Love this Home Depot! The garden department is my favorite of course, and its always so full of everything you want and things you dont even know you want until you see them. Its refreshing, very uplifting and inspiring! Like, adding a touch of new color makes everything seem better & this is Thee place to get that started. Very Reasonable prices & everything to get you started or to keep adding to your yard. If you cant tell? Made my whole day brighter after 40 minutes of taking it all in & coming home with some glorious color!🐞🌻🌺🌼🌸🌹

We are currently doing up grades to our place and different things have been bought and low and behold receipt have been lost and guess who gets to take back the stuff ! But I had no problem and I appreciate that !

Kind, quick service.First time at this location, needed to pick up an order for work right at opening time. In and out in less than 10 mins, even with a couple customers ahead of me. Came a couple more trips after the fact for more items.Random, but if the store manager sees this - can you maybe ask the person who parks his motorcycle in the order pickup area to park elsewhere thats more secure/safe for them? I feel like someone is going to damage his beautiful bike with a cart or something. The customer service area isnt supposed to be utilized as employee motorcycle parking...

This home depot has a large collection of succulents, outside, and inside plants compared to other ones Ive seen. Theyre Halloween selection is a little small, but they have these really cute glass solo lights. $15.

One of the worst experiences ever had with Home Depot,Don who works here said to me he is busy and can not help me, he try to find another guy to help me more than 20 minutes!!! But my job is only takes 30 seconds to do!!!When I talked to store manager Jeff, he said that he can not help me and I should wait for him until he find out free time, Don was sitting at his chair and laughing for whole time than when I trying to do that job by myself he came to me so rude and do it, it’s just one cut and they wasted my time more than 45 minutes for it, if Don and Jeff don’t want yo work why they are not staying at home and send them their paycheck, it’s more helpful for use as customers

They need to fire that manager that thought closing down the lumber department at 6pm was a good idea so that the employees can move everything twice. Once into the lumber department from outside and once again at night to load the product. Dont come here if you want to buy anything

I enjoy the convenience of going to this Home Depot based on the location, but if there is a Home Depot in the local area that will be out of stock of an item, Costa Mesa will be the first to be out of stock. A regular experience for me is to look up an item on my Home Depot app or online, only to see it is out of stock in Costa Mesa while several local stores have it in stock. They could benefit from being better at inventory management, as the problem seems less related to supply given that other stores have the items in stock.On the plus side, the check-out associates are generally courteous and quick at moving people through lines. The floor staff in each department are a bit thinned out and often busy with several other people vying for their attention.

Why did home depot Costa Mesa remove all of their American Flag decorations 3 days before Independence Day? And the answer had better be a good one because for the life of me I cant think of any acceptable reason.

I found everything I needed for my project. They even have flowers, toilet paper and dish soap. Well, they also have detergent and many other things. Too many to mention, but the store is clean and very well organized. All the personnel is friendly, courteous, and ready to help if you need it.

DO NOT do debit returns here terrible customer service a CLIENT OF MINE CHANGED COLORS ON ME SO I GO INTO RETURN THE OLD ONES FOR NEW ONES AND TNEY DENYED ME FOR NO REASON THAN THE WAY I LOOK!! (I had receipt n its only been 3 days)

This has been the Home Depot Ive visited for who knows how long. They usually always have what I need, very few times have I had to go to another Home Depot. The staff is friendly and helpful. Whenever something I bought was not working, they are helpful when I bring it in and are honest of whether or not they can do something about it. The store is clean and Iove going through the nursery. The flowers are beautiful and as a newbie at stuff like this, I am very grateful that I can approach an employee for help and leave happy with whatever I was going in for.

Went in to originally to buy a Milwaukee M18 but they were sold out, ended up picking up the Ridged 1/2 impact wrench instead along with a charger, socket and batteries. Out of the employees that helped me I only remember Jennifer who helped me at check out. Very friendly and helpful, she deserves a raise for sure!

This is a good home depot employees are friendly and happy to help - they never seem to carry dremel cutting disks ceramic 10 pack tho - weird - or they are always sold out - so off to another location I guess - Ive tried twice 2 weeks apart - thats the only reason for the less than 5 stars - this location is super close to my house so going further for a basic item is not ideal - super clean store tho and they usually have really good open box buys laying around the appliance area!

This is by far the whitest home depot Ive ever been to and while playing guitar in my car/truck/suv thing and overheard a couple maybe around 19 years old who are decorating the garden of their first home with her dads money and a conversation between 2 baby boomers about which bicycle racks are best to attach to their new hybrid sedans. I couldnt comment on the knowledge or attentiveness on the staff who work there because I was there strictly to steal batteries for myself to power my little guitar amp and a flashlight for a homeless friend of mine.

Service is pretty bad; I showed up 30 minutes ago to the curbside pickup and Im still waitibg for my item. I had to go in now twice to see what was going on.Since Im still just sitting in the parking lot now waiting for my curbside pickup I figure Ill leave a review.This isnt the first bad experience weve had with Home Depot either, late last year they sold us a defective dishwasher and that was a whole other headache.We always try and order from Lowes but sometimes its just more convenient to order from Home Depot since its only 5 minutes away vs 30 for Lowes.

Went to the Garden center and found some open bags of soils which I took out and asked if I could get a discount. The older lady associate decided to get her supervisor involved who came and took me to the back and said I couldnt buy those. She insinuated that I might have open those bags on purpose just to get a discount WTH? Just say no if you don’t want to sell them to me. Went great length to show your poor customer service. Great way to judge your customer. Will never ever come back to this store again.

I use this Home Depot when helping customers in the area, so its not my normal store. Its location is subject to some level of crime, one can assume, since they employ a mobile surveillance system. This is a mobile trailer with several cameras attached to the top of tall poles. All that is good, I suppose, keep our vehicles safe while we are in the store. Thoughout the months of Covid this store was quick to mandate masks before it was mandatory and often had an imposing male employee at the door to strongly encourage compliance. Now, with my last visit, while still in the parking lot, this store has added a recorded message. It came from the security trailer, a booming voice, something out of a Robot Cop movie, sternly informing me of all the things they expect us to do to stay safe. All very futuristic sci-fi and big brother is watching sort of stuff. I cant say it was in the least reassuring.

Close, items easy to find, large selection ( with more online with prompt delivery)online app tells whats in stock and which isle, lots of people to help, clean( including clean bathrooms for customers), garden opportunities with guarantees, they are helpful finding solutions, learn to do classes in store and some online, all of staff try to help, and more. Louis approved.

Went in for a replacement stair parts. Was helped kindly and they even helped with the cutting. If you are doing any household projects or even more advanced ones and need wood cut to your measurements, the people there are readily available to help.

Home Depot was great, an employee helped me find what I was looking for.

Laziest employee ever in the washing machine department. We had a problem with our washing machine, so we called to see if we can replace it. The female employee just simply said no and theres nothing she can do. But it turns out that the washing machine comes with a one year warranty, so clearly shes just trying to avoid solving any problems and be lazy. We wont trust home depot anymore.

The staff are always helpful and friendly. The store needs better ventilation because it is just too much dust everywhere. For someone with Asthma and Allergies, it is difficult to walk around in the store very long.

This Home Depot is always well kephen you can find personal they go above and beyond to help even taking you to the products you seek if they carry them anymore.Pricing is always fare.I do wish there was simpler shelving system .like all tools in tool section. I called 4 times never to get an answer to my phone call reason. I shopped elsewhere for the 200.00 home depot lost.

Julie and Gilda go above and beyond with their customer service in the Garden department. They both socially engage with the customers, often times helping answer questions and providing suggestions. They make you feel like a guest of their garden department, not just as a worker. They definitely make a huge difference in the shopping experience and such a pleasant interaction during my shopping visits.

I think they must have been training today because they were working in pairs. However no one volunteered to help me find what I needed. I asked two people and they both were wrong. But at least I was in and out kinda fast. I dont understand why some registers are card only. Who would restrict cold hard cash? Seemed to me that cash is still king. So I had to wait for a cash only machine.

This HD has a bigger nursery section than most, so I made a special trip. Foud the plants I wanted.

Nice and clean organized and not many people

So their appliance delivery service is a headache. My delivery is scheduled for Tuesday morning, no one showed up. I called HD and they advise me to wait. I waited the whole day nothing. Then I had to call them again next day and it is scheduled for Friday, a day later rescheduled for Saturday... And still waiting now.This is all because of the company they used, Temco Logistics. Just check their reviews, there is more one star than you can imagine. Gas leak after appliance installation? Unacceptable! Just beware if you decide to buy appliances from Home Depot.A lot of friends bought from Costco without any hassle and installation/parts usually included (could cost +$100 in Home Depot).They also deleted my review from their website because I criticized them. So beware of the reviews as well.I give two stars because in-store experience is overall good. Associates are helpful and I can find what I need.

Pet Depot. This place should get rid of the hardware and stock dog food and pet supplies instead. Management and Staff turn a blind eye to the dog park theyve become. Sacrificing their patrons safety to avoid enforcing important company and civil laws and policies. My daughter almost got bit here today and managers standing around like idiots like what happened. Look around people.

I had been looking on their website and app at portable air conditioners. I wasnt sure just from the descriptions which one would be best for me I would I get the window adoption kit Etc. So I decided to go in. They had been displayed in the middle of the store. I went and found an employee who told me that somebody from Plumbing handle post and he called them and said they would be over to help me. That they were with another customer. So I waited. And I have to say I ended up waiting for a while. But once the employee got there to help me I understood why I waited. He gave me outstanding customer service. And if he was giving me that outstanding service he must have been giving it to the person before me. After he finished with me he helped to other people on portable air conditioner. And afterwards the lady and I were both talking about what a great employee he was

Terrible customer service. One star is to much for this place.

Be careful when buying plants here since they put prices on both the ceramic pots the plants come with and the plastic liner inside. The checkout guy probably doesnt work at the garden center scanned both, essentially double-charged me and I caught it before paying. I saw a lot of orchids and houseplants missing their ceramic pots as well. Go to a different HD or Lowes, otherwise you are paying more for less.

Its easy place to shop IF you know what you need and know where it is located, however if you need help look for an associate 40 years or older. The younger associates that work there seem to be there just for a paycheck and could care less about good customer service . They know very little about home repair or materials necessary for the job

Got help from several different people and round what I needed. The did an even exchange on something I had that was broke even though I had no receipt. Good store.

The last 4 staff members I interfaced with were nice. Prior to that I found they were more often busy talking to other staff or off in some place in their own mind. Ah, well.

The true happiest place on earth

Helpful staff. Bought gloves, storage boxes, kitchen trash bags and a rug. They were out of regular vinegar, and they do not carry mesh laundry bags. Their indoor plant selection is awesome.

First sad Customer Service then a Wonderful associate named Lisa helped me. Great service. Promote her and make her a leader because other employees had terrible attitude!!! Thank you Lisa!

This is my go to home improvement store and I can always find what I need. The only reason Im giving it a 4 star rating is because you can never find anyone to help. But when you do, the person is either super friendly and helpful or rude and didnt want to be bothered.

Wouldve gotten 5 stars if they had more staff. But the guys that did assist me were very knowledgeable.

I had one simple question! Is this garden soil I selected a good option for this potted plant I am showing you in the picture sir? The Home Depot garden employee responded yes that is a very good option. I asked if there were better options and he said no that one is pretty good.Well I am at home now, finished repotting my fruit tree and as I look at the bag it says for in ground use not for containers!!!!If in store personnel are going to be useless or provide wrong information I am better off shopping online.The week before I went to the same Home Depot to buy a electric drill, there was no one around to assist me in selecting one and I could not find what I had in mind so I went home and bought one on Amazon.Just noticed today the succulent plant I got a week ago and I have not watered yet has signs of overwatering....

Always great deals

Went to garden center only. Aisles were overstocked with items which made it difficult to social distance and move around. Plants were way over watered. Only had one lovely lady checking us out at 11:30 in the morning.

Apparantly this location is not following much of the social distance guidelines it looked like last years black Friday. The management here needs to enforce it more and start limiting customers, I couldnt even stay there longer then a minute. I wish I could have taken pictures.
