Pawtuxet Village is filled with history! The Boathouse offers a venue for parties of all kinds. It is adjacent to a pretty park with benches and a gazebo where you can enjoy the view of the beginning of Narragansett Bay. Nearby the bridge that is above the Pawtuxet River is a favorite place to look at the rushing water, fish, or enjoy the ice cream cone that you bought nearby. Plenty of places to sit outdoors and enjoy people watching while having coffee, lunch or even a cocktail.

Amazing colonial Era Neighborhood. Great restaurants, views and people. Home of the annual Gaspee Day arts festival and parade, celebrating the important historical role colonial Rhode Islanders played in the American Revolution. Also home to the historical reenactment of the burning of the HMS Gaspee.

RIs oldest little village. Its just a few streets of family friendly shops, restaurants, and cafes. My favorite is Felinis for pizza followed by a crepe from Elephant Room. Come at night and catch star watches with telescopes on the bridge!

Most of it is actually in Cranston. Anyway, great little neighborhood with plenty of shops and people watching.
