They are very nice beauty supply. Ive been going to them for my things ever since they first opened many years ago. If you visit Joliet it is a good place to stop!

Good selection of braiding hair, makeup, and accessories. They dont have a lot of bundles with closures or bundle color options but they have lots of extension to choose from. They also have stocking/ hosery and things of that nature. Security was a bit pushy when asking if i wanted help.

The guy was very helpful. Friendly people. Prices reasonable. No complaints. Will shop there again.

I buy hair here multiple times a week and i was told that the brown hair was black and when I got home the color was completely different out of the package which is one misleading and they refused to let me exchange the unused hair the tags were still on it. One of the workers opened the package and said it could not be returned because it was out of the package. When he took it out? Make it make sense.

Trash of beauty supply store. Why have reward card but don’t allow customers to us their points. I’ll never shop there again and I’ll make sure everyone I know go else where.

Cashier likes to give attitude for everything. I seen it before with some other customers, but it happened to me as well he likes to scan some items twice si check on that. Also if you ask him for something he gives you attitude. I will take my business somewhere else there is one across the st by Marshalls and Im going there even thought I never been on the one anything else is better than this place and its teenagers attitude towards customers. If I could give it 0 starts I would . Also I hear about him treating cancer patients bad as well.

I love this place, I have since moved to phoenix, AZ and miss this store a lot. Sure beauty supplies are everywhere and very common but this is the best one! Ever! Cant even find anything close.

I use to really like this place. I found things I couldnt find in other places. Like others, I felt the prices were reasonable. I have also been there and not received a receipt but made no big deal of it. Recently, I was there getting just a few items so the bill was small. I informed the gentleman that I had a license and begin looking for it. When I presented it to him, he looked at it and said I need to purchase $20 worth of merchandise for discount. Feeling like this policy was just made at that precise moment, I asked why was it not posted for customers to see just as the sign stating a $5 minimum purchase was necessary for credit card purchases. His reply, This is owner policy not licensure policy. I told him I know and I think he makes it up as he goes along. He replies Sign cc receipt. I stood there trying to determine whether I wanted to leave him the merchandise. I determined the best way to convince someone to respect my money is to keep it and never offer it to them again. I will go where my license is honored no matter the amount. Anywhere else! I will not be recommending or returning to EHWA BEAUTY SUPPLY!

I went in today with a co-worker who will be going through chemo for ovarian cancer. She was a white female and this was the first time going into a beauty supply store. I raved about this store because I shop here often. She wanted to try on wigs and after trying on the 3rd one we were yelled at about trying to try on a 4th one. Upon explaining to the male clerk of her situation and that she wanted to purchase a wig he got louder and began to talk over me explaining that he didnt care and that policy is policy. We even ofterred to purchase a second wig cap. I understand that policy is policy, however being disrespected was not necessary.

Same thing that happen to Camille Johnson (review below) just happen to me. I brought a different brand of concealer and it irritated my face. I went in to get my regular ( which wasnt available at that time) but they refuse to exchange. I was willing to pay the differencei( if any) betweens the two but the owner just stated she would discount the new concealer (.50🙄) but that was it... REALLY?? Ive been living in this area for more that 10 years and have been patronizing them the whole time. I will definitely NOT go back and will be sue to tell everyone I know not to patronize them...#badcustomerservice

Had been shopping there for the longest time until yesterday. Wasnt given my receipt and waited and extra minute before asking for it. Was asked what do you need something? in the rudest way by the owner. He snatched my receipt out of the machine and flung it towards me to grab. Just lost a customer.

Was there looking for nail glue. I asked for the 2/$1.00 ones the young lady cashier says 2.99, I said no and repeated my statement then she holds up the ones 2/1.00 and charges 2.99 for the 2. Wont go there again.

Very Rude, I went to get a return and or refund and the lady refused to give it to me because she said no one else will want them when I asked for a manager she said she owns it they dont have a corporate number. Very disappointed and I left with an item that was too small and I didnt get a exchange or my money back. I was a regular costumer so Im very disappointed I never had that kind of service.
