing, If the staff here spoke even a lick of english. Had the same problem at this store on three separate occasions. I couldnt even explain to the cashier what vegan meant, and many of the product ingredients are written in a foreign language.
The in-store restaurant was great. Clean and bright.
Be careful when checking out. They overcharged and when i pointed this out instead of adjusting the amount they threw in a couple of (fake tasting ) chocolatebars into my purchase without my agreement. What kind of business practice is that ? Is that rude or what ?
Not too bad for just opening up. They are constantly expanding.
Best local option for Asian foods and cooking supplies.
Nice selection, good prices and friendly workers! Will continue to shop here for sure!
My first time here, I was directed here to get papadams but they didnt have them. However lots of the things I would expect at a Chinese style Asian Market. I was looking for different things to make for a vegan Thanksgiving. Vietnamese style Rice paper wraps will work.
Great place. Large selections
Very extensive supply of items. Excellent
Tiny Asian market. Didnt have what we were looking for.
Interesting selection of random Asian groceries and novelties.
Mostly stocked with everything needed to do traditional Japanese or Chinese cooking.
Excellent lunch, great store!
Great selection....
Lots of choices you can not find anywhere else
Large selection of Asian foods and supplies.
Good selection of Asian imported goods
Good selection
It has a lot of options, is cheap, and friendly staff.
Best variety in town
Great location.
Love it!
