The owner is friendly. He doesnt mind explaining the different spices/sauces used in their dishes. My πͺ & I try a new dish at least twice a month. Delicious πKabobs, tasty Gyros. And the mild or spicy Lamb over π. π
Strongly recommend. Every dish was layered with so much flavor. The biryani was so intricate. Spicy, but packed with a rich profile.Samosas...right, you think you know what youre getting. But these were Incredibly flavorful and delicious. This place is a perfect hole-in-the-wall.
I tried the chicken and lamb gyro mix over rice, the food is fresh and good quality. The South Asian/Middle Eastern grocery selection is small but good as well. I tried some of the frozen food options and they were good as well. Great to have a different affordable food option in the area.
I have been looking for a great kabab/middle eastern cuisine restaurant for a long time now and I am glad to say I have found it. Ive had a few things from here and everything tasted amazing! Their chicken over rice and combo over rice (lamb and chicken) was everything I had hoped for. The flavor and spices were amazing. Their half chicken dish was also superbly made. The owner and chef are very kind and accommodating. Their Lassi is awesome too! If you like middle eastern food this is definitely the place you want to go to. Im glad I decided to give it a try when I saw their sign.
I tried the lamb gyro and beef seekh kabob for lunch today. The meat was plentiful and wonderfully seasoned. Will definitely go here again.
I really enjoy the spicy gyro they have. Chicken Samosas were well seasoned as well. I would definitely eat here again.
Ordered lamb gyro multiple times (both bread & rice options) and they always have been a hit! Owner is a good guy as well.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! Itβs fairly new and I absolutely recommend that you try it out. Iβve gone a few times already to try the different dishes so this is a long overdue review. First off, everything Iβve ordered so far has been AMAZING. The dishes are delicious with generous portions. Are you a fan of lamb and/or chicken over rice? Then you NEED to try their combo over rice. Meat to rice ratio is on point, flavorful yet not overbearing. Add on some hot sauce (if thatβs your jam) and youβre in for a good time. Do you like your bowl smothered? No problem, just ask for extra sauce but personally I think itβs awesome as is with just enough sauce so you can really taste each chunk of meat and morsel of rice. The owner is very sweet and friendly. Donβt know what you want? Just ask him for suggestions. He makes everything fresh so donβt forget to call in your order ahead of time! Also, you need to try the mango lassi mmm... sweet and savory mango yogurt drink goodness in your mouth... Iβd throw in some pictures but I get too excited to eat everything by the time I get home. Priorities. -Caroline
This place is extremely good, very good price and amazing taste highly recommend
This is great place to order authentic take out food. Prices are very reasonable and food quality is great.
Please be honest with the customer. Very disappointed with their service.
Went for the first time. The service was amazing, and friendly. I ordered lamb Gyros, samosas chicken and chaat. Everything was delicious. The service was great, the selections are great. I willbe frequenting this establishment more in the near future.
The Lamb Boti plate tasted very good. The rice is very flavorful and went well with the meat which was marinated. I would purchase this dish again.
Incredibly good middle eastern food! Best lamb gyros Ive had in the Bowie area - lamb chunks are super tender and the flatbread almost tastes like it was deep fried. If youre feeling adventurous try the Chicken Achan - its chicken curry with pickle spices and its insanely delicious. My only feedback would be that I wish they included complementary sauces with your order (like raita, tzatziki or chutney). We did takeout through Grubhub, havent dined in yet.
OFF the HOOK Delicious! (this is a review for the restaurant-side, not the market): First time trying this place, and it did NOT disappoint! BEST GYRO in the area!; Similarly, those following a Mediterranean diet (or who just love those dishes) will find lots of options, too. The Falafel Gyro, samosas, and the Chicken Seekh Kabob are all SUPER-RICH with herbs and spices in a perfect blend. Knew I was in for a treat on the drive home, as my convertible filled up with amazing aromas in spite of having the top down! π Very flavorful without being too salty or needing any hot-sauce or other condiments. Best Halal dishes Ive had since spending time in/around the Arabian peninsula many years ago (looking at YOU, Iskenderun Grill, Bahrain!!). Reasonably priced and portions are just right (neither skimpy nor too large), so eating there is a great Value! Also, The Market side offers a wide assortment of value-priced, bulk packages of spices, Basmati rice (8+ different types!), boxed Middle-Eastern meal/sauce kits, large jarred (wet) ground ginger and garlic, and other hard-to-find ingredients for home-cooks (restaurant-chefs, too!) Ill definitely be back! π
It was ok, not really great. The Palak Gosht was $19.99 and was pretty slim on the lamb. Just a bunch of spinach. The chicken tikka masala was ok. Iβll probably stick with other restaurants that have similar food.
We have only ordered chicken entrees (Chicken Gyro, Chicken Tikka masala, and chicken boti kabob) and all I can say is DELICIOUS! Wish there was more of the entrΓ©e less rice. Also, the food is not greasy like many of the places around Crofton....Will definitely be coming back.
I have tried several dishes since they opened for carry out meals. chicken biryani and the tiki masala both were very good!
Disappointed! What they did with us was blown my mind, I asked for organic chicken and they gave me older chicken or something which was not chicken some other bird- horrible experience. Even after cooking it was like not getting tender and still it kept hard like some stale chicken or expired chicken they have given me.We had party at our home and in front of guest we had embrassement and finally we have to order food from outside. After hearing about new shop in our area we thought of getting chicken from there and so disappointed. I wonβt be recommending to anyone. They are not loyal to their customers how they will run their business. God knows!
So upset. I came in to buy lamb and was sold what I thought was a leg of lamb at a very high price. I brought it home and prepared it and found out it was actually goat which I do not eat. Very sad to discover I would be treated this way.
Great food, Great Service, Great people! Thanks for always taking care of us!
I buy lot of thing is chicken, bread, masala,. Drinks, more I give five star to it I like all the things very much I also try the chicken the chicken is really good in taste πππ
Yesterday I bought chicken from them, even after cooking for 1 hr the chicken were extremely hard and chewy. The pieces were so lean especially the leg pieces. The most unfortunate part was I had some guest at my home. Right after trying one piece everyone on the table were disappointed. I was extremely embarrassed. This was the first time buying from a new shop. Must say I have never faced such kind of humiliation onthe dining table.
FOOD IS GREAT
Great food
