Great little coffee shop owned by a small family!Serves great quality coffee and excellent avocado toast. Their avocado toast is also cheaper than most places with around 5-6$ plus they have a sweet toast with seasonal jam which is to die for.Other than that this is definitely a great place to get a snack or have a breakfast date with your significant other!

Neat Coffee is responsible for the mess in the backseat of my car. On any given day, theres a mound of dead soldiers marked with Neats signature a-ok insignia, splashes of their elixirs so lovingly brewed, lipstick stains that speaks to the passion behind my every gulp. Im addicted to this coffee, so much so that the word coffee seems insufficient when describing the alchemy that goes into every cup. I love that Neat features a rotating lineup of local and nationally-celebrated roasters. That said, you must start your love affair with Neat by acquainting yourself with the drip coffee to truly taste the distinctive notes in these varying roasters crafts. Its revelatory that a cup of coffee can taste so good, especially if you order it with cream and sweetened with house simple syrup. Quality control is on-point here, so youre almost always certain to get the same, consistent cup despite whos pouring it. Additionally, Neat tends to brew well-rounded, chocolatey, nutty varieties of coffee; if you see the magic words Colombia or Peru, youre in for a real treat. This isnt a coffee shop that brews bitter or acidic roasts. The coffee is decadent and dessert-worthy every time, no matter where the beans come from in the US. Its dope that Neat leaves the roasting to the experts and celebrates the best out there-- while perfecting its own preparation and presentation. Kudos for sticking to what you know and not trying to do it all! I recently needed more of a kick in my life, so I ventured out of the box for an Americano and I can honestly say its the best version of this classic Ive ever had. Their espresso is superb, and again, paired with a baristas dosing of cream and simple syrup, translates to an almost-too-good-to-be-coffee morning time drink. Love the service and friendly vibes when truly, theyve earned snobby rights here, and Id return just the same. Lastly, Im not a vegan but the vegan donuts are awesome, so make sure to try one with your drip coffee and youll be hooked on Neat like me!

A friend of mine introduced me to different flavors of coffee which is addictive. I so love the taste. That made me wanted to go back here again. I also ordered the cold brew which is velvety smooth. All of them are at a very low cost compared to other equally delicious specialty coffee shops. The wooden tables are adequate and have a nice height for leisure or work. The barista also is very friendly and suggestive. Must try!

My absolute favorite coffee shop in the entire world! Neat Coffee truly puts so much thought into every detail—from the actual shop itself, to their food and beverages, to their customer service. Allie, the owner who you can often see working behind the bar, truly makes every single person who steps in there feel so special and taken care of. Every employee there follows her lead! They have a special flavor every month, but their basic menu is always wonderful to choose from. Their cook makes absolutely delicious food from pan con tomate to breakfast burritos. This is my go-to spot to relax, get work done, or meet up with a friend!

Go here to support a good cause, but don’t go for the coffee (unless you like bitter or extra roasted, you might like it then). I thought the price seemed reasonable, but then realized the regular cup is literally smaller than my hand.Parking lot is really rough and very little inside seating. Super cute spot though.

My first time here and I will definetly be back. They make their own in house monthly syrup flavors. I had a latte with the monthly flavor coconut chai. It was delicious and the atmosphere was inviting and chill. Exactly what I was hoping for on my Sunday morning. From the outside, you would not know it was a coffee shop, I actually drove past and had to turn around. Glad I did.

A newer, more upscale coffee shop in westside Costa Mesa. Good coffee, a nice younger crowd and some delightful pastry treats to go along. It is perhaps a result of the newer condo complexes going in along Placenta, part of the recent gentrification of the westside. It is a sizeable space with bar seating, small boothish areas and a large wood community table that could sit maybe 10-12 off to one side. The table is good for small group meetings if there are not a number of individuals already seated around it. My wife and I particularly enjoyed their lattes. There are a number of top end coffee shops in Costa Mesa. We are thinking Neat Coffee may find itself among them.

What a place.Lets start of with the basics: Yes, they serve a good cup of coffee among a menu of other equally delicious items. They also tend to have some Rye Goods treats available if you are looking for a morning snack, but what I appreciate most of all, on top of the good coffee, is that its an incredible space. Its much warmer feeling than your typical coffee house experience, and I could sit here all day. This is a must-stop if you are looking for that fresh, new, delicious coffee spot to add to your list.

Neat coffee is a very cute little shop thats tucked away in a very business oriented location. While its difficult to find with little to no signs or even a store sign. It is one of the best coffee shops Ive been to, and Ive been to many. It easily makes my top 3 in Southern California with Stumptown and Philz taking the top two spots.Their special is called a Golden Latte, a light brew with honey and almond milk. What makes it unique is a dash of tumeric to give it a vibrant yellow hue, hence the Golden name.
