I was able to walk in and quickly be assisted with very friendly staff! I needed a oil change and fluid top and someone able to fit me in the next day. My favorite place! I usually I come in for oil changes because theyre close to my work. But theyre not just conveniently located, they are one of the best around! Theyve worked on my vehicles tune up, fixed my transmission problems and replaced my brakes. They are honest and thorough in explaining exactly whats going on with your vehicle. When you pick your car up, they give you a rundown on your cars current health as well as observations they noticed for future visits. Everyone is so warm and friendly! :)

Very honest and straightforward person.I went in with what I thought was a transmission problem. The technician diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. I had 3 broken engine mounts and my car was ready for pick up the next day. The final bill was the total they initially quoted. Everyone was really nice and friendly. Great team! I found myself having to look for a new mechanic nearby when my car wouldnt start one morning. Since I needed it to be done quickly I just did some basic research online and found this place. Sooo glad I did. Really did a great job with the Prius I had. I had a check engine light on, and these guys took care of it in like 15 minutes. I was amazed. I have a 2010 Prius, and they even took the time to explain a bunch of stuff and show me what was going on with my EKG valve. I brought in my 2014 GMC truck and they took care of my tailgate too.

I had a very good experience getting my ABS replaced here. The owner is very knowledgeable about Hybrids, quite helpful and honest. I don’t know anything about cars but he was kind enough to take the time and explain what needed to be fixed. They fixed my car in a few hours and I was on my way home, and my car has been perfect ever since. I definitely recommend this auto shop specially if you have a problem with your hybrid. It also cost me half as much getting it fixed at the dealership.

What a great place!! If you have a Pruis and need honest good work come on over I needed a ABS pump done and they took care of it for me they also let me know my 12v battery was getting old and had a new one installed I drove 1hr 30mins to come here and if I need any other repairs in the future I will be back.

The dealership try to sell me a new hybrid battery for $4,600 luckily, i found Sam Auto on craigslist and paid total of $1,000 (installation, reprogramming included )I purchased the hybrid battery about 5 or 6 months ago and no issues or concerns, thank you Sam Auto! I was able to save money and keep the car instead of buying a new one. 5 Stars ! Happy customer. At first the owner (Kourosh) gave me a low price and once I got there he changed his word and raised the price. They advertise low price just to get you in and they’ll come up with all kinds of excuse to jack up the price $$ on you. My husband dealt with Mike. We changed the battery on our 2010 Prius and the battery that was sold to my husband was defective. All of this happened a few weeks before my husband and I moved to the east coast for work -military. We took it in three times in a month’s period because the job wasn’t done correctly. Immediately after picking up the car for the last time and two days before starting our trip, my husband said he could still hear a noise like something was loose. He called Mike to inform him but he said we would need to leave the car again. We were out of time. The car is in terrible condition now. The hybrid eco mode doesn’t work at all and it rattles all the time. After talking to another guy here in Maryland and getting the error code, we found out it’s a defective battery pack. Every auto repair place around keeps telling us that the battery should still be under warranty since this only happened 6 months ago. It would be nice if we were still in California so Mike could rectify what he did, even though he already got three shots at it. Now we are facing spending more money to get another battery, after being ripped off. Without these reviews, people wouldn’t know any better. That is why, I’d advise anyone to go somewhere else where they took your money seriously and save yourself some stress.

I would give them half a star if I could came to my house to supposably replaced the battery. Charged me $100 just to come out. The battery went bad in 2 weeks. He said dont worry drive it anyway But you have to come out here hes more than 60 miles away.I did then have a chance to take it out there till much later . It Took me 2 hours to drive, 2 hours to wait, wait 3 hours to drive back.I took it out there supposedly he fixed it... 2 weeks later all the lights were on up again ...he would not come to my house I wouldnt dare drive it that far and I couldnt get a tow and the battery is still in disrepair. And he will not stand by it. So basically he charged me $795 to not fix the car

!! WARNING !! FRAUD!! I WON in Small Claims Court suing Sam Auto Hybrid - photos attached of Judgement. The Judge ORDERED Sam Auto Hybrid to pay restitution of $2348 for 1)faulty hybrid battery they sold me and installed in my Prius 2) travel expenses because of out of state breakdown and 3) new hybrid battery purchased from WA State Toyota Dealership. Michael Salehi and Kourosh Jalapour charged me $600 for their defective hybrid battery AND $100 for a new 12 V battery, so we were awarded over 3Xs that amount. I proved to the Judge how Sam Auto defrauds unsuspecting customers with their so called rebuilt batteries. Their deficient hybrid batteries are NO accident or mistake - THEIR DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES are no joke! I also showed the Judge documentation of how this business gives a $50 discount to customers who are willing to post a positive online reviews. The Judge ordered restitution for the hotel / travel expenses we incurred (Sams hybrid battery died after a ONE month, 1500 mile road trip to WA), AND a portion of the new hybrid battery cost incurred from the WA Toyota Dealer. If you need ANY help in filing your Small Claims Court papers, message on Yelp and Ill help you (youll see the review under their business name). Ill send over all of my completed court forms and info you will need to win your case. It wont take much - the reputation of Sam Auto business practices will practically win your case against them. Just be sure to keep ALL documentation to present to the court. BUY YOUR REBUILT BATTERY SOMEWHERE ELSE unless you want to get stranded OR spend months on a Small Claims filing. Its been two full months since the Judgement was issued and neither Michael Salehi or Kourosh Jalapour have yet to pay me the Court Judgement. **As an updated side note, I had to buy a NEW 12 V battery this month, as the 12 Volt battery that Michael sold me, DIED after 5 months! Another fraudulent practice by Sam Auto Hybrid... Michael told me that I had to replace the 12V battery when he replaced the hybrid battery. BEWARE!!!!!

My Prius gave me the red triangle of death and I was devastated! I thought I would have to spend thousands of dollars to replace my hybrid battery and be out of a car for days... until I called Sam Auto. Their staff was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong. They quoted me a price less than half of what I was getting from others nearby and they included a 2-year warranty. I was in and out of there in LESS THAN 1-HOUR!!Also, I let them know that I had trouble unscrewing my oil filter last time I changed my oil, and I asked if that was bad for my car. They offered to give me a new oil filter and install it for me FOR FREE!Oh and by the way, while I was waiting, they were so hospitable. They offered me home cooked food that one of their moms made earlier, they offered me beverages and just made me feel at home.I’ve never had an experience this good at any establishment, let alone a mechanic shop! I wish I could give 6 stars!

I found this place on a Craigslist ad as I had my 2011 Prius Inverter failed and started getting all kind of error messages such as Hybrid system failed, triangle with exclamation mark, check engineI call Mike, the owner, and he gave me a really good deal to replace my inverter compared to other places I visited and called.I brought in my car early next morning, he gave me FREE inspection, and he got my inverter changed in 30 min! Also he was super nice and very helpful as he checked all my other stuff such as oil change, refilled my engine fluid for FREE and very good deal on Synthetic oil change.Very friendly, humble, passionate about the job, and an amazing guy. No wait at all;)Lastly, his mechanics are amazing guys that get the job done right away!!!Love this place, will always visit here for any service needed. I highly recommend it for anyone that needs a good HONEST repair shop.

STAY AWAY !! They replaced my hybrid battery and it died next day (with 2 years warranty). Charged me $100 for Service Trip. Trying to blame on something else on the car. Michael also broke a wire while installing the battery that made the ABS light stay on. The price seems to be good, but doesnt worth the hassle. I used another company located in Yorba Linda, CA. They came over and charged me $200 for the Service Trip. Total price was higher than SAMs, but totally worth it. I paid with CCard and was able to dispute the charge with the bank.

I live in Grover Beach, 4 hours away from Sam Auto Hybrid, They drove all the way up to fix my 2004 Prius hybrid battery. Took them less than an hour and my prius works great! They also didnt make me wait, they got back to me quickly, and fixed my car in no time. They also give you a warranty on their work. I would definitely use them again for any hybrid battery issue!

Michael is incredible at what he does. We would have been without a car for a while if it wasnt for his speedy service, and driving to our location. He saved our Saturday and our wallet. He even stayed and made sure my mother approved of the work he did. I will only be using Michael for my Prius needs.
