A day on the water and the boat dies. Take it to Southside Marine, they have for three days and then tell me the engine is shot and isnt worth repairing due to its age after charging me $118.00 for diaognostic fees. I sell it to a nice young fellow who bought it for the hull and trailer. Calls me later to tell me he and his father in law put a new fuel filter, new fuel line and fresh fuel and that now the boat purrrs like a kitten and runs great. I only give it one star cause you cant post this with NO stars!
Ugggg. Regardless of the reviews I went local. Not a good idea. Paid 360$ and my boat was more tore apart then when I took it there. All I asked for was the starter to be fixed. Calls me and says, your steering is frozen and you need new batteries. I had used the boat the Saturday before I took it there and steering was fine. I also had put brand new batteries in that weekend too. Feel like since Im a girl I was being taken advantage of and I am far from a because Im a girl person I feel bad writing this review but I dont want someone else to have to deal with it.
Customer service is awful. Hours are rediculous. Rather drive to Eugene to talk to someone who is happy for my business.
Terrible customer service. They think they are the only boat service shop and can treat their customers with disrespect. Ill make the drive any where else for a fair honest deal. Save your money and a headache and go somewhere else.
Closed forever now.
