About 5 employees in the register and nobody offered to help me find the right size of roller skates for my kid. Only one of them greeted me from afar. After 20 minutes trying shoes on, nobody even asks if I need a different size. When finally see an employee walk by, I ask him and he just said to use the ruler they have on the floor to measure my kids feet and left. The cashier didnt even look or talked to me. They are hiring more people so if you have no manners and want to get paid for doing nothing, this is the place for you. Otherwise the store had really nice stuff but definitely wont be back after this experience.

My first (and last) time in the store, 3 associates at the register, not one offered assistance, I finally found what I was looking for, the person that rang me up was still talking to another associate, after I paid and he handed me my receipts he told me to have a nice day, did not look at me but continued his conversation

Most items dont have a price tag, if youre looking to buy something heavy maybe look it up before you go in the store so you dont have to carry it to the front counter and then back to the shelf if you dont want it.

Good shoes at good prices

Friendly staff greeted me as I walked and asked if I needed any help. Directed me to the right place for my purchase (tennis supplies) and rang up my purchase quickly. Because of Covid19, everyone was wearing masks, which was good to see. :-)

Lyndee was rude as hell, horrible attitude. I shop for my boys there all the time and because of the virus, Corvallis Little League cancelled this season. My boys didnt use any of the stuff. She kept making excuses to not refund my money. Wouldnt take the bat back because it didnt have the plastic??? Really??? Wouldnt take the glove because the tag was gone... Her attitude stunk... Horrible customer service. You should be ashamed of yourself.

They are always helpful without being overwhelming. You just need to ask. I always go there for my familys outdoor-needs.

Great place to run in and grab stuff without waiting on shipping. While I do think I got the best deal on what I was looking for you might want to do some price comparison online before you buy. Their site was up to date with products and sales. The staff was friendly and efficient. Will keep coming back as needed.

I went in to buy a replacement wristband for a Smith and Wesson watch that I bought earlier in the year. Everything was working perfectly fine with the watch other then a pin popped out of the band. A really friendly and helpful young lady helped me that day. She gave me a brand new watch at no charge and took my broken watch to send back to the factory as a defect.

They are kind and helpful in that store. However Big 5 doesnt have sizes for larger women. The largest bra was too tight for me.

We went in right before close looking for a oaur if court shoes. Staff was very helpful and there were several options. Shoes arent on the high end of the lines but all major brands were represented and in this case they had exactly what we needed. Great service and convenient location.

Worst experience at this store. I walked in and was looking for some sweaters. The whole time the cashier upfront was staring me down if i was about to rob something. Never said a word to me didn’t ask what he can help me with. Was literally staring me down and giving me a weird look. I told him if i can help him and he just looked away. I bought a couple stuff got to the register and no word was spoken. Didn’t give me recipient. I literally will never come back to this store again. If i could zero would be a perfect rating.

Good deals on marked items. Unfortunately, employees were no help. The only two employees in the building were helping one customer, even as I waited at the checkout. They then ran that customers several items before my one item. Ill look elsewhere from now on.

Went in About 45 min ago looking for scope rings and was ignored as I walked through the door stood at the appropriate counter for about 10 or 15 min was glanced at a couple of times then realized they were going out of their way to avoid eye contact at which point I left didnt even get so much as a greeting.. I will never spend my money there again as well as making sure everyone I know in the hunting/farming community avoids it as well.. possibly willing to kick someone in the big toe for the horrible experience..

This is the only place that had what I needed. The clerk led me right to it.

Sent us home with the wrong treadmill after breaking our car antenna while placing it on our racks. Then sent us in circles in getting the right treadmill which they originally had in stock -only to find out they dont carry it. Incompetent and a total waste of time. Such a shame since attention to detail and caring about customer service would have made the difference.

Do not shop at the Corvallis Big 5!!!! Even though their website claims that not only the Corvallis store but all surrounding stores had Intex french oars in stock. We drive all the way out there to be told by a rude manager that they were in boxes in the back because they were out of season. After waiting for an associate to come out, he finally comes out with a couple sets of their most expensive ones!! He claims there are no other ones and the manager would not even try to honor the price on a different/similar set. His only answer was we can order you a set from another store i am extremely unsatisfied with the unprofessional tone and inability/unwillingness to even try and make it right. Do not trust what there website says!!!! On a good tone Play it Again Sports on 9th not only carried equivalent sets on the floor, they were much more courteous, i would check there first for your sporting good needs in Corvallis.

Some of the lowest prices in town you cannot beat big 5 sporting goods they have a crazy large inventory youll probably find anything you need in big 5 for anything from airsoft guns and BB guns to tennis shoes and basketball hoops

I would have paid the difference if anyone had offered any type of acknowledgement, but I can wait an extra day and save money.

Big 5 is awsome i really lime the staff and the deals they have everything you need for hunting fishing biking and any thing outdoorsy the only two things that i can find wrong is the fact they do not sell adult bows or licences for fishing and or hunting they do however have a great selection of starter bows for children and did i mention the staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to see if you have found everything ok and give you deals on certian things that may be a month out of date they are awsome in my opinion
