Great deals on appliances if you dont mind scratching and dentshalf the price of new ones

Attempted to purchase a dishwasher. I got one that said new out of box was called and told it had a huge dent. So i cancelled the order. this part worked well. Purchased a second and picked it up. I was missing on of the dish drawers called described the issues said that if it still ran it wasnt defective. Argued for a bit was told fine whatever bring it in for a return drove back and was told we could only exchange for a different one.Argued for a bit they offered to let us exchange for a different dishwasher brands and models. Nope. had to open a case with Credit card company.

Best place to get appliances if you dont mind moving them by yourself (or with a friend or two)! My refrigerator, dishwasher and now wash machine were purchased there (first 2 when it was still Sears Outlet), and I saved hundreds.

Overpriced yet claims to be discounted. They wont let you take your purchase with you unless the warehouse person is available. In our case was not so we will have to wait another day or whenever to try and get our appliance. We should have shopped around more. Never coming back to this place. Still waiting to be able to pick up our appliance we already paid for. Who needs clean clothes anyways........

Staff was helpful and the inventory was decent, but what top it all is the delivery staff if you do finish ordering something. They were very friendly and go out of their way to ensure a happy transition and delivery.

Absolutely terrible experience. Didnt have what we wanted in stock, but not a big deal. Problem was with the person working the customer service desk this afternoon at 4pm on 12/31/20. He referred us to the store on 27th street stating that the North Chicago location had more appliances and the 27th street location had more furniture. When asked if he could help us find out if they had the item in stock we received an I dont know and that the systems werent linked. Ok, thats fine, how about a remote thought of helping a customer, and a little customer service? Asked where the other store was on 27th, and received another I dont know, somewhere on 27th street... Knowing this conversation was going nowhere fast, we just smiled and left.Drove all the way over to 27th and Howard to find a shabby store with two employees lounging on a display mattress, with little to NO FURNITURE on display. Thanks South Chicago guy for all the help, and not even lifting a finger to call the other store. We could have called if you even helped us with a model number or a sku, but Im sure there would have been another I dont know.Went straight to Ashley Furniture on 27th and Layton, found what we wanted, spent our cash, and pickup is scheduled for next week. Only a 20 min process and $30 more for MUCH better customer service and what seemed like higher quality.Save yourself time and frustration, just choose completely different vendor that you can trust.... I would never recommend this store to anyone!

First, DO NOT GO THERE.If youre looking for broken expensive appliances with a side of horrible service this is the place. MAKE SURE TO READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU SIGN YOUR MONEY AND A BIT OF YOUR LIFE AWAY. Please save yourselves. Emphasis on HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE.

The place was clean, the people there greeted me when I entered and asked.if they could help. Was looking for the scratch and dent Sears so the prices where high for me . Plus they only had the double door style fridges. So limited inside.

Went to the store young female started off helpful. Online say the items are available at location, but it wasn’t built for display. They referred us to the other store on 27th to view the display. They wasn’t helpful to verify if the store was open they said they don’t know. I went back to Packard location to purchase because it’s closer to my home. She then say we don’t have all of the items in stock, I ask to have them ordered she said idk when it will get here. She didn’t know anything. I just return back to the other location they actually told me the shipment comes in next week. Her manager sat there and never greeted us also because he didn’t know how to work the computer. Horrible customer service.

The store was very neat and tidy. The staff was also amazing! Im usually the grumpy person to refuse sales people, but the help I received definitely speaks at the quality of staff over there.

A lot of overpriced junk and useless employees. Their Scratch and Dent appliances are more high priced then the brand new appliances without scratch and dents at other stores.

Very friendly and helpful. Bought a refrigerator for the garage, exactly what we were looking for. Had tables of this and that, from kids blankets to tools..they even had 2 kayaks! Refurbished appliances and mowers etc.

Bought a fridge there last week. Mike the manager was extremely helpful and was accommodating since I needed to get the fridge to Madison. Top notch customer service and pricing! Highly recommend.

Aside from not having essential parts to The bed frames the young “lady” (I use that word sparingly) who assisted us, was extremely rude. I went in to buy 3 bedroom sets and left with nothing because we were neither greeted and when we finally got assistance it was like we were a huge inconvenience. I will never go to the Cudahy location again. 3 employees in the store and we were the only customers, yet no one seemed to want to be any help.

For an outlet store, good selection and friendly staff. I was just looking at their washesr and driers. Good selection and very reasonable prices.

Prices for appliances marked at or above what they sell for at other big box stores. Go buy a unit without damage for the same or less... From a company that may be around in a month or two.

Got a good deal on a washer. Really like that the sales people dont hover. They let us wander around for a long time and waited for us to cometo a decision with out any pressure.

My wife and I werent planning to buy a fridge from an outlet store, but we stopped by as a just-in-case measure. We were pleasantly surprised by how many options they had that fit our bill and preferences. To boot, the staff was very nice and easy to work with. Tom kindly helped us understand the different brands and options, Cheryl was so easy to work with at checkout, Randy was generous in matching an online sears outlet price we found, and Heather helped us after delivery to have the cost of replacing the door handle credited to our card (after it got a ding during delivery). We will keep them in mind if we have future appliances or furniture to buy!

Somewhat sketchy but very good deals. We bought a dryer from a scratch and dent retailer in Milwaukee only to find out (too late) that this Sears Outlet had better dryers for less money. We found out because we bought our oven from this location. Very good deal on the oven, however they charge for delivery and takeaway which wasnt great.Overall, its not a lovely store in a nice location but youll get good deals.

I have bought from here for years, and it has always been a warm friendly place with reasonable prices. Recently, I wanted to purchase a table with chairs. They checked in back and said they had the table and 6 chairs. He charged us for only 4 chairs and we didnt notice until they were loading our vehicle in back. When we came back they said we needed to wait 4-5 weeks. The manager offered to sell me the chairs on the floor at full price, even though one is broken and the others are all scratched up. This was the most ridiculous attempt to solve the problem. I will not shop here anymore. I reccomend going to another discount store where they will be more accommodating.

I had a great experience. The staff were knowledgeable and fast. Further, they let you look a little before talking to you. Would highly recommend this place.

If I could give 0 stars, I would!Was there for almost 45 min. Nobody came to ask if we needed help and we wouldve bought a dishwasher. 2 associates in the store and both were on their phones the whole time we were there. On principal alone, we will NEVER buy from Sears Outlet or any other Sears store! Is customer service just none existent anymore! No wonder they keep going bankrupt!

Cant say enough about the helpful staff. Got what we were looking for at an AWESOME price. Really enjoying our purchase.

Horrible. If your a guy dont even bother stopping here because they only have like 10 shirts and 3 pairs of pants. My wife says that even though there is a lot of stuff its a really old crap. The prices are super low because of the fact its 20 year old crap the stores couldnt sell.

Theres various cool props and stuff in there. The problem is most of it is expensive! Check it out!

Prices arent bad, but dont expect them to honor any warranty, or for that matter, guarantee anything they have on the floor. Bought a scratch and dent fridge from them, and after getting it in the house, upstairs, hooked up, and turned the water on for the ice maker, it began spraying water on the floor. Their solution was for me to pull it back out, and bring it back in for store credit. Thats right, cant get my money back, just the opportunity to buy another potentially busted appliance. No wonder Sears is failing.

I came here to purchase several appliances and the man who helped us was rude. I’ve worked customer service, so I don’t appreciate being treated rudely. I decided not to purchase anything from here for the simple fact that their customer service is bad. Maybe the other employees are good, but this man wasn’t. I would never purchase from here. I’d rather pay more and receive better customer service.

The name is the same but this is not the same store as the one on 27th St. Some of the merchandise does not have prices on it and quality is just not there.

Went looking for a stove. Found one on sale that I could afford but the first time I used it the front oven glass door shattered. They came right out the next day and replaced it at no cost.

Terrible service. Bought a Kenmore floor model refrigerator and it has never worked. They will not exchange because they have not comparable refrigerator. They will not even try to get the another one.Never buy from Sears Outlet.

Back in the 1990s the building where Sears is was Originally Wal-Mart. whichvwas kind of funny because K-Mart is right next door when Wal-Mart was there.K-Mart is still there but Wal-Mart moved South down the block while Sears moved into the Old Wal-Mart location.
