The pharmacy doesnt answer their phone, and the wait in line is more than 30 min already... still in line. Get your prescriptions filled at Fred Meyer. Even if the line seems long, it definitely MOVES.Update: waited a total of 45 minutes in line... I feel like my soul left my body.

I have counted 20+ bad reviews in one month. Wake Up Rite Aid. Your poor employees are having to bear the weight of your poor management and their lack of consideration for the customers. I was told Id receive a phone call from your management team in regards to my concerns I voiced to your online customer service chat bot. Which I found ironic because no one picks up the phones at this store. Its been 4 days and no one from upper management has reached out, not surprised.Not that your company cares, but youve lost another long time customer (10 years). Honestly, its not even the long lines for me. Im pretty patient with that, but to not pick up the phones or have a working automated service, I cant see how that cant be resolved. Its not the employees fault, its the managers fault. I feel bad for the other employees.

My wife is a pharmacist so I completely understand what “busy” means. This Corvallis pharmacy is slow and it is virtually impossible to call in and talk with “anyone”. I don’t blame the pharmacy staff as this is corporate America at it s finest. Maximize profits over customer experience every time. The answer is to simply stop using Rite Aid period. Realistically, that won’t happen so the choice is yours…deal with it and enable the poor service you are getting or move on and send them a strong message that you deserve better! Again…don’t blame the pharmacy staff. It takes a lot to get your script right, no one wants a fast pharmacist that makes errors. It is purely a staffing issue that is out of the pharmacists control. Think about it!

Ive been waiting for my prescriptions for 3+ weeks. No communication, the line so long that, I simply cant wait. They dont answer the phone. The last time they answered the phone, I was on hold for an hour and a half. I hung up.I need my meds, so providers do not understand this situation and think Im trying to refill early, when I havent received my current refills. So messed up.

Edit: As to the endless replies to simply call 1800 XYZ, please just do that yourselves. Id rather air my issues openly in a way that cant just be buried by corporate Rite-Aid. You guys simply need to hire more staff and if you cant find workers, its time to raise wages.It has been steadily going downhill for a while and so unfortunately, I will be switching pharmacies. The drive through is convenient(although the lines frequently last 30-40 minutes) but you need to have your prescription filled to be able to use it. Days will go by where they are filling your prescription with no communication. Typically, it wont be filled until you call and then suddenly it will be available an hour later. As of right now, Ive been waiting for 16 days for a refill but I cant even call them to see whats going on. I just get put through an automated system 3-4 times before they disconnect the call. Luckily I can live without the prescription but what if I couldnt? Sorry you died but corporate couldnt afford sufficient staff. They would have been 4-5 stars a couple years ago but now its just a headache.

Worst service in Corvallis and it’s not even close. Their lack of urgency to assist customers that are trying to pick up prescriptions is truthfully baffling. The pharmacy take days to “auto re-fill” your prescription and will not answer the phone to offer any communication as to whether it’s done or not. Turning me into a Karen for almost 3 years now. Ive been hesitant to say anything because I understand we are in a pandemic and it could have been staffing issues. At this point, its been long enough and its time for Rite Aid to step up and correct the problems in their pharmacy. Im wondering who else this is affecting. Its especially hard to deal with when one is sick. The auto-refill system and phone calls are ignored by pharmacy staff for hours at a time. I still have to go in and request the prescription, and then wait a number of hours even when it was on auto-refill. Most patients want to pick up their prescriptions when they are prescribed, and Ive always waited a number of hours but they never fill them. Im begging this pharmacy to step it up and do a better job. We only have two options in this town. Today, the pharmacy option on the automated system was circling back to the intro message about store hours - continuously for 45 minutes until I gave up. Its interesting how Rite Aid has the same response to every similar negative review but seemingly does nothing to fix the problems that are so obviously clear and spelled out for them.

This is the absolute WORST pharmacy my wife and I have EVER dealt with! They are RUDE they are SLOW! The don’t ANSWER the PHONE! We switched over to RICE’S in Corvallis and are so much happier now! I know we are not the only people that can’t stand this place so hit them where it hurts and boycott this place!!!UPDATE!! My wife and I ended up going from Rices to Fred Meyer and what a difference!! Yes they are understaffed but still polite and pleasant!! Great decision for us!! 😁

This is the slowest, least responsive pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I have called every day the past week, at various times and have never gotten through. They suddenly closed early yesterday due to lack of staff. The closing was not posted online or even on a sign on the door, but a small unprofessional paper taped to the window down low where the 12+ people in line could not see. Two days in a row I drove straight from work to pick up critical medicines. There should have been an email or notice sent out before the weekend so that we could get our medicine elsewhere. This is unacceptable. However, before this critical week, I still experienced long long wait times, both in line and for refills of prescriptions. Definitely do not recommend this pharmacy.

Best pharmacy I’ve ever used up until a couple weeks ago. They are so short staffed they can’t answer phones, lines are ridiculously long. I work nights so this is problematic for me. I’ve been calling for 2 days and haven’t been able to get through. I just want to get my medication filled.

I am currently writing this as I have been waiting for an hour, to get to the front of the line, and then be told my prescription isn’t ready, and need to wait even longer. There are currently 10 other people in the same situation as me, I know they have been understaffed, but it has been over a month of this, and they have allowed me to run out of my prescription TWICE! Despite my automatic refill, and calling them daily when I am running low. I was on hold on the phone for an hour yesterday, and then was hung up on. One of the side effects of my medicine is if I stop taking it suddenly it can cause muscle spasms and fainting! So kind of a big deal to not do this. This is a disgrace and very terrible. It isn’t the employees fault because they are so understaffed. Corporate needs to get their stuff together, if you are reading this, don’t just send me a generic response, god forbid I’m not waiting on hold to again, actually do something and hire some people!!

Worst. Pharmacy. Anywhere. Overwhelmed and glitching online and phone systems, understaffed, high turnover of clerks, disorganized piles of prescriptions, and no improvement in 18 months. Some of these problems are fixable but RA apparently won’t address them. For example, according to the clerks, they are WEEKS behind on phone orders but the system still tells you the Rx will be ready the next day. They seldom answer the phone so you have to go in person to be told it’s not ready yet but you might be able to get it in one more day (apparently a face to face contact is the only way to get service). If you have time-sensitive prescriptions go elsewhere to protect your health and safety. boycott this dumpster fire.

As a cashier at this rite aid it pains me to see the latest reviews. Our pharmacy has recently had many people transfer to other locations leaving them very understaffed. There really isnt anything they can do until we get new hires, we have even had some of our cashiers work overtime to help. As far as prescriptions being out of stock, the trucks that deliver our prescriptions have not been delivering as mush or as often due to COVID-19. Please I beg of you be patient with them and remember we are all human too and can only do so much. Thank you

This Rite Aid is clearly struggling with staffing issues. It’s gotten so apparent that they had to change their hours due to understaffing. It’s difficult to get any response when no one answers the phones. Hope they hire more people to work in the pharmacy soon. This is really invaluable work they do.

Same issue as everyone else. Ive been trying to call in to get my RX switch to this location, no one answered for days, would be on the phone for an hour just having the line disconnect or cycle back to the store prompt. My RX then got auto filled in Beaverton the online transfer system didnt fix that. Called rite aid on 185th they said this location has to transfer it. So guess Im just going to find a new pharmacy after being with rite aid for 10+ years. Or fill my RX out of town.Hey corporate if your reading this why dont you expand the pharmacy in this location and add additional staff, it seem like there is some demand around here and no pharmacy in town is delivering the standard or service people except, everyone has 2-3 ⭐ reviews. What an opertuinty to stand out, and make some money.

Their pharmacy isn’t my favorite, my wife has had issues regarding her medications, they seems to have the same response but it has been stated on her bottles that they still have refills. It’s just an extra hassle when it’s suppose to be convenient. I go to Fred Myers pharmacy and haven’t had an issue.

They mess up my prescriptions constantly. They set up the wrong dosage, the wrong scrip. They have lied and told me there was a needle shortage. They are rude, unprofessional, transphobic, and slow. Their delivery people are unreliable, and wont pick up my scrips to deliver them. I have never had a worse experience with a pharmacy. I will not be staying.

Unfortunately Rite Aid is the Only Pharmacy that discriminates against motorcyclists. They dont allow us riders to use their drive thru stating its corporates decision. Obviously unaware that motorcycles are 100% social distancing, oh yeah did they forget we pay road taxes, registration fees, and are considered motor vehicles.Im changing pharmacies and encouraging all riders to do the same

Pharmacy took 5 hours to fill half my medications (4 in total) I came back at the time they told me to. They hadnt even started the process and had lost my contact info. 5 hours after I put in the order (in person) and 2 hours after I had gone in. I called and they were filled and waiting for me. They had once again lost my phone number and failed to notify me. They gave no excuses for the treatment, nothing to ease the situation so I had to walk back in for the third time to get my order. Will not use again and will not recommend using this Pharmacy

I use to work at this pharmacy. I just want to let everyone know that this pharmacy does 400-600 prescription daily from 7am to 11pm this pharmacy is always busy! You need to cut them some slack. They are constantly restocking the shelves with medication and the phones are none stop ringing! They have customers coming from all directions. Its a high stress job. Technicians have to type in new prescriptions and then the most tedious part is dealing with customers health insurance. Its an exhausting job. They would appreciate some patience. Thank you.

I phoned in a prescription refill using their automated phone app. I was told that my order, a very simple one, would be ready at 1:15. I waited until 2:15, just to be sure. They hadnt even started it and I had to wait. Why bother to pre-order the refill if it doesnt make any difference.

I gave up on Rite Aid here in Corvallis.. One visit it took 9 minutes just to drop off a script and another time the Tech entered in the wrong medication and it was filled for an anti-depressant instead of the pain medication that it was written for. My profile states snap cap lids and they got that right only once out of 12 times. I asked for a print out for 1 specific doctor and wrote it down for them also and they still couldnt get it right. I moved across the street to Bi Mart and have had NO problems at all and the staff are all friendly and willing to help.

Had a migraine, went to the doctor and got a prescription for pain medication because they cant be called in anymore. Hand carried the prescription to Rite Aid yesterday. They said they were very busy and could not fill it until tomorrow. Went in this afternoon and they said we are out of this and wont be getting any in for a few days, should be filled by next Tuesday. First of all, why didnt they call me and tell me that. Second why does this always happen there. And last of all, why have I kept going there all these years when they are understaffed and out of so many prescription medication? Took the doctors prescription and went to another Pharmacy and got it filled right away. Rite Aid would be out of business if a Walgreens came into our town. P.S. I dont blame the pharmacy, I blame the whole Rate Aid company. God willing I will never walk into another Rite Aid again.

Its sad that others have had such difficulty here, but my experience has been quite the opposite. I work in home healthcare and one of my clients uses this Pharmacy for Rx. The client has more than six Rx to fill each month, and they are always ready on the same day, every month. We usually do a courtesy call in the morning, and then swing through in the afternoon. Doing something similar yourself may reduce frustration in waiting. Very few pharmacies these days can actually deliver in one-hour. What is more, the pharmacist has been very conscientious, always reminding my client of the possible dangers of the meds and encourages them to call if they have any questions. I would have no difficult recommending this pharmacy to others, with the addendum to plan ahead rather than showing up and expecting the world to revolve around your schedule.

I have been going to Rite Aid for years for my antidepressants and birth control. Recently their customer service has gotten to the point where when I call to check on a prescription Im put on hold for 20+ minutes until I have to hang up because I assume theyve forgotten about me. A few weeks ago I called to check on a refill, they said I didnt have any left and theyd need to fax my doctor. I called a few days later to see if it was available and they told me it hadnt been faxed in. By the time I was able to pick up my refill I had been without my medication for four days. The other day I was told that a very common medication (Prozac) is no longer being carried and Ill have to transfer my prescription. I might just switch to another pharmacy altogether.

Good customer service and comparative pricing. The only thing I wish theyd change is that at Walgreens they call you when your prescription is ready while at Rite Aid you have to call them. Oh well. What most of these other negative reviewers seems to realize, is that this drive thru isnt shoveling out pre-cooked burgers every 30 seconds. I know & understand that this is medication and they do have VERY strict rules to adhere to, whether its in the store or at the Drive through. Sometimes requires counsel of a pharmacist, sometimes there might be insurance issues, but also such procedures are needed more than ever in this sue to get rich quick society. They do an outstanding job!

*Edit*Maria at the pharmacy saw my grievance and work with my doctor and myself to get the prescription filled. She had to make several phone calls but she was a real advocate and a paragon of customer service. Thank you so much! I was going to take my business elsewhere but she made a customer for life! Five Star Service.I went into store #05366 to fulfill a prescription today. The prescription is from out of state, so someone(pharmacist?) called the Doctors office that I got the prescription from to verify that it was a legitimate one. That due diligence; however, the rest of the story goes down hill from here. The pharmacist called me around 2pm on 12/5/18. In her words, she told me that she couldnt fulfill the prescription because she could not verify with my doctors office that they had issued the prescription. I thought that was weird so I called up my Drs office, and they said they received a call from the Riteaid asking for my name and birthday. They refused to give that information because to do so would violate HIPAA.I called the riteaid back thinking they might have my date of birth wrong, however they verified that I am in their system under the correct DOB. They even confirmed that they asked for my identifying info.It seems absurd to be that the pharmacy would demand my patient information from my Dr.s office instead of offering up the information in their EHR.The people at the pharmacy said they needed to confirm my DOB. They could have done that with my drs office by giving them the DOB! giving identifying information is a valid use of HIPAA, however demanding it is NOT! (My doctor is going to send the prescription electronically) Hopefully its not messed up some more.Because of this logistical nightmare, and because I dont believe this company values my patient privacy I will no longer be using this store for prescriptions or for another reason.

I go to this pharmacy nearly every month to pick up my birth control medication and every month theres a problem. They take forever moving the line through, can never find my prescription when I ask for it, and are just plain slow!! I have tried using the drive through also and that was worse!! Its always a major ordeal going there and I hate it. I dont understand how there can be so many problems with simply handing me a pre-packaged prescription. They dont even have to count out pills or anything and STILL I can never get out of there in less than 20 mins. I used to live in Eugene and used Rite Aid there and I never had a problem. These people at the Corvallis location are just plain incompetent!!! I miss my old pharmacy :(

Every time I go to pick up my medication they tell me theyre completely out, after they texted me saying my prescriptions were ready for pickup. Tried calling in my prescription in and was cut off and put on hold before I even finished talking and had more prescriptions to fill. The lady Terry was very rude and hopefully I wont have to talk to her again. If youre going to be in the pharmaceutical business you need to actually listen to your customers and what they need before giving attitude and cutting you off by putting you on hold with no warning in the middle of calling in. Very dissatisfied and disappinted in your choice of workers.

Are there any ground rules for doing business at the Drive-Thru Pick Up window? This afternoon, there were 6 cars in line. After 5 minutes, the person at the window was still there; so I went and did some other business. When I can back, there were 3 cars ahead of me. After 20 min., only one person had finished their business. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how it takes so long to pick up a prescription. I am generally done in no more than 3-4 min. Is the Drive Thru pick up window for doing business other than picking up prescriptions? PS - I never did get my prescription! Your prices are great, but this kind of customer service is lousy.

I cant speak for the rest of the store. But the pharmacy department was completely incompetent. It took them three full business days to fill one small prescription. I was trying to transfer prescription to this pharmacy from another. They told me it was ready once, then I went to the store and they had set out the order to be made but no one ever made my pills. They said they would do it first thing in the morning. I called the next day at 1:pm and the person on the phone tole my that the transfer had just been approved. Rite Aid is really lucky that my condition is non-life-threatening. If yours is dont go here.

At least twice Ive called to ask if my prescription is ready and was told it was. When I got there they said it wasnt ready.Ive also had them tell me it would be ready by noon. Got there at 12:30 it wasnt ready. Fine, I can understand getting behind. I went back at 3 and they were again not ready as promised. I NEEDED these pills for that evening. I expressed my concern and they assured me they would be ready by 6. @ 6:15 there were NO pills ready for me. At that point I told them I would wait right there while they prepared them. I sat there for another hour and a half.For the last 3 months when I go in to get my prescription there has been NO LESS than an hour wait in line. Whether it was the drive thru or inside the pharmacy.Theyve got one register going in the pharmacy during the after work rush and a line going across the store. I dont expect them to have the turn around of a fast food place but I *DO* expect them to provide enough staff to keep the customers moving through in a timely fashion. Speaking to someone to get your refill at 12:30pm and being told your order will be ready by 4, showing up and being told they filled 1 of the 4 items and they need at least 2 more hours to finish! No wonder everyone talks badly of this store! Including doctors!

Pharmacy is plagued by human error. Automated refill requests are processed manually, and are overlooked, forgotten, or deleted without follow through. The default excuse is technology, but the real reason is lack of human accountability. For the sake of public health please get your act together!!!

Abysmal service. Dont have the Rx in when it should be, tell us to return an hour later and it will be ready, we return an hour later, and its still not ready - come back tomorrow. Are you kidding me? This happened twice in a row. We changed pharmacies.

My husband was told to arrive within 3 minutes for a vaccine and he was there in two and they turned him away. They told him there was no way that they could give him the vaccine as it would take 30-40 minutes to do paperwork and they had hours of backlog prescriptions to fill. Horrible service, horrible place, not friendly. Will not step foot in this store again!

The past few weeks have been hard, but my review is a review of the past 4 months, but the last string was today - 4 days ago, I came in and requested a prescription to be refilled and was told it’d be ready the next day. I come in then it’s not filled. Go home then I was notified by RiteAid that my prescription was filled on October 11, so I went in at 7:10pm (because their pharmacy hours online AND on their door say 9:00 PM) and they’re closed? Communication! So I come back the next day, and I wait in line for 20 minutes (there’s been roughly an average of 15 people in line). So the woman in front of me gets told her prescription has actually not been filled and it will be ready tomorrow (bless her heart, I would’ve lost it). Anyways, I get up to the register only to be told it has NOT been filled and sometimes their system “does that”. So they said I can wait for it and it’ll be ready in 20 minutes, stay tuned - update, it was ~not~ ready in 20 minutes. Total time spent from in line to when I got my prescription was 1 hour and 38 minutes.
