2014 Honda Civic transmission went out. I called the dealership and a few other shops for prices. Milex was the most responsive, took the time to explain all my options, and was by far the most thorough. Went with a used transmission with the warranty and six months later, no issues and runs great. Great price and they got the work done fast. I highly recommend.

This Milex has the best car mechanics I have ever had (Jason and Dave). The service is always professional, straight to the point, and fair costs for repairs. They also have a used sales car lot on location. How cool is that! When my son needed a car I sent him there.

Had an overall good experience with Milex. The manager Dave was extremely helpful and honest about my vehicle issues. Upfront and answered all of my questions.

This shop is the best. The prices are very reasonable compared to other places, and the staff is excellent. They work with me so I can get my car in when its convenient, and its always ready when promised. They do a great job of noticing issues, telling me upfront the cost to repair, and helping me determine what needs to get fixed now, what can wait, and what I can ignore. I really trust their advice!

I originally gave 4 stars because I always say theres room for improvement, but honestly these guys are awesome! They reminded me of my hometown auto shop. They have really helped me out this week and were there to answer any of my questions.

No B.S from these guys, they explained what needed to be done and got the Job done. In my case they replaced the 2nd clutch pressure switch on my transmission with a honda part and not a aftermarket part. Honda was charging me $450.00 for the job and the Pros at Mr. Transmission charged me 160.00 and no issues afterward. Very satisfied with the service.

Jason is phenomenal! I have been taking my Avalon to him for over 5 years... if I heard a noise or needed an oil change he was always quick to get me in, fix the problem, and always had reasonable rates. I recently traded in the Avalon for an Audi... and I had a slight run in with a small curb. I needed an alignment. He was able to get me in really quickly and charged 1/3 the rate the the Audi dealer quoted... their customer service, quality work, and reasonable rates will keep me coming back knowing I can trust Jason to do what’s best for my car and my pocketbook!!!

A very good trustworthy mechanic that isnt out to feed on customers ignorance on automobiles. They will be honest with you on repairs and will not try to cone you into repairing things on your car that dont need to be repaired.

I had an awful experience at another shop down the street where they increased my estimate several times before they started work and also increased the amount of days it would take to do the job. I asked around and was told about this shop. I couldnt be happier. Not only did they do the work for half of what my original estimate was, but they were done in less than 24 hours. I was having minor problems with my car, and found Mr. Transmission just passing by so I gave them a call they saw me alsmost right away. They were very helpful and friendly. Ive been to many dishonest mechanics who only care about getting your money. It was nice to go somewhere that actually cares about theyre customers. I highly suggest giving them a try.

The service that Jason and Milex provides cant be beat. I take everything from my Nissan to BMW and get quality work done for half the price of dealers.

It has taken me an entire year to consider if I wanted to voice my opinion or not about this company. As a previous business owner I typically do not do this but I am done with mechanic shops not following through on good work. First thing - in Sept of 2014 I had my Jeep and BMW worked on here. They did a good job on the control arms for my BMW, so no complaints. The Jeep on the other hand I spent over $1600 for repairs and because I was so flexible with spending, Bob just assumed it was okay to put other things that needed to be repaired on the tab without consulting me first. I let that go because okay if it has to be fixed fine, but in the future for customer service, tell your customer and not just do the work. Second they did Axle seals both front and back, Ujoints (which are fine), oil pump and gasket replacement, and trans seals. Not even 1200 miles later my trans is leaking terribly and all of the seals are leaking and my Jeep for the 1st time in over 20yrs that I have owned it is running terribly. Not to mention right after I picked this up I was driving to work and my tire was loose, so seems like someone didnt make sure my tires were tighten. PLUS they told me I needed a new engine because it was spewing out oil. I did my own oil change and found out they filled it for a 4.0L not a 2.5 so over filling the oil on any car would make it spew out of the dipstick. I work on cars for fun and I am far from dumb about it, I just dont have time to do it anymore. So I trusted them and now 1200 miles later I found a great shop that fixed everything but I ended up having to get a new transmission because of Bobs poor quality. I should ask for a refund, but even when I requested Bob to refund me for the oil change I didnt get a response until a few days later, I didnt even care to deal with him. I am fine with losing the money, but I cant say that for other people. If I were you, I wouldnt take anything to him because it is a roll of a dice and that is not quality work.

I needed work on my transmission after reading the reviews I decided on Mr transmission . The price wasnt any cheaper than another place down the road but reviews looked good . $2,000 later I go to pick up my car and notice my rims are all scrathed up ! Clearly who ever test drove the car went over a curb, I go in to talk with the owner show him the rim, he can see its fresh even has white from the side walk on it . Then he calls the guy who test drive it, gets off the phone says nope he doesnt know anything about it and walks away from me . My husband goes into the shop the next day talks with the owner, he agrees to replace the rim . 5 months later we have not heard anything back.

BAD service they charge to much and I dont like the way I got my car back very dirty full of prints of oil and black stains all over not coming back at all .

Messed up my whole car and the people there are so rude and unfriendly.
