I was calling around for quotes and appointments for a sound system for my truck. The gentleman who answered wasn’t very welcoming and seemed to be in a rush. I understand he may have been busy however I was a potential customer. He did inform me I had to set up an appointment to get a estimate. Maybe I would have had a different experience had I stopped inside the location.

Edit: Person I originally spoke to was complete miscommunication. Got a call back with beautiful customer service and completely satisfied with the callback. Plenty of subwoofers in stock as previously misunderstood.

Would like to say Cal and Sam top of the line guys. Had a new Kenwood head unit installed in my 2019 van by the guys. Couldnt get SiriusXM to run. Took back to shop they made it work. I brought my vehicle there to get a touch screen radio installed no problem at all with the radio install. So why Im there I request about LED lights gave me a price an got both done since I was there. 3 weeks later one LED went out they replaced it saying they replaced them both. So then asked for a price on LED fogs to have a matching set of all LED. 4 weeks the left fog goes out. Now Im frustrated done paid slot of money for these lights an I DC not know if I should even take time to even invest my time going back an forth with them . Run around an frustrated

Great customer service! I went there for a remote start, not knowing the difference in any of the brands or types. Sam took the time showing me all different types of remote starts and made sure I got one that fit my needs without over selling me on more then I needed. I went back a few days later for the install, which was done very quickly. Sam made sure I knew how to use it before I left and was extremely helpful.

Brought in my 2013 Nissan to have a new head unit upgrade i had purchased installed along with front and back Hertz speakers and an amplifier I purchased from Automotive Concepts installed, first of all, I would like to thank the guy for installing my parts I purchased elsewhere some places wont do this at all and i must add he was a pretty nice guy very friendly.after further inspection of the install, Automotive Concepts did a great job installing all of my new equipment very clean install and i honestly couldnt be happier with the sound of the systemI recently had radiation therapy for cancer treatment and lost some of my hearing from the radiation and my old stereo was an aftermarket JVC head unit not a bad radio but with the stock speakers I just wasnt able to hear it good unless I had it turned nearly all the way up and it didnt sound too good now with the Hertz speakers recommended by Automotive Concepts my music is crystal clear the quality of these speakers amazing.I look forward to having my alarm, subwoofers and a few other things installed by Automotive Concepts in the near future and I will definitely recommend them to any friend or family member looking for high-quality car audio equipment and a competent installer with reasonable prices.

Botched the install and damaged the steering sensor. Returned the truck in unsafe condition and refused to reimburse the cost of repair. AVOID THIS PLACE JUST BAD BUSINESS !!!!Follow up: received a call stating corporate is reviewing and will contact you. BIG SURPRISE NO CONTACT.Next step is filing this case in small claims court... Sad that it has to come to this.Here it is 8 months later and still no effort to resolve this even after promises that a reimbursement check was being sent.Sadly they dont care about their customers or their reputation.

Where do I start. These guys are the best. Good clean professional work in a timely manner. I don’t let anyone else touch my cars but these guys. I’ve customized interior and exterior work on my 2012 Kia Optima. I’ve also had work done on my 2014 Audi A6. I’ve had work done on my 2013 Hyundai Sonata. I’ve also had work done on my 2010 can am spyder. They also offer financing which was a plus for me since I’ve had so much work done. Ive always had success with a small business/independently owned car audio shops. This place maybe located in a strip mall & may look small but Joe and Cal are NO beginners nor an exceptions to the rule. Theyve since upgraded all of my speakers, worked on my calipers, re-did all my lighting, and added a FREE CUP of Coffee from Dunkin Donuts from next door. Theres nothing negative I can think of to say about this shop. My wife and I have been coming here basically since theyve opened up their doors. They excel at all areas. Polite customer service, prompt, quick expert quotes, and fair prices. They care very deeply about your car and want you to always come back with any questions or concerns. Went there to get my amp tuned, they basically tuned it by ear and my speakers sounded horrible. Went back again to see if they could fix it but that was a horrible idea. After the man couldnt tune the amp to sound like they were supposed to the guy suggested that I go back to where I got them from.Well I went back to Cartronix and they made them sound fantastic, never going to this place again. Especially after seeing them up sell the customer before me.

Can I give a negative rating??? What a scam artist. Samir wrecked my new 2018 Ford F250. The wire harness burnt from front to back and all they could say is You have to take it to the dealer NO BUDDY, You burnt it YOU take it to the dealer. When your brand new truck smells like burnt electronics it leaves little confidence for the customer. Mistakes happen, but the get the hell out of my shop attitude is not right. Take your hard earned dollars to a shop that cares enough to hire experienced help. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

I was recently in the market to upgrade my audio and stumbled upon Automotive Concepts while reading local reviews. I actually live pretty far from this location but Id rather support a family owned business over the larger corporate chains any day so I drove over to see what they had to offer.Immediately upon walking in, Cal stopped the work he was doing in the garage to come up and see what he could do for me. Right from the beginning I could tell that this was going to be a great experience. I told Cal I was looking to get a quote for some subs, an amp and installation. What I had initially thought was just going to be a grueling 10 minute sales pitch completely unrelated to what I wanted turned out to be exactly the opposite. Cal listened to the requests that I had and he very quickly came up with two initial set ups that he knew would match what I wanted. Now on this particular day, I was being extremely difficult and kept trying to find something wrong with his suggestions which meant that he and Sam then had to basically run me through their entire inventory and at that point I understood that they knew what I wanted/needed more than I did. Even though I was not being easy to work with, neither one of them stopped smiling for a second and the whole time they were eager to answer my neverending questions.By the end of what seemed like over an hour of me being indecisive, I chose to go with Cals initial recommendation. At that point we scheduled the installation for a couple days later and I was good to go.. By the time I got home, I started to doubt that the amp they suggested was going to have enough power for the two 12 subs we chose... I emailed Cal and let him know my concern and within minutes he assured me that we would assess this together when I came in for the installation.When I came back for the install, Cal and Sam immediately pulled my car into their garage and started working on it. In just a few short hours, everything was done and it was time for me to see what they had accomplished. As soon as I walked into the garage and started to look at the work they had done, I could tell that they werent just professionals, they treated this like an art. Every possible detail was about as perfect as I had ever seen and I doubt that anyone would be able to notice that aftermarket work was done to it. It was just that pristeen! The best part of course was when the music started playing and I realized just how wrong I was for ever doubting their expertise. The bass was impeccable, much louder than I anticipated, but overall just clean. Clean sound, clean appearance, clean delivery. It doesnt get any better than this, I promise you that!

Tried to charge me 200$ for two key fobs, but a whole new system costs 200$.

I was her for my sons Jeep Grand Cherokee to install a navigation system & Joe & John showed me all the features of 2 different units they were offering. I went to best buy over the weekend, then to another store that had no product on display & then came here. I was not familiar with any of the models they were showing as im not a big audiofile guy, but Joe took his time & really showed me how it works, & the real differences between the 2 units. I had my son stop by & review my selection & he agreed that he felt very comfortable with the salesman & when he met the installer he felt the he really understood what we wanted. The installer John i felt was very knowledgable & very helpful even suggesting we wait before upgrading the speakers already installed as the vehicle is still brand new. We took his advice & feel he saved us atleast $500.00. Where everywhere else told us we need to change the speakers if we were planing on upgrading to a navigation system. If your in the market for a new stereo or speakers i would see Joe & John.

Terrible customer service. I made an appointment to have a stereo installed in my 2006 Mercedes. When I arrived on time the morning of. The guy acted like he was having a phone conversation and told me the dash kit he had ordered was cracked and that the replacement would take 2 and a half weeks. What a lie. I had already done my research on the installation and the part he said would take 2 and a half weeks to arrive can be delivered the next day from several online merchants. He completely wasted my time! Could have been man enough to call me to cancel and admit that he either over booked or couldnt do the work. Not once did he try to reschedule so that let me know he was on bs.

I had been to the store multiple times looking to buy some components for my doors. Once I finally settled on some Phoenix Gold 6.5s that the guy talked me into I bought them. I felt like I had overpayed. $180 after it was said and done WITHOUT installation. I had chose to do them myself, keep that in mind. After this I go to install them and the speaker terminals are all full of solder and copper wire. They had been used!! I was outraged. I returned the following day demanding a refund, but they said they DO NOT DO REFUNDS. Keep that in mind also. All they did was switch them out. After I asked to talk to a manager he gives me a smirk and says he isnt here. I asked when he would be back and he said I have no idea. Very unhelpful...I would not send my enemies here. Please listen to me and steer clear.
