Been going here for many years. In the last year the sandwiches have gone downhill. Forgetting to put meat on the sandwiches, screwing up the order, ect. I called and complained one day on a screwed up order and the worker that answered the call didnt even want me to come back to get the order right. Today I went and ordered my usual. Get home to eat and it was the most pathetic sandwich I have ever gotten from them. Very little meat and no cheese. I paid $15.50 for a bread and lettuce sandwich. I will never go back here again. I try not to ever complain but when you screw up so much and cant get it right how is that the customers fault. Wrong is wrong.

I have been a regular customer of this hidden jewel of Cranford for quite some time.They have all the basics (produce, eggs, dairy plus alcoholic beverages 😄), great meats, cold cuts & cheeses and great sandwiches and wraps.This is my favorite spot when I need a quick and nice lunch or when I need to re-stock the pantry.

Sandwiches are always stacked full of meat.... Definitely recommend

Always delicious,always fresh. From deli sandwiches during summer time to hot dogs,potato salad,cucumber salad yesterday. Tonight we ate the pre made chicken stir fry was Amazing,all I have to cook was a little rice. DELICIOUS!!

This place is an absolute hidden gem, and so much more than just a butcher! Excellent service, excellent sandwiches and pretty much everything you need to throw a party can be found here. Oh, and they do butcher stuff too. 😉

I grew in the area so i feel nostalgic coming in. I wish the show was closer to my home, i stop in when visiting my folks. The quality of service and selection cant be beat anywhere else. Hot food, salads and wine all in one stop shopping

I love the Butcher Block. They have the best soup around, the sandwiches are delicious and if you need meat, bread, eggs, you can pick them all up at The Butcher Block.

Butcher Block is one of my favorite places to buy burgers, salads, soups, get deli items. Chips, wine...you name it in Cranford, NJ...Butcher Block has it...seriously though their food is fresh and tastes delicious and the employees are amazing people, great customer service, polite and friendly. I love the place.

Has been my go-to place for lunch for over 5 years. Great soups as well as a lot of home made items like stuffed peppers and mushrooms, steaks, chicken, and a whole array of package-to-oven food.

In town for work and its a great place to order a sandwich. Staff is friendly and fast. Only bad part is no delivery.
