Really enjoyed my first visit to Gallery 1700. Friendly family environment and a selection that had me there for an hour at least. Looking forward to my next visit in the near future. Picked up this jersey for a great price, along with other items as well.

Ive frequented this place for 7 years and its always a pleasure. Every time I go is always an adventure finding something new. The staff there are also very friendly and conversational. Gave me some awesome discounts too.

Staff were super friendly. A real mixed bag of retailers inside. Some with just house clearance stuff and others with legit collectors items. Kind of place you need to keep an eye on and keep going back. Fun time. Owner was great.

This place is amazing! Everyone there is super nice and you can honestly spend all day looking at everything they have there. Plus their deals are super good as well you should definitely stop by when you can.

It is a little warm in there but if you like to shop at resale shops. They have a lot of stuff.

LOVE this place! This is my 4th time here and I never leave empty handed. First off, the owners and workers are nothing but friendly and helpful. If I need a price check or a hand of carrying my items or item to the front desk they are right there to assist. They have absolutely everything you want or need or to just browse like I did today on this rainy day. Not everyone wants to shop for 2 hours in here like I do but what can you do on an all day rain and want to just be by yourself and get away from the hubby for a while?!?! No, punt intended if hes reading this! LOL!! But seriously, NOTHING but great deals and kind owners and you will see me back very soon!! Oh, and did I mention some booths are 10 or 20% off on their item/items. Check it out, you wont regret it!!!

This place is fantastic!! The employees are welcoming and very helpful. The store is neat and clean, which of course we know that some antique/resale stores are not. The variety of things for sale in here is staggering. I could happily wander around here for hours. And to top it all off, their prices are more than fair. Ill be back for sure.

Rude employee commented about how he didnt know how I could walk through the whole place and only buy 1 small glass cup.Heres the thing Id rather give local small business the money when I can and I just needed a cup to keep qtips in.Ive spent hundreds of dollars in this store and so has my dad who i brought in.Maybe dont make comments to customers who you think dont spend enough because who knows what theyve bought in the past when you werent there.

One of the nicest antique malls around. Individual vendors selling a good mix of antiques, crafts, and junque. Will easily take you 2 hours if you stop at every stall.

GOD THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING. Theres honestly so many things to see, they have things like old phones, (I saw a really cool mickey mouse phone there!) Clothes, cool posters and photos, collectables and stuff. Im honestly not sure how to describe it, but PLEASE go here. Its so cool.

Theyve got everything you might be looking for. Toys, memorabilia, household items etc. The only downside is the owner. He seemed like a jerk and wasnt actually helpful at all. But otherwise, the rest of the staff was extremely nice.

Love this place. Owner and staff there are welcoming. Place is huge. One of the biggest in Illinois. Over 90 vendors. Mancave, antiques, furniture, popculture, crafts you name it. Definitely worth a trip. Ill be back.

I bought this chef decor for $35 (originally priced $70 but with promo 50% off). I just moved into a new place and trying to be on budget so i tried buying stuff from thrift stores. I thought this was really a good deal until i saw the same exact item in Walmart for $20! I wanted to return the decor but i already threw away the receipt. Im so mad! I felt i was robbed! Im NEVER going back!

Bought a great old table to refinish. Lots of great old stuff at reasonable prices. The sellers there are a laid back, personable bunch. Make sure you check when they are open, theyre only open for limited hours.

Everything here is priced very well. Especially when you don’t use your tools that often you don’t have to spend a fortune.

This store has a huge variety of items to choose from oh, great prices, and its very neat and clean. They also have great customer service.

Love the people there they are really nice and down to earth. They make very good conversation to get you to know more the store layout and the history of Gallery 1700. This store has everything including tools and dog and cat soft cages as well as wheel chairs, walkers both 2, 3 and 4 wheelers and canes and there all new and way cheaper in price than others for the same thing. I went in there and talked to John the owner and he gave me a 20% discount on everything I bought. John says he gives a 20% discount to anybody who buys something there!!

I was just driving by and saw this very large antique store. Since it appeared so colorful and lively on the outside, I decided to come inside. From ceramic cookie jars, art, REAL antiques and furniture, Gallery 1700 has an awesome selection. I plan to return.

Just purchased a set of dressers here. Fantastic prices on everything. John was very helpful and personable. I can’t wait to go back to really explore all that this store has to offer. You really need a full day to see it all. So many things here! Highly recommended.

Heard about the place from a friend drove over a hour got there walked around to be follwed and watched by the owner I went in there with $500 in my wallet hoping to buy some goodies because Im a big collector in vintage toys but after being watched I didnt even finish walking around I just left not sure if its because I had tattoos or looked some kind of way to the guy but Ill never go back

This place is awesome! They have something for everyone, and the best part is we found a bear my wife and I had been looking for FOREVER! it’s a Oshkosh denim bear they no longer make! Our son has had this bear since he was 2 so finding another for him to keep forever ment a lot! We also meet vendor in booth 36 who does awesome work refurbishing any piece! We were lucky enough to get there on time to see a beautiful piece she was finishing up before it went up for sale and bought on the spot, we couldn’t pass on such beautiful piece!!! The owner Jhon is also very friendly and greeting customers who are shopping throughout the area! It’s awesome to see an owner interact with customers since you don’t see that often! We will deffinetly be back for more awesome finds!

This place is huge! It does have antiques and many other things. However Im one who appreciates the beauty of antiques always have and always will and to see a few items one being a beautiful antique kids desk that was painted over with purple and white paint and then to have someone try and make it look weathered/worn was very disturbing to look at. If I wanted something like that I would go to retail store! Not to mention theyre pretty expensive. I did over hear the guy who works there say theyre willing to negotiate on prices but I much rather go to a flea market if I need to do all that. In my opinion if youre a store willing to negotiate on prices then you know your prices are too high! Needless to say I walked out with nothing. I gave it 2 stars because there is plenty to look at.

Beware! You will spend all day here! The place is huge with just about anything you can imagine. They have it all. We spent hours here and only managed to go through maybe 1/4 of the entire lot. Its open all 7 days a week and you will find some really great stuff hidden in this little treasure chest. The owner John was very kind to us when we were checking out go pay this gem a visit! you will not come out disappointed or empty handed and the prices are great!

A lot of antique items of all sorts! Customer service is spot on, everything is well kept and organized, 5 stars; was my review last year in 2017. Just recently went again before Christmas 2018 and a total transformation. A lot of sellers must have left because this place feels like a garage sale now more than a antique shop, a lot of peoples unwanted items filled the floor, was very disappointed.

Lots and lots of antiques and collectibles. Many seasonable and craft antiques and collectibles. They have a huge place for making ceramics downstairs. The place has thousands of square feet for shopping and is perhaps the Joliet areas largest antiques, collectibles and furniture showcase. Great place for that hard to find item.

Sometimes find something. Very few antiques. Big garage sale. Crafts. I laugh at one dealer who raids HOBBY LOBBY for man cave stuff and doubles or triples the price. $50 for a sign he no doubt bought at Hobby Lobbys 50% off sale for $5. Lol

Great place with friendly staff

I wish I could give this place zero stars!!!! I inquired about the price of a bobble head and the male owner was very rude after I stated the item was over priced. He tried to insult my intelligence by questioning if I knew the person the bobble head was modeled after was dead? He believed this drastically increased the value of a bobble head even though these types of items are frequently giving away free at the Blackhawks games. He appeared to became upset after I stated you can find the same item at another antique shop for approximately $25.00 cheaper and he stated in a loud voice WELL GO IT THEN!!!!!! Business owners should keep their emotions in check and not allow their feelings to be hurt just because someone questions a price of an item. Due to his rudeness and terrible customer service I will never shop there again.
