I very much enjoy this store - it is my happy place. The store has great square footage and with that a good spectrum of various products. I absolutely love working with Teresa (highly recommended), who is very professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuine. Overall, I find my shopping experience here to be well aligned with the prestige that Hermes brand/heritage is known for.
My wife and I enjoy Hermès in general but this store in particular. We frequent South Coast Plaza and shop at all of the the luxury options available but this Hermes has proven to be the best experience with a wonderful SA and a solid selection of items for myself along with my wife. Overall this is a great store/shopping experience - Highly recommended.

Staff here are not the most pleasant but what’s the big deal? It’s just material things in the end. Came here for some SLG and waited about an hour before we even got helped. If you want Hermès things, you’re better off buying their stuff in France. Staff here are condescending and straight up rude.
We are tourist out of state and just want to visit the store because we don’t have Hermes store in our state. We was waiting for more than an hour, first in line, and no customer in store. However, they don’t let us in and nobody ask us anything, we feel unwelcome so we decided to leave after 6 hours travel plus 1 hour wait.It’s such as bad experience. DON’T recommend this.
Staffs were not friendly and pretty intimidating. They never have enough stuffs in stock and variety of what you want. Staffs were not even passionate about their stuffs. The whole experience just destroyed my love and curiosity learning more about the brand. As a person who spent a lot with the brand at this store, I am pretty disappointed. They always told you that only 1 person allowed to be in the store at a time but they let other customers in as couples. The store manager was not even smiled or said hi to you.
Rude !!! We made reservation! I drove an hour to get there. They said that you had to mention the reservation is for 2. That option was not given over the phone ☎️ Very disappointing
This store is by appointment only now. Then I made an appointment 4 days ago and I wanna reschedule it. But the staff didn’t pick up my call and answered 6 hours later via text. That’s why I cancel my appointment. Their customer service is very rude. I’ll never visit again.

By appointment only now, but the staff will ask you to go around to the street entrance. The service has really failed here, it once was staffed w/extremely knowledgeable and friendly sales associates, now they are just aloof and rude. I was asked if there was anything I was looking for in particular, by a security guard, I stipulated I just wanted to browse and they immediately proceeded to tell me I wasnt welcome.I will not advocate this store to anyone, ever.I have been a long standing customer of this house for far too long. I still love Hermès, but this store can go pound sand.Note: Manager you may look up my account status to see the type of customer you just lost by having a rude security guard be your gate keeper. I wanted to buy some items for my girls but was not welcomed. Van Cleef and Arpels was conveniently close.
Worst service from Naomi in my 5-year Hermès shopping experience. Naomi sounds like a Korean, but she seems like very discrimination to other Asians, even if we are Asians as well. We go to the store on time for our appointment and she told us that we only have 30 min for the appointment, which is totally fine. But when we ask her to show us more things around, she kept saying “sorry we only have 30 mins” but actually we still have 15 min left and we may just need 5 min to make the purchase. We are wondering if Naomi is the typical standard service from Hermès and we cannot understand what she is proud of, maybe she owns the store? Finally she kicked us to the front door, and make sure we left on time. So suggestion is go purchase with other agent, SKIP Naomi. See if the store manager or anyone will reply to my message.

We went to the store to purchase a crossbody bag for my wife. The store wasn’t busy and the sales associates were standing around doing nothing while no one acknowledged us. After about 5 to 8 minutes a lady approached us and we told her we would like to see the bag. After asking her for different color choices she told us she only had one color in the store and kept telling us that was the best seller. The question is, if that’s the best seller how come you don’t have the other colors in the store? We left ending up buying the same bag in San Francisco. The sales person was great and very professional. Big difference in service.

I bought the Apple Watch Hermes - 38mm Capucine Swift Leather Double Tour - Regular for my mother for her birthday on July 12, 2016 from Apple. Although it was pricey my siblings and I wanted to get her something nice so we chipped in for this watch band. It lasted maybe 8 months before is started falling apart. We brought it into Apple and they said since it is an Hermes strap we need to take it to Hermes. After many calls and e-mails and taking the strap to the Hermes in Costa Mesa, the Hermes company says it is a result of wear and tear. I understand wear and tear over time maybe 2 years or 3 years. However, for a strap to begin falling apart after 8 months when we spent $490 because of wear and tear is ridiculous. What makes it worse is that neither Apple nor Hermes are willing to stand by the product. I think it is a little unfair for a $490 product to last 8 months but that is just my opinion and you can take it for what it is worth. I do understand that this is not the fault of the Hermes store at South Coast Plaza or the employees however, for everyone to put the decision on corporate in Paris is not fair to the customer.
The cost is crazy and for what the same material you can but in a Nordstrom or jc pennys wow people and there money. Lol

An Old Asian Lady is really the worst representative Ive ever met. I cant believe how Hermes could even employ a staff like her. Very RUDE, SNOB, dont ask if she even smile, she stand with her chin up, showed an annoyed face when she was asked a question. I walked in not asking to be served at all, I do not expecting a customer service, just a nice manner is good enough. I wish I had video camera to show the world how Hermes could allow such no-manner person represent its company. This was yesterday, Aug 21, 2012 around 8pm. After that I went to Saks Fifth, where I received a welcoming service, and ended up buying a Celine Bag there.PS: I have to give good review on quality and appeal just to be able to publish the review

If I could give this Hermes store one star - I would. My rating revolves entirely around their repair / after-sales process (or lack thereof !), which is archaic and ridiculous. Having turned in two bracelets approx. 4 months ago for repair - we confirmed just one repair in-person (rather then two) a week after initial drop-off. Fast forward 4 months, I just called today check on pick-up etc. to learn they have not even started the repair. They claimed they were emailing me - they were - to the wrong email address though they have my correct email address clearly written on the after-sales service receipt (they were even reading back the email address incorrectly to me on telephone though they have the original receipt with correct email address). They also claimed to have called me several times - I got no VM. With no VMs I naturally am presuming no calls were made. So after 4 months of waiting, they asked if they should go ahead and repair - though this was confirmed in person with them 4 months prior! OMG - why bother with Hermes? Apparently, they will try to rush my repair through - hopefully only 3 months - for gluing a bangle !!! So to all of us Hermes fans (or at least, former Hermes fans in my case) - Think carefully before you buy! If you require a repair / after-sales service, then I suggest you reset your expectations - as you are bound for a frustrating almost laughable and arduous experience.
Came to the store as was traveling fromnY and was short a bag. Showed them the receipt but they refused to help. What is the use if the brand cannot trust you even after showing them their receipt of the 15 products I just purchased from them.
If only I was an independently wealthy woman, I would go hog wild in here. Beyond the obvious quality of their products, the staff is friendly, composed, and quite helpful.
