Went looking for washer and dryer. They had a bunch to look at but none in stock. Everything had to be ordered and they had no idea when it would arrive, no idea at all. Thats ok if you need it in the future but if you need it now its not much help.

Slow service. Had to wait while the 3 men talked about and got busy arguing with customer on the phone. Lack professional attitude.

It was very difficult getting assistance to evaluate an elliptical machine. The first salesperson asked if I had any questions, only to stumble through a lot of misinformation including telling me they didnt have any in stock and it would have to be ordered. I then asked if it could be plugged in so the unit could be turned on to evaluate the features. He told me they dont have any way of plugging them in because there isnt any power near them. The manager then got involved and started our conversation with the same excuse. I suggested using an extension cord and the manager said that they usually dont connect them because people would try them and purchase online. Long story short, they dont understand the basics of good customer service or best business practices. I ended up purchasing the unit and suddenly they were much nicer. Oh, did I mention the manager said they had one in stock? I dont think any aspect of Sears will survive. I could have purchased the same item on Amazon for the same price with no hassles assuming there were no problems with delivery or product conditions. If good customer service isnt going to be provided, what incentives are there for shopping in any brick and mortar stores? Its sad when the customer has to help the store make a sale.

Im sorry to see Sears struggling to stay open. Ive trusted Sears for shoes and clothing, appliances and tools for decades. Their clothes are a little pricey, but there are bargains if you look for them. We bought a great vacuum cleaner from a Sears store a couple years ago. Our local store only sells tools, appliances and some tvs.

They had a few mowers there to choose from but when I told them what I needed it for, they referred me to one they had just gotten in that was a little less expensive but exactly what I needed. So far, my experience here has been great.

Very misleading on the get it now lease program. Actually higher than rent to own stores. They wont answer their phone at 6:15 when they say they are open until 7pm.

I bought a 4000.00 refrigerator and asked them to deliver it. They had to take the doors off to get it in. When they put the doors back on, they crimped the wires and damaged one or more of the mother boards. When I went to the store to tell them what the Sears technician said, I got a lecture about how I shouldnt have bought such a big freaking refrigerator. (his words not mine). In the end I had them to pick it up and took my business to Lowes. Ill never spend my money here again

I been shopping at the Crossville sears store for all of my appliances the store personal are always very nice and are always helpful and take time to care for my needs and there is never any pressure to buy some thing that you dont need or wanted. Thank you,Mrs Rutherford

Bait and switch on so called lease program....says a item costs this much and ends up being nearly double. Bad business model, no wonder the Sears brand is going bankrupt. Listen to your customers complaints and resolve them.

They run big sale ads but if you arent there the first day youre not going to get the item you want. They claim they are only sent limited stock and once out cant get more or issue rain checks. No wonder Lowes is always crowded.
