Purchased a used D6M to repair a campground which suffered a compete loss from the 2019 flood. Searching auction and dealer sites there are many options out there. I chose NMC and a piece of used equipment they had run through the shop to get the most for my $$. I am not a big player like a Macardle or Hawkins I am on a budget to rebuild. Sales staff steers me away from auction buys stating your never know what could be wrong with a machine that hasn’t been inspected so I put all my eggs in one basket. Guess what they missed something with the AC system. A 50k machine needs 5k worth of repairs toMake it work. Completely inoperable and was listed as “fair” working condition on the inspection report. Now I am realistic. This is an older machine I knew it needed a new switch and probably a charge but 5k? Spoke with Rusty who decided even though that’s how the inspection read to not stand behind it even with me offering to pay some of it. If your not a big player you might as well buy auction items because their inspection reports are worth exactly what the paper they are printed on.....NMC had failed. Ziegler and Butler stand behind their shop maybe look outside the area if you must. In the long run I am sure NMC doesn’t care I Only a small pothole but it’s a big financial huddle in the rebuild of my Business.
