Golf courses quality, value and experience are amazing. This review is specifically about the Bertram experience. My experience was mediocre due to the quality of the rental unit until I may a simple inquiry about if we could extend our check out a hour or two later in order to have time to shower before we departed on our journeys home. I spoke with JP from Bertram and he had horrible customer service with poor manners and disrespectful responses/tone. I was simply calling to ask a question and it was as if I asked him for his first born child. This made me realize I had been far too tolerant of the quality of the unit and the lack of customer care. Our units door locks barely work, none of the interior doors shut and if you force them shut they can barely be opened. Lighting is poor. Exterior door to one of the bedrooms doesn’t shut properly and makes the bedroom extremely humid. Carpet in the bedrooms is dirty. End tables are unstable. There is no central air and one of the bedroom HVAC units is extremely old and barely functioning. Multiple lighting fixtures aren’t working or are are missing bulbs. Overall quality of the unit and customer service is very disappointing. We will be staying elsewhere next year.
2nd year booking with Bertram, I coordinate our trip each year and it was super easy working with these guys, very flexible with us right up to check-in. I would not say the condos are luxury but we find them perfect for four guys. We had four condos and all were very nicely remodeled on the inside. There are some minor things if you are picky but the kitchens were really nice, beds very comfortable, nice flat screens to watch our games, and very clean. Location is great, Stonehinge and Heatherhurst courses are within 5 minutes drive.The golf courses are unbelievable for the price. Some of the prettiest views Ive seen on a course and they have been in near perfect shape both years, we love the elevation change and the views hole to hole. It didnt hurt that the weather was absolutely perfect as well. THanks Jon and J. P. for everything this year, well be back.
I was totally disappointed in our condo. The Golf Villas in Fairfield Glade. The pictures on your website are VERY misleading. The only upgrade on the condo we stayed in since it was built in 1972 was the TV. And I assumed we would have the basic toiletries like shampoo but we didnt. Also, i assumed we would have linen service since we were staying 3 nights but we didnt. Having to use the same towel for 3 days/showers was pretty sad. As far as the golf goes, I was shocked when we were greeted at the roadside rundown building at a walkup window. And having to use paper vouchers? I felt like we were back in the 70s (the same time our condo was furnished). The Glades courses were really nice as was Bear Trace but driving 3-1/2 hours to play Lake Tansi...hell I wouldnt play that if I lived there.
Best priced golf packages with best courses and best tee times. Great crew at the shop too. Highly recommended. Tell JP, Big Jon and Jeffery hello for free insults!!!! Guys are the best

Business Owner Rick Bertram likes to post on social media and pretend he is a Dr. and a COVID expert. He will insult anyone who tries to provide him with facts. He thinks the COVID vaccine has nanoparticles in it to track him. He is completely insane.
We had 40 guys show up at Heatherhurst to tee off and found out they didn’t book our tee times for the entire weekend....only getting to play 9 today and now booked at all the bad courses. Done this trip for 20 years and would expect a full comp...not just lodging.
Should have figured out that he was shady from get go. Gonna keep it real first time and last I will use them. Told me he had a chalet for my 12 guys and next thing you know he gave it away after I told my guys what we had. He gave it to a group of his regulars that were bring 16 people . Told me he had a brand new cabin at Oak Haven Resort for us but that was not true because I already had that cabin booked for that same weekend. Canceled that cabin let him book out package at the same cabin I had for a better price I thought. First golf course he booked was a dog patch! Over charged one guy in group (charged him twice) rained out one day check being sent to mefor me to distribute to 12 guys instead of refund on their credit cards.
Golf courses and tee times were great. Friendly people at check in very easy to work with. They even got our tee times moved up so we could play before the rain started. The bad part was the accommodations in the Golf Villias at Fairfield Glade were terrible, worse than terrible if that is possible.. They were dirty, terrible furniture, terrible beds and mattresses . Tvs did not work in bedrooms. They should be ashamed to rent a place this bad.
I am the owner of Bertram Golf Packages, the 2 star review below is clearly a mistake. Mr. Washington worked with another company ran by a Rick Bertram who offers packages in the Gatlinburg/Sevierville area to which we have no affiliation, we don’t even service that area. Same goes for the review by “Kimberly” we have no affiliation whatsoever with Rick Bertram or golf packages in Sevierville/Gatlinburg. I realize this would’ve an easy mistake to make but Mr. Washington and Kimberly, if you happen to see this response we would greatly appreciate if you can remove your reviews and apply them to the appropriate company. You did no work with Bertram Golf packages, we only service the Crossville/Fairfield Glade area. Thank you.
