We had a key broken off in our vehicle ignition - a flip out fob key. The staff gave us our options and very precise pricing and options to get a new fob programmed. They were quick and accommodating. Going so far as to allow us a space to change our young daughters diaper on a spare work table :)In and out in less than an hour with two new key fobs. Parking was easy and the Monday morning staff were awesome!I highly recommend Acme services. We have used them for business, and now trust them with our automotive needs, as well!

Have a vintage 1984 Honda nighthawk needed keys for it they were on top of it I got two made and they work perfectly,good job Acme lock.

Gary was able to make key copys for old existing locks at our Swim and Tennis Club where other lock smiths all failed to make correct keys that would actually work! We were told by other lock smiths we would need to get new locks and replace all 400 key and it would have cost us over $1200 bucks. They saved us a thousand dollars! Great job!

I had an issue with my Ford where no keys would program, regardless of what I did. It wouldnt start at all. Had a locksmith previously that couldnt do it. Had one very nice gentleman, Niko, from Acme come out today that couldnt get anything to work either. He ended up calling another Acme locksmith with a different computer, I think Kip, but she said shes been doing this for Acme for four years. She came out and got to working away. Nothing worked so she went with new keys and got things working, which then got my other two keys working somehow too. She was amazing and very nice. Paid quite a bit less than what I was looking at with the dealer and a tow bill.Acme will be the only locksmith I use in this area from now on. Absolutely ecstatic.

Butch did an amazing job of installing new locks and repairing and upgrading our existing doors. He followed through with extra help in programming. He communicated clearly and sent me texts with updates. Recently one of our locks broke and it was promptly replaced under warranty. Great Job!

Needed to make a copy of a key to get into my house and ACME lock was able to make a copy for me in under 2 minutes. It was quite a relief since Home Depot and Lowe’s told me they would not be able to make a key for me at all due to the weird shape.Staff was very friendly and helpful during the short time it took to make my key and I will definitely be using them for all future lock and key issues that I have.

I went to Acme a few weeks ago to get a duplicate key made for emergencies. I have a master key that Ive had since I purchased my car from the dealer.Tim at the front desk was knowledgeable and professional and told me to come back later because the tech was eating lunch. I returned an hour later and Tim took my master key to the back. About 10 mins later I see the tech walking across the street to my car. The tech used my master key to remotely open the door and he worked for the better part of an hour. When he was finished he came right in and put my keys on the check out counter. I paid Tim the $160+ for my duplicate key. I used the duplicate for 9 days and decided it was time to put the duplicate away and go back to using the master key. I took the master out of the glove box that only contained the key and car paperwork and it started the car. When I got out of the car and pushed the lock button on the master remote, I didnt hear the familiar lock sound. I tried all the buttons multiple times and none of them worked.I immediately called Acme to notify them of the problem. He told me that if both remotes are not close enough together while programming the duplicate that the duplicate can unprogram the master. He said that the problem was fixable and to bring both remote keys back when possible.Yesterday I returned to Acme, a different tech named Keyla (her name was given to me by a different employee since she didnt introduce herself) took both my keys. The tech returned about an hour later with my master key dismantled and she was clearly agitated. She proceeded to tell me that there was some goo inside my master key rendering it unprogrammable. Her solution was to buy another remote for an additional $160+. I picked up the master and inspected it carefully. The goo was a small amount of clear gel (smaller than a pea)that had the feel of lubricate. By all accounts it appeared to be lock lubricant. This gel was not not present on any other part of the remote. I asked her how it could have gotten to that location inside of the remote and there was sign of it elsewhere. She said she didnt know but it wasnt supposed to be there and there was nothing she could do. I then asked for a manager. She said ok, snached both of the keys up, and stormed to the back.A few minutes later the manager comes out with the tech Keyla and he tries to make Keylas same argument about this mystery goo. I then made it clear that the fact remained that the master remote was fully functional the before the duplicate was made. I dont know how this gel/lubricant could have possibly made it to the location it did without leaving a trace on any other area internally. The manager then confirmed the year, make, and model of my car and took both keys with him to the back.About an hour later the tech Keyla returns and begins to very rudely tell me I needed to go try both of the remotes separately now. I was so offended, through this entire processes Ive kept my composure and been kind to every employee in this establishment. I bit my toungue and did what I was told. When I found that both keys were fully functional. I said Yay! They both work. Thank you! She then said have a nice day and stormed off.This entire experience has left a bad taste in my mouth with so many unanswered questions. Was reprogramming of the master so difficult that the gel was purposely put there to get me to purchase another remote? I have no proof because I didnt observe the techs close enough. Going forward I dont see myself returning to Acme.

Bought tool 2 remove broken keys cost 6 dollars had it out in 10 minutes the people 5stars the prices negative 5 stars

I broke my car key and needed a replacement key. The associate whom helped me was very nice and outgoing. After getting the replacement key I left the store not thinking to check the key in my door because I was rushing to get to work after already being 2 hours late. When I got to work I locked my doors and went in, noticing I left my badge I returned to my car and noticed my key did not work for my locks I called Acme immediately. I was told someone would be sent out to unlock my car and make changes to my key. The manager called me later and stated he felt as if because of my mistake it would cost them money to come out and fix the key. I acknowledged I was human and made mistakes but the manager (Tim) went on to state my mistake is why I was having the problem and it would be money loss to him. The manager talked to me as if I were a child and was just overall rude about the situation. I did not appreciate that what so ever considering the Situation I was in.

This company is WONDERFUL! My son lost his key fob to his car and the dealership was going to charge us $350 to replace it. Acme did it for less than half that price. They were very friendly, informative and professional!I will never use anyone else, but ACME in Cincinnati!

I called and asked how much to re-key a lock set....told them that I was on the way. Drove over there with the locks..... Zero stars, nasty customer service questionable over charging practices. They were late to the appointment didnt fix the lock and charged $180 for being there less than a half an hour. Told my wife the replacement lock would cost $600? When she didnt agree to the price for a run of the mill storm door lock they charged her for the visit and for a exorbitant service fee hence the way overcharge of a $180! Do yourself a favor and avoid these shysters. I understand that you have to make money but there is good practices and just being rude and greedy! Run away! Take the lock off and go to any hardware store and get it done for less than $50. Ill spare you all of the expletives I want to use to describe Acme Lock!

Hats off to Jack and Tim!!! I needed a new key fob made for my car. It seemed like nothing was going right this particular day. I spent almost 5 hours at their location but the equipment needed to reprogram the key fob was out on emergency run after emergency run. Tim assured me he would send someone to my home (I live almost 1.5 hrs away). Sure enough Jack came to my home later that evening and had a new key fob programmed in NO TIME for half of the cost of the dealership! We were stuck in the Cincinnati Museum of Art for a few hours after losing our car key. No other services would offer to help (the 24/7 place isnt 24/7--surprise).Acme Lock sent Jack who was our savior. He made and reprogrammed a new key fob at a very great rate (other places who could only come in the morning were trying to charge us 2-3 times more). Super professional with some light humor, he turned this ordeal around 180° and lowered everybodys nerves.Jack arrived in ~20 minutes, the job was done at the museum parking lot in ~15 minutes, and the new key was perfect and we were on the road in 5 minutes. He also explained what to do and who to contact about updating the basic spare key.

This is the place to go. I see no need to drive out to Lowes or Home Depot anymore. They have everything, except lumber (which you can get over at Doppes) and they are the epitome of customer service. You dont have to worry about wandering around for 20 minutes trying to find the right section for the stuff you need or even longer to find a person. You walk in and say what youre planning on doing and boom... youre hooked up with the right person. Not to mention the place is bright, clean and well stocked. An okay experience overall.I had a few snags - they were disorganized with handling my issue, and there was a misunderstanding that I wish they wouldve covered/clarified better over the phone. I would recommend trying to speak with the technician directly if youre requesting auto key work. The technician seemed to know his stuff, though, and their prices were fair.If I had to have similar work done, Id consider this place again but would call around first.

I was recently locked out of my vehicle and through geico insurance I filed a claim for roadside assistance...the company reps were nice I guess but their policies are ridiculous they wanted to see my title or registration before they would unlock my car. When I explained that I did not have this they then said they could except an insurance card which is crazy considering the fact my insurance company called them on my behave. Im sure they are just following rules bit common sense needs to come into play sometimes. Needless to say I cancelled my work order and strongly advise others to ask questions before going with this company especially if they are sent to you by an insurance company. This was one of my worst experiences and to be denied services that were requested through a very reputable company such as Geico is ridiculous. I have personally contacted Geico in regards to this matter and I felt everyone should know what has transpired. If you here looking for assistance I would recommend Jack Rabbit LLC not only was my wait time ten compared to the 90 they quoted but the service more streamline
