I hate their corporate politics, but I had the most amazing associate: Tricia help me out as I was trying to track down buckets for a project. She was so kind and helpful, not to mention tenacious! Despite the store donating apparently all their buckets (thanks..) we literally walked the store 3x and she rounded them up for me. Thank you, Tricia!
Went in today to buy lumber after I talked to someone on the phone that said they could enter my card manually so I took 30 mins- a hour picking though wood(13 pieces) went to cash out and they said they couldn’t enter my card manually so long story short I placed my order on line for in store pick up and they cancel my order so now I got to wait 5-7 business days to get my refund back on my card 137.43 order because they said it would take a while for the order to come in I didn’t mind waiting but they didn’t ask me if I wanted to cancel it hope u girls feel good about ur selfs now i lost 137 for a week feel like I been robbed and taking money away from my kids employee of the month go to you guys lol
Home Depot is always a great place to buy what you need to do most anything around the house. Prices are affordable. The staff is always eager to help you find what you need to complete your project.
Call two times the tool repair dep., To ask the status do my lawn mower being repaired, no one had any info. And told me that the repair guy wasn’t in, to call the next day!! Called the next day, the same answer! This guy named Dough, sooo rude!! I’ll never bring anything to be repair to this place! Terrible customer service!!!
Horrible customer service. Was treated very poorly considering my medical condition. Was sold an 18V power tool with a 12V battery and charger. I know I should have checked more closely but I took what the guy said was the right item. Im not from the area but plan on returning the 12V battery and charger at a different location. I WILL NEVER return to this location and encourage others to stay away. Go to Lowes instead.

Garden side is great! Garden side staff is excellent! Store side ... meh ... blame the low stock on COVID but the low customer commitment (less than helpful and low knowledge staff) -- thats all on them. Remember boys and girls: you get what you pay for (and Im talking salary, not shelf prices -- so yeah, you, managers). Ever heard of K-Mart?

Will never rent from here again.. After picking up a trailer. I made sure both lights worked as you should always.. One ramp flies down leaving the plaza.Nobody inspects these rentals! Comes back, off to the next person.. Their plack on the wall in the rental counter is not true. That is not safe under any circumstance. Not to mention the other pin that they put in fell out on the way back to the store.Save your money and go to another Depot or Lowes!
Anyone work here? Rang the tool rental doorbell numerous times. Came inside through the main door. Stood in the buzzer for 5 minutes with 4 employees in registers “not allowed to leave” as they have no customers.Finally called the store had to say “customer complaint” got a manager and Annette came right over and was amazing.Seems like there is a massive systemic problem here.System 0 stars - when a single department is covered by 1 person and they take a lunch you have coverage!Annette 5 stars. Pleasant helpful, apologetic even though it was not her fault. Give her a raise.

Im giving 4 stars for the SERVICE DESK PERSONNEL. I only go here for on line order pick up. The service desk people are great. Unfortunately, I have had several poor experiences with the rest of the store. Such as poor assistance (when they werent ignoring me). And it is hit or miss with knowledgeable staff. UPDATE: June 7, 2021, read closely, save yourself money and aggravation. Home Depot does not honor problems with major appliances and they do not make sure you are aware of that when you are spending your money making a purchase. My wife and I bought a Frigidaire upright freezer and took delivery April 14, 2021, we also bought the 5 year protection plan. This unit got cold quickly and kept our food frozen well, and has a green light seen from the front near the floor with the door closed so you can see any issues happening. This past Saturday evening June 5, 2021 the freezer started making a beeping sound and the green light began blinking continuously. Obviously a problem. Opened the door and the temperature on the top two racks was 35 degrees. The lower racks hovering around 10 degrees and proceed to climb over the weekend. Yes, too much food for our refrigerator, some spoiled food. A quick check on Frigidaires web site confirmed the need for help. We called Home Depot for assistance and were on hold for nearly 20 minutes before we were told someone would call us back. At the call back, we were informed that they can do nothing. This is a 7 week old freezer, bought their store website with a debit card. The money went to them Instantly and we get blown off. Not even an attempt to apologize for our problem, just a phone number to call. Period. I contacted Home Depots main website and was informed that that is procedure and they can do nothing. Told me to contact the manufacturer. I had her repeat that again....could not believe this. A freezer less than two months old breaks down and we have to jump through hoops to find our next step. Home Depot suggested file a claim with our plan for service and the spoiled food. Actually said have a nice day. We contacted our plan, was told we cannot file a claim because of the manufacturer warranty. As for the claim for the food, they want us to supply documentation for the food. Really? Receipts for food bought over the course of 6 weeks? Good plan. Go to Best Buy and buy Samsung. My review is now 2 stars for my old experience with the service desk personnel.
I did curbside pick up. Honestly because I was too lazy and wanted to make sure I got the bulk discount. They were awesome and helped me load my truck up with all the insulation. Very professional, very friendly.

I like them everything I need there for most jobs doing construction kinda forced to go because they took out most of the competition thats around them but still try and go to the l smaller stores whats left of them anyway ill pay a little extra to get in and out fast and have some breathing room and not have 100s of people right next to me waiting for a hour because theres only 3 out of 15 register s are open

Have no trouble at this store. But feel bad for the employees here. On our trip today we watched a man walk out with a full carriage of power tools right in front of a manager..I honestly feel bad for him. Working in retail I know you cant pursue anyone for your safety and theres but he just looked so defeated. There needs to be some sort of security especially right now.

The WORST customer service!! Impossible to contact by phone- no one ever picks up. Or they transfer you and no one picks up there! When I finally reached someone at the desk they said “ the best they could do” is to leave a note on their desk to call me. That was more than a week ago. I just wanted to order an additional window shade- they had all the info! Soooo frustrating! I’d go elsewhere but have already paid for the measuring. After this, will NEVER shop this branch again! 😤
Ive been going to this location for a long time. Theyve probably got the best customer service of any home depot (and most are pretty good). I appreciate that the store is always consistent with where everything is and how its all laid out.Lowes is always changing everything around and I hardly ever get great service when I actually need help.I dont need help often though. The app is fantastic. I search for whatever I need and itll tell me what isle and bay it is in and how many are in stock. In the rare instance that I actually do need help the employees in North Kingstown never make you feel like youre a burdon. They actively ask how they can help when they see you instead of awkwardly staring until you speak up. If they dont know an answer they quickly find the person who does.Even when youre just walking by and clearly dont need assistance they at least say a friendly hello if they catch eye contact. As a person who has spent his entire life in sales, restaurants, and customer service that means the world to me. Its a small gesture but it makes me feel they care.The only thing I dont like is your Lumber. I use my local Lumber yard for all of that. I get much better quality for a similar price, and Im supporting a local business.Keep up the good work... And please dont ever get bought out by Lowes.... I hate that store.Cheers,JC

Unable to go down an aisle,, needed a brush in and out of store quickly, they were putting stuff up in the rack from the next aisle at the other end,, the staff treats the customers like 2-year-olds.
Extremely unfriendly and unhelpful, sent me to a different store for no reason they also won’t honor online sales. Your better off setting your money of fire instead of wasting your time and money by going here.

My son in law who is a disabled Vet could have used some help inside the store with his lumber purchase. He needed 8 they had to cut 16s to fill his order. They told him to bring the lumber over to where the saw station is and they would cut it for him. They are fortunate I wasnt inside with him. He made me stain on the truck.

Employees need more training and incentives to deliver better quality customer service specially the tool rental department in Coventry RI branch. Very Bad attitude and total disrespect.

Was all things considering everything ran pretty smoothly except for the fact that their stock as far as materials for wood is very low and the most common pieces of wood you cannot get there. But they have enough staff on to help you with whatever you need and check out was very fast.

I hate to write this but it is needed because of what happened. The store has many wonderful employees but the one I dealt with today was not one of them. I needed to grab some items for a job and I asked one of the younger employees for a helping hand and in return I got an unwelcoming attitude followed by sarcastic remarks against me and my son. I asked another employee for the man of this young man and I was told it was Garrett. It is a shame the store is reflected in this situation but it is needed
Being that number of people in the store is restricted due to Covid, it was staffed well and the lines were controlled efficiently. I went in during afternoon, and had to get some lumber cut...I was in and out in about 20 mins from start to finish. Good job Coventry store

Unfortunately, there were only self check-out registers open, which my husband refuses to use - so I checked us out. If not, he would have just left, without making a purchase. Home Depot may just want to consider how many other customers feel the same way...

I made an online order for in-store pick up and when I arrived, I was told that that product was discontinued, which was a little frustrating, but Chey and Terry in customer service were very helpful, and I ended up with a similar product and a good deal. A little annoying that the website wasnt updated but thats not all their fault, and they remedied the situation for me.

They have had my Generator for over 6 months, after they said they could fix it. I have called Brian over a month ago and he said he would get back with me. (He never has called me) I talked with John, he said he would call me Monday (July 30th) he has never called me back. I feel Home depot is not interested in helping me or giving me back my generator they said they could fix 6 months ago. I am not sure why they never called me back after they said they would. I am not sure I will ever get my generator back fixed, so I am writing this to let others know when it come to Home Depot they have zero integrity and you are on your own.

Helpful staff, very organized, easy to find items. They had a person at the entry doors offering to locate items, with a computer, withinin the store for you so you dont have to guess where things may be located, nice.
Most everything Ive needed for home improvement can be found here. Which for me is very limited anyway, but still have had easy times finding what I wanted.
I like home depot but they price gouge on items like circut breakers and ice and water shield. Their stock has been low. Especially if you want pt wood.
This is like the 3rd or 4th time Iv gone to this Home Depot in Coventry and they did not have what I ordered and payed for. Get you’re inventory in order I’m tired of wasting my time driving there for nothing.

The staff is very friendly. They helped me pick out the exact size and style I needed to replace my broken equipment. The employee even got a cart for me and I didn’t even ask for it. Whatever I needed they had gotten for me. The Home Depot is overall a very good place to shop. The staff is knowledgeable. They know what there are talking about. Many times employees will ask other employees for second opinions or for help. No one tries to give fake news.
