A Trustworthy and Great Mechanic.I had some serious issues with my brakes on my 2000 Camry (unable to depress the brake pedal without significant force) and I took it somewhere else first. They said that they would flush the brake line and replace all the brakes to see if that would fix it. After the work was finished the brakes were still as hard as a rock to depress and they said they could replace the master cylinder for another $700 and hopefully that would fix the problem. It seemed fishy to me so I left and went to Costa Mesa Brake. Met Bill for the first time and when I told him the issue and what the other mechanic said, he said that was hogwash - the real trouble was the Power Brake Booster. There was nothing wrong with my master cylinder. Fixing the Power Brake Booster was a few hundred dollars less than what I was quoted by the other guys and this really fixed the problem. Bill had my car completed within the same day and now the brakes work like normal and I didnt throw money away throwing darts at a possible solution. Bill knows his stuff and I would recommend this shop to anyone. It has been a week since the work was done and I really felt compelled to write this postie review so that others can have confidence in choosing this shop for your auto repairs.

I was given Bills # by a trusted mechanic. They did a great, fast AND reasonable job on the front end of my truck. I have really never had such a good experiences with other mechanics. I will be back if I need to for other jobs, Im sure!

So I had initially put on here a 5 star review because I thought they had great customer service and work.......so a week later after driving my car nothing has changed. The day of even I didn’t notice any difference except my van didn’t shake after 60mph. I expected an alignment, rotation & balance. I don’t feel I received any of it. I’m upset and want this fixed. My van still pulls very heavily to the right and my tires are still roaring. If you want my 5 stars back, fix it or I’ll go to better business bureau plus dispute the charge. I don’t want to be proven even more right for being skeptical of mechanics.......

Called a few shops in the area for alignment quotes for my outback! This place was competitive so gave them a try. Great service and the guy took his time to make sure everything was perfect. The steering wheel is dead strait which Im very picky about. Thanks for the great job.

I was so impressed with Bill at Cost Mesa Brakes & Alignment. My brakes started grinding so I knew it was time to get them fixed. I set an appointment up with Kymberlyn whom was so friendly and professional. They were able to get me in right away and take care of replacing my brakes. Overall, I was really impressed by how friendly and professional they were, I would highly recommend them, they are absolutely amazing!

This place is AWESOME!Went in for an alignment, wheel stud replacement, and tire rotation and left with exactly that. My vehicle is almost 30 years old and apparently the previous owner hadnt done an alignment in some time -_- ... But despite the difficulty, the extra time spent, and the obstacles that arose during the job, I paid the QUOTED PRICE. What a relief and surprise.I cannot believe how much work my car was and they did not even try to hassle me for more money. Bill was knowledgable, friendly, straight-shooter kind of guy.. Even the front desk lady (wish I knew her name!) stayed after her shift just to ring me up.I left with exactly what I came in for. My truck drives SO much better, really I cannot be happier with this place. I would highly recommend to any of my friends, family, and YOU!

May 2020, Bill has retired, after over 30 years... I cant vouch for the guys that took over.

You know how everyone wishes they had a family member they can trust work on their cars? This is the place. Bill has been my guy for 25 years, always honest, and always fair. I will be sending my daughter to him when she is old enough.
