We got donuts delivered from Door Dash on Saturday morning. I was visiting and had heard good things about this place so I wanted to try it out. We ordered a half dozen variety, which gave a good mix of glazed, iced, and filled donuts.I have a feeling they didnt travel particularly well but they were still tasty. These were my nephews first donuts. He particularly liked the Cheesecake one (it was topped with graham crackers).I would recommend going in person to see what they have available that day but definitely recommend!

Great most of the time. Awesome donuts. Great customer service except for one female that is rude every time I go in there. I asked her one day to use an extra box when the amount of donuts I was getting that day did not fit in two and said it was because I didnt want them smashed. So she tells me We got this (very dismissively) and continues to shove donuts into a box thats clearly not going to close flush without smashing down donuts. They were slanted and overlapping each other. I was going to get a dozen that day. She had told me its six per box, but if Im getting donuts that are larger than average, I think a third box could be used to preserve the quality. I stopped selecting after she told me that to avoid them getting smashed even more and only got 10 that day. Now every time I go in there and she is there I order between 7 and 9 donuts to get them spaced well in the boxes because we love their donuts so some bad service wont deter me from going but its still an annoying adjustment. We usually check out what their featured donut is and get some of those. They tend to be a little large, which is awesome, but that means you cant fit 6 in a box. But man is she determined to make it happen.

Amazing place! The guy at the front was fantastic in helping us decide what to try when we wanted ALL OF THEM! And they lived up to the hype. Will go again anytime I we get the chance. Love this place!

Great doughnuts. Go in the mornings because their hours are all over the place in the afternoons/evenings and just randomly close.

Ordered 6 different donuts, hated all of them, they tasted stale even though I had gotten them at 10 am...especially the fruity pebble one and maple bacon which I was looking most forward to. I was dismayed by this pitiful performance and will not be returning but I wish the store good luck as the owners are actually good people

Had Strange Donuts for the first time since they reverted back to original recipe. Let me tell you, those were some of the best donuts. I had the Ding Dong and the 1/2 Pound Strawberry donuts. The dough was perfect not too dry or crumbling like in the past but just some super solid dough. The filling and flavoring really topped off the donuts.If my stomach is ok in the morning after eating all of these donuts then I will def be back!

This was my first time trying Strange and after all of the rave reviews I was super excited because my Chef senses tingle around interesting food combos and flavor profiles. However, I was really disappointed. The cake donuts were dry, the glazes and icings were poorly executed, and the flavor profiles were WAY off. To be fair, I did understand where the original creator was trying to go with their creations (Arya’s Strawberry Surprise had SO much potential), but the execution on the donuts I received was horrible. At this point, I’m not inclined to rush out and re-order from Strange, but if I’m ever in the area of the original location, I might pop in and give them another shot.

Super friendly staff, and the donuts were awesome. Not incredibly sweet and the dough was really high quality.

Not only are their dones and coffee the best in the area, the team is extremely nice and goes above and beyond to make sure you are served well.

Good variety but sadly they are just mediocre gas station donut quality, and the prices are a little high for the quality, in my opinion. There are better Donuts out there. Will not return for more.

Super stoked that they offer vegan donuts. Ive had them on more than one occasion and theyve always tasted fresh. Unfortunately, theyre a little pricy - I paid almost $5 for 2 vegan donuts. Friendly service in a convenient location, but its a little pricy for me.

STRANGLEY disappointing.DOUGHT-NOT think this place is worth a trip out of the way for. The Maplewood location has the largest selection of donuts by far.The Creve Coeur location is good example of the dangers that come with expanding too fast too soon.The first time I went I was very disappointed for example the donuts were dry, heavy, cakey and not fresh. Almost like the donuts were made at a different location, refrigerated (which could explain the dryness) then transported days later for sale.The donuts tasted like they came from a DIY cake box. I went back and tried again thinking this was a one off moment and sadly it was not. The filled donuts were not very full. I have more fillings in my teeth then these donuts did. What little filling was present ould be described to be lacking in flavor and was bland. It was essentially old butter and sugar, no vanilla or hint of flavoring. This is not what I would expect from a boutique premium donut restaurant. I would expect these donuts to be the kind you find day old at a gas station or a complimentary hotel breakfast.Additionally it is a shame they put their beautifully decorate donuts in plain sack for them to be sloshed around on the drive home. I would expect a box or some type of container better suited to transport when your paying premium prices.I did enjoy the original location and hopefully they can bring the quality of their Creve Coeur location up to par.

Strange Donuts is an emporium. I mentioned to the counter person that Dierbergs was selling donuts for $.89 and they were selling donuts for $2.49. She said they were trying to compete with Strange Donut. I had to agree with her. I had a piña colada doughnut with rum icing and filled with a non-dairy vegan custard. Scrumptious!!! The people are very nice. They held the door for me. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
