This is my 2nd time going to Packard Auto since the new staff been working. The first time that I had went there because I needed some new tires really bad. So, I called Packard Auto. The receptionist Kira is really nice I had explain my situation to her. She later called me back with price of two (2) tires and said that they would stay open or late until I got there. That was a life saver for me. And Javier and crew put the tires on it mustve been like 20 minutes later I was back on the road. The 2nd time went 4/16/2021 got the other 2 tires and brakes done Javier and crew once again did not disappoint me 4:30 pm in. 5 :15 pm or so out back on the road. I would continue my business there. And the price was reasonable and they didnt try to over sale me for something I didnt need (Maurice)

Ive came to this place twice with my own parts from Rock Auto and they have installed them no problem there very nice and Im definitely going back.

I took my car to Packard Auto after being told by a different shop that I needed work on my vehicles OBD system in order to pass emissions. That other shop quoted me a very high price to diagnose & repair it, I politely declined & took it to Packard Auto instead. The friendly mechanic at Packard Auto checked it out for me, and there was nothing at all wrong with the OBD system. That other shop tried to get me to spend money on an unnecessary repair & because I have a mechanic at Packard Auto that I trust, I saved a lot of money! Thank you for the honest, friendly, & quality service that I always receive at Packard Auto!

I thought I had found a decent mechanic when they did work on a vehicle this past winter. So when I returned for a simple oil change; to have twice been told I could come in only to arrive and be told no sorry in one day. The second time was even an appointment. This is unacceptable and after the rude treatment I got the second time I will not be going back.

Well... All I wanted was to fix a twenty dollar part... They came back with a thousand dollar estimate. I ask them just to fix the problem.... They said they tried... And charged two hundred dollars. Only to take the vehicle home not fixed, having to look at the problem myself. Well... Twenty dollars later... The jalopys back on the road.If they cant get the money they want.... They aint going to help you out!

I was referred to Packard Auto for their reasonable prices and great work they do. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by office manager and helped immediately. I did not know what the issue was with my car, however they were able to find the electrical issue affecting my headlight and fix it all within a hour. All the people who assisted me were kind and honest. In addition, the price was cheaper in comparison to some of the other mechanics I’ve known.

I drive by at least a dozen other shops before I get to them. They have fixed everything thats needed to be fixed without having to bring it back to get re-fixed. They honor the warranties for the parts. I also like because of the distance I live from them the receptionist will drive me home shuttle me home drop me off and if I have to they will come back to get me.

New to the area and I have to say this shop went above and beyond. They have just made a loyal customer. The staff is amazing and treated me with the upmost respect. I dont rate many places but I have to say I would recommend this shop to anyone. They are knowledgeable, timely and make it a point to treat you like family. I look forward to the next time I will need automotive work or have automotive questions.Very very fair in pricing. Paid half of what I would have paid any where else.Thanks guys for all your hard work on my BMW 335i M sport. Really appreciate it.

This is a great business. They truly value being part of the community and in turn take care of their community members; police, firefighters, service members, etc. I never feel like I am being pushed to fix something that is not broken. I will gladly keep taking my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer to Packard auto to keep it running for many years!

Packard auto has been a mainstay in the community for many years. I have been using their services for at least 20 years now. I would recommend taking your vehicle here for that down to earth, no haggle, and up front top notch service.

We went to Packard Auto with the check engine light on that involved the evap system. The first of the three times there, the purge valve (cp702) was replaced. The check engine light went on again. We took it back there and this time it was the vent solenoid. Check engine light went on again a week later. The third time, they took the car, never called us until the next day, to tell us it was the gas cap. Shame on us for even going back the second or third time because the check engine light came on again. This time, we went elsewhere. The emissions evap smoke detected a leak. We had to get the same part as the first time (purge valve cp702) replaced. Never going back there. Spent over 400 dollars and days wasted without a car. Never spending another dollar there.

I am in the automotive business and have worked with this shop in the past. Today I was there as a customer. It was an amazing experience. From the people up front, the guys in the back and the clean bright and inviting waiting area...everything was great.

Incredibly friendly and super reasonably priced!Had a leaking tire I needed fixed and ended up needing a new one. He explained why they couldnt just patch it, which I really appreciated him taking the time to do.

First, I want say not a lot of places allow a customer to bring their own parts to replace. I want to thank Packard Automotive team allows me to bring my parts for repair. They definitely will take the time to do the job correctly the first time. My 2011 F150 needs a new water pump but to get to the water pump youll have to dig through the piping in front of the pump. Loosing the thermostat housing, loosing the belts just to get to the bolts. If you show them you done your homework and buy the correct OEM parts. Theyll go the extra miles to make sure the job is done right! Much appreciate to the TEAM!

So far I am happy with the service everytime. Dont feel like Im being taken. Also when they give you an estimated time to do a job it has been literally right on time or before!

Made an appointment to have a leaking tire fixed. Showed up at the time and was told they were backed up and couldnt do the repair. At this point the tire was almost flat. Had to go to another shop to get the tire fixed so I could drive my car. Not a problem that theyre busy but it would have been nice to have gotten a call informing me in advance before I got there.

Went in to plug my tire service was fast. People were super cool.

Thumbs down since Spendy passed. Went for a break light out. They told me the wrong bulb was in it n they tried the one that was suppose to be in it and it didnt work. I needed an electrical diagnosis with a per hr charge. Took it to another shop ( Astro Auto) and it was my lightbulb. I would not recommend them anymore to anyone. Couldnt even figure out a lightbulb.

Have not been to Packard in many years but saw the upgrades that have been done so I gave them a shot. Facility is clean and looks inviting from what it was and professionalism was outstanding..

I would highly recommend this shop. I brought in both of my cars in the same week, leaving me car-less. The guys at Packard were very accommodating and knowledgeable and got me back on the road very quickly. The cost was very reasonable as well.

I called a few places trying to get a new tire for a damaged one and they either didnt have it, or I would have to wait almost two weeks to get an appointment. When I called Packard Auto they had my size tire, used and I could come in any time. I went on my lunch break and less than 20 minutes later it was done and the tire looks as good as new and for less than a third of what I would have paid new. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone in my situation.

Not so sure now, I thought they were decent when I brought a 4Runner there they diagnosed it well (I know because I already knew the problem but my wife had to take it over) And they estimated labor fairly. Recently they said another car needed front brakes, It was funny because the brakes were brand new, so that was strike one, then they mis-diagnosed another car when it was a easy problem to discover, So needless to say I wont be going here anymore. Even when I said it was probably the fuel pump (Which it was) they still didnt agree it was the fuel pump.

Please dont go to this place if you want to keep your items safe. For months we would call asking for the VIN number so we could put insurance on the vehicle to bring it home to Michigan. We finally had recieved our replacement title from Illinois which gave us the ability to put the insurance on the car to drive it home. Everytime we called for the VIN they would give us a fake VIN. Once we picked up the vehicle we had missing items. Items that were in a bag and go not fit in the car. Brand new GPS and more electronics, which includes a jack. I contacted the owner and he said he would pay for all the missing items. Weeks went by I texted again then recieved a call from the number saying the owner died and she has no idea who is handling it talk to the manager in the morning. The next morning I was laughed at and hung up on. Every time I call I am put on hold for 30+ minutes.Unprofessional. Dont waste your money.

Absolutely the worst place! I took my car in a month ago for a oil change, tune up, and 5 point inspection. I was told everything looked good. Less then a week later not one but 2 tires popped within the same weekend and when i went to get them changed by a different shop i was told that my tires were completely bald. When I asked Matt how they missed that they said things like that can happen which i find hard to believe you missed completely missed since the thread was so worn down metel was sticking out of them. Two weeks after that my check oil light came on. Instead of going to PA I took it to a different shop as i did not trust PA to look at my car.I was just informed that whoever did my last oil change did not put oil back into it as it was bone dry (no leaks) and that whoever replaced the coolant replaced it with water. I now have a blown head gasket on a 2011 car and they are taking no responsibility. Just like how they didnt see my tires being bald.Worst place ever!

Extremely honest, fairly priced, and quick

I have been taking my car to Packard Automotive for about 4 years. I always had good experiences with them, fair pricing, honest. Also, when a catalytic converter failed that they put in, they replaced it free of cost.I am giving them four stars because their shop smells horribly of cigarette smoke. I dont want to go into the shop because I stink when I leave. I feel like coughing when inside. When I get my car back, it stinks for a day.

I had my timing belt, water pump, and AC compressor changed at their shop last week. The car started shaking on highway after I picked it up. I thought it might be something with their work and brought it back to the shop today. It turns out Im wrong. The reason car is shaking on highway is because there is some asphalt sticking on the tire. They cleaned the tire and rotate them without any charge. I would recommend this shop for your car.

Dont waste your time. I was there way too long as they priced out an estimate. They tried to sell me almost almost $1500 in repairs that were unrelated to the problem I came in with. Shame on them.

After years of going to bad mechanics I was recommended to Packard Auto by a longtime Customer of theirs and coworker of mine. I had brought My mazda 929 to 3 other shops before it was finally diagnosed and fixed by packard auto at a fraction of the cost of the other places. My car kept breaking serpentine belts and overheating. after replacing the alternator, and belts and radiator at other shops, I finally brought it into Packard auto and they figured out that it was missing a tensioner of some sort to keep the belt tight. Since then I have brought all of my vehicles to Packard, and I put on roughly 40k miles a year. I will never go to anyone else. Probably the only honest and fair mechanic in the city of milwaukee.

They wanted to charge me $600 to fix a fuel leak. Someone else fixed it for $58 all they had to do was put on a new clip on one of the lines and showed me before and after with it running. This shop did not have it running when they showed me. I wont be going back

This is the worst repair shop ever! They changed my oil and forgot to tighten the oil filter, oil filter leaked and killed the starter. Avoid at ALL costs!
