They were very timely. I had used them for 2 different services… Fixed the furnace blower motor and control board…A/C has been working great every since then.

From the sales guy to installation everything was seamless. They offered 60 months 0 interest same as cash financing, was able to install 4 days later! Which was awesome with it being 90 degrees with no A/C they replaced my AC/Heat Pump and air handler. Took only a day, crew wore shoe covers, masked up, cleaned up after finishing. Highly recommend them.

We have used other local places for years and have seen their quality consistently go down, whether they show up at all/ late for appointments or techs who don’t even actually look at the HVAC to diagnose the issue.Once Grove came out, they were able to diagnosis the issue by looking at the AC unit vs just telling us it was working and moving on. Last year I bought a contract with Grove. I had used them a couple times for emergencies & decided to get a contract for my HVAC unit. They set up 2 cleanings for the year & all went well.I didnt know I would soon find out how beneficial it was. I had my 1st company in since Covid & a house remodel. They came in from Oregon to visit. It was a very hot week last week & the house kept getting warmer. In hours they were so hot & miserable. They werent used to our heat & humidity. I realized the air conditioning wasnt working when I was miserable too. I had had no problems before.I had to get it fixed & fast. I called Grove & with my plan I had a discount on labor & they came out for free. They also came within hours that same day.I was so grateful that they were so fast. That is not guaranteed but they always have come as quickly as possible.They are friendly, kind, knowledgeable & professional. In no time they found out what the problem was, had the part & fixed it & got us cooled down . It made the rest of the trip very comfortable for all of us when it was so hot out. I am so grateful. Had a great experience with Grove this morning. One of our homes two air conditioners had stopped cooling. Groves technician examined the equipment and quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor and low coolant. In about an hour or less, our two-zone HVAC system was inspected, repaired, and back to work. Groves technician was knowledgeable, efficient and polite, and answered all of my questions. I recommend Grove wholeheartedly.

Grove charged my system and when a leak was found, identified the link and repaired it in one business day. This was also during the heat wave. My family only had to suffer with no AC for one day during peak season. Grove did a great job.

We have been using this company since 2007. They replaced our old Heat Pump with a new Trane heat pump and have been performing semi annual maintenance and repairs to the system. Most recently they replaced the fan ion the inside unit and replaced the fuses for the outside unit caused by a power outage. Always professional, on time, and reasonably priced. The service, from start to finish, was top notch. I called Friday afternoon to see about scheduling someone to come in and put in our smart thermostat, I think I asked them for a quote to put in A smart thermostat and didn’t make sure they knew we had our own, anyway the appointment for an estimate was today but because of my miscommunication after we hung up the phone I get a callback fairly quickly to confirm if we had one or needed them to install one of their thermostat’s. I’m so sorry to say that I have completely forgotten the lady who answered my first call and then called back, but she was exceptional, once we got it straightened out our appointment was then set up for today with a four hour window and the technician, Drew, called 30 minutes into our window and said he was on his way. He showed up at the the time he said and was very professional from the minute he got here. He also took the time making sure everything worked and that my husband and I were comfortable with the thermostat before he left. Also the price they quoted was the price charged. We will definitely be using Grove Heating & Cooling again! Thank You for such great service.

These guys are top notch. I purchased my HVAC systems from another company years ago and was getting the maintenance done through them. However, their service folks were more interested in trying to sell me additional add-ons (e.g., whole house humidifier system) than answering basic questions I had about the existing system. It is for that reason that I switched to Grove. They are a no-nonsense reliable company that do a careful and thorough job when it comes to HVAC maintenance. I have an annual contract with them and plan to keep it for as long as they continue to do good work!

Well never use another company so long as we are in this area! Last Sunday we had an issue with our compressor, I woke up to the thermostat reading 82 degrees whilst set in 70. I called Grove and they were amazing-everything from customer service, punctuality, and the price were spot on. I waited 30 minutes from the time I called to have someone at my door. He was upfront about pricing and FAST!! We could feel the A/C kick in before be left our home. Super impressed. Didnt try to sell us anything, which made it even better! After moving into our new home during the winter months four years ago, our geothermal unit stopped working. From the previous owners records, we called the company that put the unit in (the unit was only eight years old), they came and inspected the unit, they said the unit needed replacing and they wanted almost $20,000 to replace it. It would take them two weeks to finish and wanted to charge us $800 for heaters to heat a couple of rooms. We heard about Grove through a friend, they came out, gave us heaters, at no cost, and replaced the unit. It took Grove less than half the time as the other company would have taken and weve been with them ever since. The service people we have dealt with have all been friendly, very professional, and knowledgable. I recommend Grove Heating & Cooling for anyone needing those services.

The technician that came to assist us, lets call him J - was on time, courteous, well prepared and pleasant. After I explained the issue to him he proceeded to methodically check the system for faults, all the time explaining what he was doing and why. He was very thorough, and in 15 minutes was able to identify and diagnose what technicians from three prior companies could not. I believe the problem has now been fixed, and our AC appears to be in fine working order. Over the years I have dealt with more than 10 HVAC companies in the MD area for both personal and investment property, and can unequivocally say that this has been my most positive experience to date. I will gladly go back to them in future should the need arise, and will be recommending them to friends and family.

The Groves truly made my HVAC experience one of the best large purchases Ive ever made. They were honest and not pushy at all. They provided me with several financing options and explained them very well. They texted me prior to let me know that Austin and his two helpers would be arriving in the next 30min-1hour. I was appreciative so I could arrange for my dog to not bark. When Austin arrived (on time) he was covered with all of the proper PPE and extremely nice. He graciously walked me through what they were going to do and then left me alone. The next time I saw them they were leaving just before dark. The job looks very professional and my family is now very comfortable. I would recommend them to everyone I come in contact with. Very professional service, from bid to completion. They replaced two older heat pump systems, in just two days (June 3,4). Techs wore overshoes and masks, and laid floor protection. Cleanup was excellent.Both new Trane systems performed well on the hottest of days, keeping the house very comfortable. Systems were much more efficient as reflected in a substantially lower power bill.

We needed to replace our aging heat pump system. Representatives from three companies gave us proposals for three different manufacturers system. Although all three were professional and competent, Brian Kelly from Grove stood out. I had done considerable research before getting proposals and had advice from HVAC experts on the questions to ask potential installers. Brian answered all questions honestly, and displayed a thorough knowledge of the equipment. He didnt try to up-sell me, and didnt trash his competitors. The installers were prompt, professional, and kept me informed from beginning to end. I am impressed with Grove Heating and Cooling, and would recommend them without hesitation.

Grove came out and performed maintenance on my unit. I had them re-angle the condensate line. For some reason, the technician pulled out the brand new filter and crumpled it up. I had no problem getting the filter in our out, so I wonder why they did that. It was brand new and now I have to go out and buy another one.

Live in new home in Two Rivers. Odenton, md. Already in first 6 months the ac and heating has stopped working. Because everything is still under warranty, we always call the installation company for repairs. This past weekend the heating went out! It was very cold and windy. Called many times to no avail. Finally called Grove Heating and Cooling for guidance. Tech was responsive and helpful. We had him come to the house to diagnose the problem. We wanted a second opinion as it were... he told us it was a faulty thermostat, not the actual furnace. So when the warranty company finally comes, we will know whats going on! Thank you Grove! Wow, just when I thought people had forgotten what service was supposed to mean we lucked into this company. From the lady who answered the phone and actually cared about our circumstances to the gentleman that showed up in about an hours time we were given the best, most courteous treatment I can recall. Our problem was rectified, our system was inspected for any other potential problems (none found), all our questions were answered and our faith in humanity restored.

I found this company by chance and am so glad I did. They charged way less than the other AC repair companies I got estimates from, they came out right away, and fixed the problem pronto. Will definitely be using them again! Very pleasant young man who did the repairs, as well.

I called Grove H&C because my a/c was blowing warm air. They scheduled someone to come out the next day. Mike was great, very pleasant, and explained everything he was doing. Olivia in customer service was also very pleasant. Along with great service I appreciate great customer service as well. I will definitely call Grove again and recommend them.

After contacting them with the details of my experience, I am frankly shocked that they would ask me to recommend them. They diagnosed a leakin my HVAC as a cracked drain-pan and wanted over $1,000 to replace it. A second repair service found several years’ worth of dust beneath the pan, indicating no leak. They also poured water into the pan and found no leak. The Grove technician did not perform any tests, but immediately assumed the most expensive problem. The actual repair cost only $120.

I had already had another company come in to fix the AC portion of my 1-year old HVAC split unit. They fixed several things that had been done wrong during the install but it still wasnt working and the guy felt all that was left was that the convector had gone bad.I then brought in Grove for a second opinion. The person first also said things pointed to a bad convector but he kept looking and found another mistake in the install and a very reasonable $240 later, my AC was fixed. A new convector would have been thousands. Its now been a couple months and my AC is still working. VERY happy.

We have never had any issues with Grove they were always professional and on time. The one suggestion I have for them is that when you buy a new system from them at least give something to the customer as an appreciation after using their services for many years. The only thing I would also mention is that when they installed our new unit, they cut our wires for the BGE smart program and never informed us that they did and the service manager basically told us that its not their problem it was cut and that it was my responsibility to call BGE and get it hooked back up and wasnt sure if there was a charge to it or not. I was not happy that.

Our AC went out when temps were 94 degrees. I called other companies and the soonest other companies could come out was 5 days later! I called Grove and they ask if I wanted them to come out today. I was so thankful they could come out so quickly. Our time window was from 10am- 2pm. With temps still really high I imagine they had a full schedule. At 1pm they still had not called to say they were on their way but the office did call to let me know that I was the next stop and that the tech was finishing up the current job. That is great customer service!!! They knew I was counting every minute in the heat and made sure that I didn’t feel forgotten. The tech was very professional, answered all my questions, and thankfully had the part that needed to be replaced with him. Cost of the service and part was very reasonable. I will definitely recommend Grove!

Exceptional Service and super quick turn around for installation. The sales agent came to my house for a quote within hours of my request, provided me with a reasonable quote, on the spot and was able to schedule my installation within 3 days. I didnt even get return phone calls from the other companies for quotes, until after our system was installed. The installers with professional and efficient. Plus installation includes a 1 year warranty. Highly recommend!

I contacted Grove to service two (one for each floor) heat pumps and associated air handlers. The heat pumps sit next to each other on the outside of the house. I didnt get any indication that there would be any problem with servicing both units on the same visit or that the rep wasnt clear on the service order. I wasnt there when the tech came, but i got an invoice immediately upon service completion from the tech and noticed the amount due was less than i was told and the tech noted there were two units, but wasnt given instruction to do both. I immediately called Grove and asked if both units were done and was told not. I asked if the tech was still close to go back and was told no and if i wanted the other unit done i would need another appointment. So, we did that.After the 2nd one was done, i noted on the invoice that the filter wasnt changed. I called Grove and asked about that. This unit sits behind a wall and tenants tend to not change it, and it likely hadnt been changed in a year. As i understood the rep on the phone, checking the filter, the very simplest, and preventative thing that can be done on an HVAC system isnt even checked by the tech. If he wouldve just pulled the filter, he wouldve seen it needed changing. Filters are on hand in the house. Not even checked. More so, the rep was pretty ambivalent to the whole discussion. I called these guys because they were rated very high. I dont plan to call them again. If you do call them, just make sure youre there when theyre working. Otherwise, you might be disappointed as i was.

This summer I replaced my unit and was very pleased from start to finish with everyone at Grove. I was given a couple of options with honest opinions from the sales rep. I had gotten a previous quote from another reputable company and Groves prices along with the promotions were a lot better. On the day of install 3 guys came out and did a wonerful job. Two things that really impressed me with this company : they let me borrow 2 air conditioner window units until they were able to install my system and they sent me a tin of gourmet cookies as a thank you gift for shopping with them! Thank you Grove for taking care of my heating and cooling need!

Had a new HVAC system installed in 2018, with yearly maintenance this spring. Price was competitive, and the install went well. All workers and staff that I dealt with were knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I am very satisfied with the new heat and air units. In particular they do a great job of cooling our hard to cool upstairs bedrooms in our Bowie cape. I chose Grove Heating and Air because it felt like a company with integrity, and I am happy to report that more than a year later I feel the same way.
