We have stopped twice once dinner and one breakfast. Both time waitress staff was excellent. Food was good, breakfast portion, very good. Dinner portion were a little small. Really good coffee.. All an all thumbs up.

Diesel desk needs better cashier 06/25/01 afternoon shift cashier was walking to the TA loyalty program computer with a gay and she almost make me almost louse my balance. Then I was waiting to pay some stuff and she never cares about me 8 minutes take me to I decided to live everything then she asked me but was to late.

Zero customer service relations. Came into middle of the the night for trailer tire. They told me to wait we give you a call, but never call me back till 7 hrs later till I went back to them and ask what’s the problem! They told me road call service yada yada but lying through the whole time! Lack of mechanics, poor customer service, long hrs of wait bad attitude towards customers. I wouldn’t recommend no one to this place TA Is really falling apart someone need to change this management!

T/A should follow Loves example and update their facility, and parking lots. I rather park and drive on gravel lot then this happy axle brake.

I was informed by the lady at the counter that overnight parking is not allowed if you aren’t in a semi. So, I’m an expediter. Still drive OTR, still drive all day, still just as exhausted as they are. But they can park overnight and I can’t. OHHHH unless I pay to park. Gotcha. Won’t spend a single red penny here. Ever.

All prices are truckstop high14$ for a dirty showers+ To get all package, you get awful parking pavement and management doesnt do their job at all...Sorry wont stop again anytime soon...

The mechanics here will tell you it will be 1 hour then after 4 hours they get nothing done

The most disgusting TA Ive ever been in! The bathrooms,showers, and store is just nasty. Doesnt look like theyve been cleaned in years. Where is upper management?

Its a place to stop and take a 10 hour break but I dont recommend using the shop or eating at the restaurant here. I stopped @ 9AM, went into the shop and scheduled a PM right away then set the appointment time for 5PM. Never received a call at appointed time. Called the shop @ 5:15PM only to be told that the night shift hadnt arrived yet but they should be in soon. Was told the mechanic is usually never this late coming in. Why is he late at all?!?! Poor work ethic!! Now its 6:45PM, still no call and I have to get on the road soon, leaving no time for my PM to be done. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!The restaurant (Country Pride) here is just as bad. Order eggs over easy, they come out well done. Toast with no butter? NOPE! You get butter, like it or not. Bacon crispy in the center of the strip but damn near raw on the ends. Why does TA allow this? Screw the truckers, as long as we make our money!!Never coming back here! Better off at Speedco or Boss Shop to get my maintenance done.

Just shut it down. I thought the TA in Battle Creek, MI was the worst, but this tops it. Restaurant is closed, everything is dirty, service is terrible. It would be better served as a parking lot.

Worst TA staff in America, Staff is unprofessional and rude with inventory out of date and store unkempt.

Our truck waited for more than 4 hours for some incompetent guy try to plug their computer into the ELD to see what is the problem. When we asked them what will the amount of money will be to fix our truck they told us 183.49 and if we dont pay immediately they will black list our guy since he objected regarding the competence of their staff and since we wanted the truck back on the road as soon as possible we paid. Few minutes after they told the driver that we paid for the diagnosis only and asked him to leave. What would you call that?

Went for an oil change. Basic oil change. They told me it was going to be about 2 hours before they can start, which is not that bad. They called after almost 5 hours. Got in a Bay and started waiting. It took over 2 hours for a simple oil change. Nothing complicated. The reason I don’t mind giving them 1 start (even if google makes you give at least one star) is because they were all fairly polite and professional. But that’s where the good things stop. Wouldn’t go there again even if I have to do it myself.

I recently ate at this restaurant and my time there was very unpleasant, The restaurant was kind of dirty, my food took forever and my food was burnt and kind of cold. I complained to one of the managers I believe his name was David and he was So rude to me and my family. I was so upset I honestly don’t think I’ll ever eat there again!!

First I want to say this TA deserves zero stars on this review, unfortunately I don’t have that option. Because you’re too lazy to clean your showers. I had to start my clock an hour earlier just so I could drive down to Pilot, (a truckstop who actually cares about their drivers) to take a shower. Showers are “essential“ for truck drivers. I will never give this TA any of my business, other than to tie up a parking spot. Maybe you should start actually caring about the drivers.

We had an issue with a tire, called in ahead & were told they had the tire we needed in stock. We arrived & then had to wait two hours for the only tech capable of changing the tire. Three hours later the tech arrived & told us they didnt have the tire we needed. THREE HOURS we were made to wait only to be told we cant help you! TERRIBLE customer service!

Bio garbage is poured instead of diesel. pumps fuel into the tank for a long time.

Showers have nooooo vents in them/ very hot and foggy but water pressure is good. Waited 2-3 hrs to get called into a bay to get oil change. They have one tv monitor on opposite side of store where the showers are on completely other side and it’s literally above the kiosk to book the shower. Very old / rundown place ! Seems like they could move things around to make them more convenient for drivers ! And have a easier set up !

The service here is absolutely impeccable. Our server was David. He was helpful. He was accommodating. He was friendly. The food was very very good. They have a very nice salad bar that comes with meals. There is something for everybody on it including fruit and pudding. The restrooms were very clean. All of the rest of the staff that I talked with were also very friendly.

Went in for the all you can fish on Friday’s, and had Laura as my server. I have rave reviews about her! Greatest server I’ve ever had at a TA restaurant. Highly recommend sitting in her section! Thank you so much for a pleasant experience! Pay her more money!!

Older facility however layout is good. Truck parking lot needs work which includes better lighting. One of the few locations that still has a Country Pride Restaurant.

3 weeks ago stopped in to have a break can replaced, checked in was told 2-3 hour wait. I thought no problem, 8 hours after checking in I got in the shop. I thought this might be an isolated case so when I need a service I decided to give them another chance. Clearly this is a great mistake. Checked and again was told 2-3 hours wait and it has been 6 and now they know how long. Never ever again! Dont bring your truck here for work!

Been sitting at the shop since 11:45 this morning and it is now 9:30 pm and have still not even started on repairs. They say call out has priority plus skeleton crew of mechanics on weekends. The last time I was here took 12 hrs. and I thought this might be an isolated incident. WRONG!!!! Good place to start a Truck Stop!!!

It took over 14hrs to get my truck in this shop for a tire change& for me to be rolling again. 14 HOURS. & they’re horrible with telling drivers how long the wait will be since they initially said 2hr& then when I called 5hr later it was still 2hr. Never coming to this TA again. Might avoid TA in general from now on tbh, Pilot/FJ has the best in app deals anyways& better fuel rewards.

Overall a good store, restaurant and employees. Is it possible to repaint the parking space lines? To accommodate the new breed of drivers that cant park in less than 1 space without them.🙄

The worst, it’s 40 degrees outside and the water in the shower is barely look warm. If your looking for a shower don’t stop here, go to the Sapp Bros or anywhere else

Kinda plain. Use to country pride having Buffets.Waitress was really nice and polite. Bathrooms could stand cleaning. Parking lot Hell holes so darn big could not back a 4 axle drop deck in it because the air bags were dragging hell refer bairly got in backed in. Needs MAJOR work on PARKING LOT

Clean restrooms - a big plus for any gas station/rest stop. The service was friendly and the prices fair. Easy stop off when headed on I-29 southbound through the flooded farmlands. There arent any open stops for awhile so take advantage of the chance to stop. Through southwestern Iowa all interstate stops are closed due to the massive flooding and many of the exits off the interstate are closed as well.

Was mildly impressed with this TA. Showers were small but had good water pressure and was actually hot. Clean and had extra towels. Restaurant was good but salad buffet needed help. Soup was very good. Server was friendly. A large area of the lot is reserved parking. They have a shop for tires and such. Theirs a motel close by if need be but no clue how nice it is.

There was absolutely no member of management there and even worse no one could get a hold of one on the phone.

Shorted on a shower, I got 150 gallons on Saturday morning in Albert Lea, MN. Had to switch trucks, so I had to get fuel again Saturday night in Council Bluffs, IA. I got 200 gallons (Diesel and Def) but didnt get a free shower. Apparently your only allowed one free shower every 24 hours. 60 gallons gets you a free shower, so 350 gallons should get you 5 free showers.

I always try to find at least something good about a place but I cant here. The parking area was very run down and and very dirty with little or no lines. And the inside.....i wouldnt even try and use the bathroom. The atmosphere of that place was creepy

This is one of the worst T/As in their network. The employees just do NOT care at all. All showers are dirty, people are waiting and the employees are just sitting around on their phones eating. The truck parking has worse craters than the moon. Don’t stop here. No reason to.

The fact TA is turning most of the parking into Reserved paid parking, earns 1 star from me. My rating is on location and staff. The La Mesa Mexican restaurant across the street is a treat for me. There is a Perkins but you might as Well choose the restaurant at the TA. Staff are friendly and a bit too engaging. Let just stick to being nice, warm and welcoming.

Ordered the chop steak, Mash potatoes and gravy The chop steak was burnt so bad I could not even cut it with a steak knife. Tried to eat it but it tasted so bad I could not eat it. Potatoes was not eatable also they were like watery had lots of gravy over everything. Told waitress that this was really burnt bad. I did not send back for new but just did not eat it. paid for the meal and again I told the waitress it was really bad tasting I tried to eat but it was nasty.Will never go there again was not offered a refund on check but paid for this nasty food

Not sure why this TA gets so many bad reviews, its consistently one of my favorites. I always encounter a friendly staff and spotless facilities. The only downside of this place is the smaller parking area, but not a lot they can do about it as its surrounded by other businesses. On the plus side this allows for a lot of other restaurant options within walking distance if you dont feel like eating at Country Pride. Overall, one of my favorite places to stop.

Came in this morning to get a tire retorqued and no one was available to do it. I had the tire put on in Brooklyn about 200 miles east of here so this was the first location I came too. The woman behind the desk at 0500 this morning wouldnt do it. Im assuming holding down the counter is more important. I came back at 1600 and finally got it done. Every single lug was loose and at this point it was 300 miles after it was done. I hope TA realizes that if that tire came off they would be liable because I did stop to get it done.

Fast, friendly service. Usually in and out quick, food from the country pride is always cooked well. A few minutes away from Harrahs and downtown Omaha in case you got a layover.

I was hungry and went into the restaurant and theysat at the counter immediately brought me a water and menu. After a couple of minutes I was ready to order soon put my menu down there was very few people in the Country Pride restaurant and I made eye contact with the waitress several times but she was too busy making small talk with her co-worker so after 10 minutes of this I got up and left. If you good service Id go elsewhere.

Their parking lot can use some work, but its a good place to stop just outside of Omaha.

This has become our spot for lunch or breakfast passing thru Council Bluffs on I-29. Nice selection. Salad bar available as a side. Real fair prices.

Travel Authority is a good place to specially like if youre working out of state and you dont have a place to stay or just generally dont have a place to stay but $13 for shower to me is a little expensive he just seven days of $13 showers is $91 a week I mean thats what youd pay in water from one that most places around United States I mean also its its got you know things that you might need like batteries chargers for your car just things you might need when youre traveling a little overpriced my opinion I know places to get it cheaper and Travel Authority usually be the only store around which is an all too great but I mean they have what you might need its just youre going to pay a little bit more for it

Ate here at the Country Pride tonight with my husband. Worst food ever... Not only did it take us 20 mins just to get drinks, the girl serving them never gave us refills... Even after being there for over an hour... I ordered the Mac and cheese with chicken. It smelled like vinegar, and not the edible vinegar... Like stinky feet vinegar. My husbands meal was cold and tasted burnt, which was weird because how do you burn stir-fry? We even openly joked about how bad the food was and how thirsty we were and not one of the servers helped us. I should have just got up and got my husband his soda myself.Don’t eat here!. Especially if you want to keep your intestines where they should be, and if you’re short on time.

ONE OF THE WORST TAs Ive been to in my life. AC doesnt work. Bathrooms are horrible. Food is HORRIBLE. Something is definitely dead in there for sure. After putting 750 miles in for the day I would rather sleep in a outhouse then to sleep here. I believe they should DEFINITELY CLOSE THIS STORE DOWN.!!! OR RENOVATE AND ERADICATE THE EMPLOYEES.!! Old, run down, cramped poorly paved parking lot. Would not recommend getting any work done in shop, the shop is poorly managed, understaffed, small cramped service bays, long wait to get in a bay, even longer wait for somebody to actually start working on truck, then finishing it is another long story. Upstairs tv room and showers are not heated well in cold weather, downstairs showers are closet sized cramped, restaurant is big and decent somehow.

The gas station part is small, and bathrooms one. And it for both men and women. Does have 2 massage chairs and I seen a nice resturant on the other half. Which looked nice. The parking lot is large! Good for semis

Need to hire more shop techs. The poor fellow that was sent to slap a tire on my truck was running low on energy. Better pay might be the incentive needed to attract workers, but Im sure corporate will never figure it out.

Fairly clean place to stop. I liked how the Cat Scale was set up, easy on easy off, right into the fuel islands. Lots of parking. Several restaurants with in a reasonable walking distance from the truck stop to choose from.

Went to their restaurant on Christmas day at about 8 pm. Had the best feast of my life that was hot and delicious. The waitress was very kind. This was much needed as today a limb fell on my car and smashed it and my dog had to be put down last Thursday. The staff and food brought me a bit of comfort as this has been a rough couple weeks. Thank you.

I want to first say that I have been to pretty much every TA in these United States and I can say this TA is the most unwelcoming TA I have EVER been too. From the staff being short with you to the you shouldnt be here looks from the staff (me and my co-driver are both brown.) It was terrible and then to top it all off me and my co-driver hadnt been able to shower in three days, the water stayed hot for 5mins and that has never happened at any TA I have ever been too. I will most definitely think twice from here on out.

If I could give a zero I would. After spending almost $600.00 on fuel they charged me $14 for a shower. Then after a less than mediocre meal in their dirty restaurant I spent another $8 in the store. They kicked me out of their parking lot with my oversized load at 830pm without my escort because they said I was in reserved parking... there were no signs.. meanwhile there was a spot right next to me.never will I spend another penny at a t/a or Petro. Up yours!

Called at 7pm on a Tuesday evening to make an appointment for Wednesday morning to have 4 new trailer tires put on. Arrived 30 minutes before my appointment on Wednesday. Was told I was next in line. 2 hours later I was told there were 5 trucks ahead of me. I went to the sapp brothers and got my tires replaced quickly. TA called me 6 hours later telling me they were ready for me. What a joke. Worst TA.

Gail and Charles waitress and cook at the restaurant THANK YOU!! Ive been driving all over the country for several years now first time the restaurant has ever done this !!! They separated the food without me even asking and it was delicious as well these are polite hard-working dedicated employees my shout-out is to Gail who prepared my food and the Cooks name was Charles thank you for what you do!!

TAKE is a truck stop that is good for Country Pride restaurant and if youre in a RV its nice to fill up and take a shower on them. Whats even Better is if youre resetting you can walk to the Wal-Mart, Perkins Restaurant, La Mesa Mexican Restaurant, and more, a whole lot more! 😎 TAYLOR is a very convenient stop. 😉

Weve eaten at country pride restaurants before, but this was lousy. Food was bland. Mushrooms on the salad bar were bad and made us ill.

Modern, clean, quality restrooms with old school faucets that you can regulate. They have what you need to get back on the road. Coffee is seriously good and hot.

Restaurant closes at 8 and if ur not in there at 730 u get ignored horrible place will not return to this TA

I thought the Pilot was bad. Apparently, I hadnt anticipated this level of terrible.Dont eat here. Just dont. Youll thank me tomorrow, when you can drive more than 10 miles without a bathroom stop.About 20 trucks in the parking lot and 35 people showing connected to the wifi. That, in itself, is the foundation for this place. Maybe they like the drivers that deliver to them, but the rest of us are chopped liver.Is it the Omaha influence, or does Iowa just suck this bad, in general? Im having visions of West Memphis.

Needed a shower because our camper water froze. Was very clean and well supplied with towels and amenities. Had dinner at the restaurant which was ok. Although I have to mention the chicken noodle soup had absolutely no flavor. Recovering from a motorcycle accident with a broken pelvis, I would have appreciated being able to get In and out a lot easier. There was a door that would have cut my walk in half but wasnt aloud to use it it was fire door or something.

Good luck getting gas quickly. I have walked in to pre pay only to find virtually no one in sight. No one even behind the counter for well over 5 minutes. Sometimes I just have to yell HEY I NEED SOME GAS and even then it takes awhile for them to drag themselves to the register.

It wasnt all that great. Potato soup was amazing tho

The cashier lady was so kind,she offer me rag so I can seat outside wile I was waiting laundry, the other one gave complimentary shower as they didnt have ready bigg shower room.Security helps me to lift up cart on second floor in order to wash my clothesBottom in the line this is great place,high recommend, I will be back. Its good reading, TA offers a viready of news and information. Most all is very good and once in a wile not so good. But overall I would give a B+

Likely won’t stop here again, too long of a wait at counter for cashier, shower was small and towels were ready for the trash, face mask are optional even for employees, I think I’ll just bypass this place next time.

Hear at the Ta shop came in with a warranty issue and they stood up and took care of the problem very happy

Had an issue with debit card. Usually can debit off fuel card, but for some reason it wouldnt take it. Personal was nice. I wrote a comcheck and all was well.
