We heard good things.The food is amazing, the service is great. We chose to sit inside and got an appetizer, entrees, a dessert and some drinks. Everything was made wonderfully. The food was fantastic. And you get a lot for your money. A rare thing in this area. Our server was fun and funny . My overall experience was perfect.

It was a fabulous experience! The waiter who served me with the best wine was friendly, knowledgeable, and makes some really delicious wines. I went home with three bottles! The bar has a gift shop too filled with adorable and affordable things. I can’t wait to go back and taste the sweetness of wine again.

I love coming here to grab drinks, grub, and play a few games. The staff is always friendly. The atmosphere of this place is great and inviting. They also have a fun ! This bar also shares the historical presence of the building which is fun to read about!

Big fan of this bar. The space is very fun, and the drinks are crazy affordable, especially at happy hour. Happy hour is also really convenient. Small, but good beer selection, too.Trivia night is fun and mellow.The later music/DJ scene isnt my thing, so I do cut out when that happens.

Its been years since Ive moved from Costa Mesa but I was talking about Kitch the other night and wanted to be sure I gave it a review. More than anything, its just a cool place. Its welcoming and the crowd is both diverse and 100% chill. The drinks are fantastic. Im not normally a craft drink guy but here you have to try them all. Service is outstanding. Very friendly and professional. They also always have DJs that play great music without that look at me Im a DJ goofiness. Extra points for all the kitch on the walls. Sadly, Im old so I knew most of the items from first-hand use when they first came out but it is what it is. But even as the old guy in the room, I never felt out of place. Great bar. Great people. Great vibe.

Bartender shorted me $5. I didnt notice till after he left. $3 beer, I paid with a $20 and gave a $2 tip. I should have $15 left in my wallet. Partially my fault, I assumed one of the 5s he gave me was a 10 when I dealt off the $2 tip. Not a lot of $, but the situation left enough of a bad taste to never go there again. Environment is nice though, I liked the seating; very small location, but comfortable. Try it if youre close, if you just need a drink theres a liquor store in the same plaza. It might work as a meeting spot as an alternative to Starbucks. Count your pennies and watch your receipt if youre on a budget; that goes for everywhere, especially here.

Great bar. Chill vibe. Cool game night on Wednesday. Great deep house on fridays. Good cocktails. Nice and helpful bartenders. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Costa Mesa.

Mellow bar with a cool set up. drinks are fine and well priced but the music the DJ plays can definitely be changed. was putting me to sleep last time i was there and too many hipsters.

DO NOT GO HERE, the bartender roofied my roommate and I. Cannot even call to speak with a manager since the number is disconnected. They do not respond to emails as well. Best bet, stay away unless you want to end up in the hospital. Police Report has been created, no one else should have to go through what we went through.

Went on a Sunday. Really was excited to find a new watering hole in Costa Mesa. Brittany made a killer craft cocktail. The prices are reasonable and the place is clean. Will definitely go again!

Best ramen Ive had in awhile. If there was one thing I could redo while i was there it would be to order more charshu pork. That pork was AMAZING. Definitely the best Ive ever had. Bit of a small place but I would go back again if I ever crave ramen.

Trendy spot which is tucked away inside of a shopping center. I guess this place is going for hipster dive bar because it is a bit of both. Worst thing about this place is the smell. They have carpet installed which is likely one source of the problem. Maybe its the bathroom... Either way, youre getting that terrible smell.

Drinks are cheap and the vibe is always positive. Bartenders are cool and door men are chill. Never too crowded and plenty of chairs and booths around the dance area to relax in.

This place is a hidden gem. Great music, fairly priced drinks, nice staff, and trivia nights on Tuesdays are a blast. This is my favorite bar in OC. If only they had a patio, it would be the perfect bar.

This is a great place to come with a group of friends for Trivia Night on Tuesdays. They have great prizes, and the whole bar plays along. Their host for trivia night also picks a lot of interesting topics for trivia, and he is very entertaining.Whats nice, is they usually have drink specials, specifically bottles of beer for only $3.

I went to this place with my boyfriend on Sunday 4/8/18. I ordered one Moscow Mule and he ordered one beer. We both gave the bartender our cards. My boyfriend decided to pay cash for both of our drinks and the bartender told him it was $25. Guess what, we both got charged each of our drinks on our cards (which my one drink was only $5.97 and his was around $4). We believe the bartender pocketed the $25 cash. We tried to call the phone number listed on Yelp and their page but that number is disconnected! I caution anyone that goes there to watch out and pay attention to the bartender!! I would like to talk to a manager regarding that night!!

A truly local spot for me. Kitsch is a tiny spot, but always full of personality and character. Reasonable drink prices, and love music nose nights and weekends. From DJs spinning to local pianist.

Confident karaoke singers were entertaining. But there was a certain smell that made us leave early.

Cool and quaint in a non description neighborhood is what makes this place standout. Inside the place is where the character really pops.

This is one of those places Id never just go to out of the blue.It is located adjacent to one of my favorite restaurants in Costa Mesa called Manpuku.This bar doesnt really have anything wrong with with, but im not going to drive from riverside just for some nondescript bar in a strip mall.I will say that they have real bartenders that make fresh real drinks and there is a really nice ambiance about the place. The beer selection is a little weak. But the ones they do have are nice and cold!!I will be back and if you live in the area, I do recommend doing this placeUntil next time....

Place was semi-empty on a Sunday night...and the wait to place drink orders was unnecessary. The atmosphere is good and the layout reminds me of a posh dive bar that you would find in Silverlake or the Valley (LA references).

I love the Kitsch Bar. Great atmosphere to have a drink and relax. The dark lighting and large amount of seating with DJ on the weekend makes for a nice change from your typical bar in OC. I would highly recommend checking out the Kitsch Bar.

Kitsch-I kitsch-I ya ya da daKitsch-I kitsch-I yay a heeMaybe that one was a stretch, but you certainly won’t hear that music here. It’s a lounge right? We sort of. It’s an Orange County Lounge and by that it’s like Mesa, Commissary also nearby and similar scene.The truth of the matter is that Orange County lacks a club scene so all the lounges try and capitalize and vibe more with DJ’s and they end up doing neither well. With that being said it’s also true that OC lacks real lounges and whiskey bars, just places trying to be a little of everything.It’s on the small side for a standalone, but tucked in this strip mall it’s chill, intimate. It’s dark, it’s a good place for people to unwind with a cheap beer or a strong drink (not a cocktail). Trivia night is what people really get into. We get it, you like to drink nerdy, but don’t like to discuss or argue. It’s the old “google” mentality. Steer clear. I dig the HH, but am more of a cocktail and whiskey sort of lounger and more of a craft beer and fire pit sort of relaxer.The music is eclectic based on who is playing, but it’s mostly EDM to match the closet hipsters who come here to hide while their mustache grows out. The staff are nice, engaging even, no draught so bottle beer only. The drinks are good, but lack the ingredients for real cocktails. I believe the bartenders are so engaging because the people who come here are pretty closed off and keep to themselves, as in bring your own entertainment and friends as you won’t make one’s here. I mean I do, but lots of people strike out. It can get loud making it un-loungy. With each night being a different vibe it’s like a different bar each night. The single rolling lounge chairs are strip club-esque no matter how you light the tables. Single stall bathrooms are a log jam literally.It’s a chill escape if OC’s pseudo clubs are not your scene and dive bars don’t do it for you. I highly recommend playing nice with the staff and they often hook it up for the regulars.
