Absolutely divine. This place was recommended to us by two locals. I love the process of how you create your own bowl from rice to proteins to toppings to sauces. Everything was fresh and delicious. There was also outdoor seating set up which was a plus. I would absolutely visit this place again and recommended as well.

For my canned soda, 5 scoops of fish, and, bag of chips came around less than $20. Would definately come again and recommend my friends to enjoy this establishment.

Ive heard great things about this place so I wanted to try it. Its a really cute place and I love the vibe. I love the options they had available- even shrimp tempura (sadly its just one piece though). The toppings were great as well. You can get free avocado which is awesome, but it is a bit pricier than other poke places that Ive been to, so you get what you pay for.The fish tasted very fresh and thats what I loved about it. My only gripe is that I wish the sauce was more flavorful. I usually get the original and spicy mayo at every place but I think because it was just ponzu, it wasnt as wow to me.Honestly I would still probably come back! I love the plating and would love to try other items on the menu!

This is a great place. Just writing down what distinguishes it from other places. No extra charge for seaweed, avocado, or masago. They have some unique choices: steamed broccoli as a base, octopus as a protein, lime, cilantro. The price is right and the quality great. Will have to come back for healthy meal.

Best poke place around. I live in Fullerton but whenever we are in Costa Mesa we make it a point to stop and get poke here. They have so many good toppings and for my wife even have gluten-free options. Would definitely recommend it for anybody whos looking for some good poke.

Nice poke bowl shop offering lots of possible combinations. We were staying at the Hilton across the street so Uroko Cafe was a convenient stop for a quick bite. You can order online for pick-up if you dont want to wait in line to order; they also have tables set up outside if you want to eat there.

Never had poke before and frankly, never had raw fish either. So why did I eat here? To be honest, Im not sure either. Something beckoned me to try a poke bowl and I am glad I did! The ahi tuna was great and the bowl was very filling. The uroko sauce tastes amazing. For somebody who was too scared to eat raw fish, this was an excellent introduction to sushi for me. Would eat here again!Please open a location in Ridgecrest.

My first time going the was pretty good, I ordered a pokébowl with takoyaki and it was some of the best Ive ever had looking forward to going there again next time I get the chance. But would still recommend Uroko Cafe if youre in the area.

This place is on the pricier side I ordered a large poke bowl and it came out to $15. also when I was choosing toppings it was either edamame or corn I couldnt choose both even though I had opted out of crab meat and other fresh toppings they wouldnt let me get corn they said that was an extra price. customer service was not the best when I left I told the young girl thank you but she was too busy on her phone that she didnt respond

This place never disappoints. It has the freshest ingredients, a variety of protein choices, and the best service. Parking is in the back, easy and free. Its going to be a while before I come across something better. And believe me, I have tried several other places. Check it out!

This place is great. I only got a three scoop portion size of protein and that was very sufficient. There was a decent line when we arrived but it went by quickly. The service is good and quick. The place is clean and plays really chill music. I love spicy food and they made a mix for me that was both tasty and flavorful. Will come back again.

The poke bowl was wicked good and the portion and toppings was generous. Fish was fresh and wonderful. Terrific toppings and sauce options. Jalapenos had some heat, which is always nice. Great service. Outdoor seating with shade in the parking lot was above and beyond during covid.Free slabs of tuna and soda when we visited. That was a nice bonus, especially since they carry some unique soda flavors and tea.Japanese grocery store is next door, which is nice to check out too.

Shame on you guys for not supporting customer loyalty. My sister went all the time here to get food for her firm nearby. She collected 20 stamps = 2 free meals. Sometimes Id meet her here during her lunch break. With covid we stopped going here. Came back today and they dont accept the stamps anymore. Theres no fine print or expiration date on the cards. The manager said the cards are five years old which is impossible because my sister hasnt even been at the firm for 5 years. They said they could only give us $10 off...clearly my sister is a repeat customer with TWENTY stamps, they could not even honor it? That’s a minimum of $200 of a customer’s money if it’s just the smallest bowl per stamp. We wont be coming back and when the firm opens again, they wont be getting their business either.

I just want to shoutout Uroku for Serving us fresh food. We eat there about once a month in Costa mesa. As a Sushi lover its a great substitute for the high cost of fish these days. The employees are always really fast and kind. I just overall love this place. Anything bowl you get is going to be a tasty experience.

Overview: Uroko cafe is honestly my go to poke spot during lunch! The portions are HUMONGOUS for the price you pay in my opinion, but only when you go to the actual restaurant. I noticed for any delivery apps, such as doordash or postmates, they do charge a little bit more. But I work close by so it is not a problem for me. Usually during peak hours, there is a bit of a line, but never anything bad. They have a variety of toppings and sauces that really compliment the fresh fish! And let me tell you, they fill your plate to the brim! The restaurant is also very group friendly and pretty aesthetic for a poke joint! Really recommend this spot if you are craving poke and in the south coast metro area.

This place is a gem if you enjoy poke. Pricing is very reasonable at 8.50 for 2 scoops of protein, $10 for 3 scoops, or $12 for 5 scoops. These prices are including tax! Additionally, they offer complimentary imitation crabmeat and avocado or seaweed salad. Many other places charge extra for those. Presentation is nice as the food is served in a metal tray. There are a good variety of fish choices (protein) and other included toppings. Im interested in trying their milk teas on a future visit.

Well, after a few years of taking everyone I know here and ordering food for my company, I will be taking my business somewhere else. I collected over 20 reward stamps and today I went to redeem them. The cashier told me they would not honor the stamps because they switched over to an online rewards system over a year ago. That doesnt mean much to me since COVID put everything on shut down. There are a lot of places I havent gone to in over a year. The cashier offered to call her manager, but the manager said they would only take $10 off my current purchase. That doesn’t even cover the value of one complete reward card. The manager said that was the best they could do given the stamps “were over 5 years old.” There is no fine print on the rewards card on when to redeem by. Otherwise, I would’ve redeemed the earlier cards first. I’ve collected a few full stamp cards over the years. I would order company lunches on Uroko when they were on Doordash/Postmates and even continued to order pick-up when they were no longer on those delivery platforms. Ive brought a lot of people and orders to Uroko and I will take that elsewhere.

This poke place has great options - salmon, yellowtail, albacore, etc. spicy crabmeat, seaweed salad or avocado, masago. Salad is usually more fresh and less wilted than other places.

We live in Huntington Beach and when were wanting poke we make the short freeway trek to Uroko for what we think is the best poke in Orange County. Theyve changed up the menu recently (I think?) but its still awesome. Always fresh, choice of proteins are great. We usually go for the spicy stuff - proteins and sauces. Great choices of toppings, huge portion at a decent price; will continue to come here for our poke fix.

Excellent build your own poke. I like brown rice, spicy crab, spicy tuna, fresh salmon, no onions nor cucumbers nor crispy onions, yes to edamame, green onion, garlic. Then I choose the house sauce and sesame sauce, not spicy mayo.

Love this place. Really good quality poke, good quantity, and all for a pretty good price. I am a little disappointed at the pricing changes they made. The prices went up a bit but I believe more is included in that price now too. Overall still a good deal foe some really good food.

Uroko Cafe always has fast service. Its my favorite poke bowl place in OC. Theres lots of options to choose from and I enjoy that its a quick stop if Im in a rush.

2 years ago Uroko was a shining beacon of poke in the area, now there are Poke places on almost every corner but Uroko is keeping pace.A bit too much heat on mine (requested moderate) but still very fresh and very good. Outdoor seating in this small strip of restaurants makes it easy to enjoy what you want if friends want to try any of the 6 or so other restaurants in the building.

Try poke salmon or any food good taste nice service BEAUTIFUL Mexican young ladies nice guy too.

Great lunch area to eat poke! One of the good poke places around. Their fish is good/fresh and if youre a toppings kinda gal/guy then this is the poke place for you!! Price is reasonable : Small $8 for 2 proteins, Medium $10 for 3 proteins, Large $12 for 5 proteins. They have a miso soup dispenser near the soda machines too. I would definitely come back if I was working in the area again!

Good price, fish and toppings always seem fresh. Sometimes they put too much sauce on the fish, but its generally okay. Seaweed salad is extra, but they do have a good variety of other toppings. Staff is super friendly and takeout is really easy and convenient. They also recently got one of those hipster soda fountains if thats your thing.

By far my favorite poke place in the area! The prices are great, the fish is very fresh, and the flavors are really well balanced. Your dollar really stretches here with the amount of toppings you can choose from and the portion size.

Maybe it was just the guy making my bowl, but every single scoop he took he would pour half of it back into the container, even if it was already level. When I pay $12 for a bowl I would expect that a scoop would actually mean a scoop, and not like 5 pieces of edamame. Good food, but worth the price? Not so sure

If youre a pole bowl fan & even if youre not, UROKO is a must! Located on Bristol Street Costa Mesa, the food is incredibly fresh & super tasty. A ton of beautifully crafted food from around $9 bucks. My all-time fave in the area. Trust me!
