Once again, Joanns has unique decor for Halloween.

Watch the sale signs. This was next to all the trim...no fur in sight...and refused to honor the sign. This is very misleading. Other sales were similar.

Everyone is always so helpful!! My only complaint is that it is a small store do if youre looking for something for a holiday, thats seasonal, or thats on sale, get there as soon as you can--because they have very limited stock. But they always offer online ordering. The coupons are fantastic.

This store should not be doing in-store pickups-multiple bad reviews over the experience! Here is my horrid experience with the manager Crystal:There should be no stars due to the hostility of the manager Crystal. Never in my life has an employee treated me in such an intimidating and hostile manner. I placed an online order for pickup today at 12:35pm. This was the only location with it in-stock and I figured, although it was out of the way, I would pick it up on my way home. It was not ready for pickup when I arrived at 4:40pm. There was only one customer in the store at the time. I grabbed the item off the shelf and went to the checkout where I waited for 2 minutes before walking the store to find the cashier. I told her I had an instore pickup but that it wasnt showing ready and asked her if she could process it and handed her the item. She wanted me to come back when it was ready! I told her it would be a 30min drive back if I went home and returned and asked if she could just mark the online order as ready for pickup since I grabbed it. She proceeded to cancel the order. She didnt no how to ring it up for the same price so she grabbed her manager Crystal. Crystal slammed her hand on the register and began arguing that I needed to come back for it and it was my fault that the employee cancelled it. She kept leaning over the register trying to intimidate me. After multiple attempts to get her to calm down and ring up my item at the same price, I still ended up paying more for the item then my original order. Crystal asked if the receipt in the bag was okay and of course I said yes, I watched her pretend to put it in the bag but instead she threw it away...RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! I called the corporate office and filed a complaint on my ride home. What a complete nightmare!!!

Your employee, Erin Olszeswski, from the Cudahy store went above and beyond for me yesterday. I had a strange request. I wanted something golden and shimmery to put on my daughters gravesite to celebrate her golden birthday. I walked with her up and down the floral isles and nothing really popped out. She quickly got on her phone to see if her husband could locate some golden spray paint. Erin suggested to me that I spray paint some silk flowers gold. By that time my eyes were welling up with tears. I lost my 25 year old in Sep. 18. Her golden birthday is today, August 27th. Erin was kind and sympathetic. She told me she would take care of it. (Music to my ears) and drop the painted flowers off at my home. With her husband helping her, they brought over 5 big bunches of silk roses with gold outlining and sprayed up the sides of the flowers. They are beautiful!!! Not only did Erin do this on her own time, she paid for everything. She provided much healing in the midst of our pain. Thank you Erin....you rock!

For a neighborhood joanns store it does the trick. In fact I really like it. What I dont like are the staff. What is so hard about wearing a mask. The girls up front were fine. The girl in the back, mask hanging off her chin and didnt seem to care about getting in close proximity with customers.

I am not sure how this store is still in business. This was by far the worst retail experience I have ever had. I placed an order online which indicated 24 hour pick up would be available. However, after 2 days I went to pick up the order and was told it wouldnt be available for multiple weeks because of how busy the store was. At the time I was 1 of 2 customers in the store, and the 3 employees at the front of the store were acting as if it were an apocalypse in there leaving them in chaos. 3 weeks after I placed the order online I got an email saying the items were cancelled with no reason. Definitely do not shop at this store, you can find better deals and much better service literally anywhere else.

Love this place! Can find the bargain fabrics and remnants that I can use for odd projects, at a very good price. Can, also find the yarn that I like, at very reasonable prices. Usually have coupons to use, that, also, help out the end price. Store is clean and well organized. Lots of interesting seasonal items, also. Lots of seasonal flowers, also. Fun times!

Placed a pick up order from this location (normally go to greenfield) because it was slightly closer. It’s been 3 days and my order is still processing. Their site say we should expect delays but I’ve never had this bad of a delay from a surbside pick up. (Other craft stores I placed orders with the same time were ready within 1-2 hours). Will be canceling and ordering from another store.

This store was open today, and I am so happy that it was. The staff was helpful to me and I saw them staying safe, using facemasks and sanitizer while dealing with customers. I am grateful to the staff who were working, and I wish this store all the best during this critical time.

They have what I need

This is one of the best craft stores ever! So happy they have stayed in business this many years! They have every craft item you could ever think of and friendly staff to help you or answer any questions you may have. Such a wonderful place!

Placed an order on the 14th for pickup. Just got the message now that it is ready, but that I only have three days to pick it up (today, tomorrow, Monday). I cant pick it up today because theyre closed already. I have to choose between going tomorrow and compromising weekly virtual family time or having to leave the house on my birthday to go get what was ordered over a week ago. Sent two online inquiries, no replies on those when they were sent. Called three days after order was placed and five days after it was placed; both times was assured it would be ready soon. The second time, I offered to come and pull the items myself so they didnt have to, since they were open. Was told if I did that, they would have to cancel the order and ring up the items without the online discounts. This is not good customer service. If they are going to delay as long as they have, they should be allowing leniency for pick-ups. Will never order anything from them again and will attempt to avoid this company and especially this location. My only other experience with ordering was with the 76th street location, and they were great. This isnt my first time having problems with this store. A few years ago, I went in to look for something after work. When I asked for assistance, the clerk looked me up and down (I had come from work, so I was in business attire) and said I dont think wed have what youre looking for here before I had a chance to explain what I was looking for. (Spoiler: They did have what I needed - another customer who overheard the exchange showed me where the section was; I opted to go elsewhere to purchase the items.) Theres a Walmart just down the street; I managed to find everything I needed plus what Joanns was out of for cheaper than what the prices were from the Joanns order. I was willing to pay extra for the convenience, but I certainly dont want to pay extra in time and money for inconvenience.

They have so much stuff! Only place in town that had the gloves I was looking for. Joanns has a great app that provides stock/availability, price, in store location - so I was able to find exactly what I needed quickly and easily - store aisles clearly labeled. Also, great cell signal in the store, so I was able to pull up my electronic coupon quickly - which made the price even better than the already low price. Last but not least there were several employees that were all ready to help if I needed It, but werent smothering.

Great for jewelry making supplies. Sale prices on large selection of beads. Pre-made jewelry too. After Christmas items at clearance prices. However pretty picked over. Great place for crafters and sewing enthusiasts. Nice staff.

I like this Joann store. It is small, but they have plenty of stock. I rarely have to wait in line at the cutting table or at the cashier. I also think the staff are nicer. They always ask what your planning on making and will often offer advice, which is nice when you are new to sewing! Today my cashier even helped me with the coupons on my phone, which was great.

This Joanns is just the best! The staff is so helpful, insightful, and amazing at what they do. They ask about my ongoing projects and provide all of there knowledge so my projects turn successful. Although the store is smaller than the Greenfield location this location is organzied and has a large selection of what they do have.

Small store and the staff was not friendly or helpful. There was an employee that I passed no less than 3 times that did even say hello or can I help you find anything. She was standing in the same spot each time organizing a shelf.

Im not a sewer, so I needed help. Great staff. Found exactly what I was looking for and among other decorations for the holidays.

The employees at this store are rude and incompetent. The woman who cut my fabric appeared to be impaired by a substance. I had to tell her three times how much yardage I needed. When I finally got it all cut, I went to the register to check out. Not a soul in sight. I waited almost 10 minutes (the store was dead--not another customer in sight), then my husband shouted, Could we get some help here? After a minute or more, a girl started shuffling--slowly--to the register. Then the real trouble began. The fabric I purchased was marked 50% off, and I had a coupon for another 20% off. This brought the price down (or SHOULD HAVE) to $5.19. I had only requested 2/3 of a yard for each of 3 fabrics, so it should have come to $3.46 for each piece, for a total of $10.38. She came up with a total of $15.98--PER PIECE!!!! My total purchase with coupons was over $56.00!!!! I asked to see the cutting slip, but she refused to show me. I walked out without a single item. We then drove to another store in Greenfield where I purchased the EXACT same fabrics--plus another fabric AND some notions. My total was $23.19! This store is really screwed up!

Keep your women away if you want to have money in your checking account when you leave... Good store at decent prices. The staff are always friendly.

I love this Joannes store. I need to send my husband to this store and like most men you will not catch him in a craft store, but I need a new hip and back surgery so he has to go for the things I might need. The women help him and my daughter get what I want with ease and are friendly, helpful and courteous. I give this store a A+++ You know if your husband isnt have something to get at the store he is going, they come home a grouchy grizzly bear. At this Joanne store that is not the case. If you are going to this Joanne store it is not the big Supersize Joannes which is in Greenfield.This store is a smaller venue of the Superstore.

I always shop at Jo-Anns in Cudahy & have to say the store clerks are most helpful in any ways I have asked questions. They will go out of their way to help find an item I am looking for or ask a manager. They also are never rude as another customers commented. She most likely NEVER worked in retail as a STORE CLERK.

Went in meeting to start the sewing hobby not knowing the first thing. Staff was very helpful and made sure I didnt buy the wrong equipment, or miss anything Id need :-)

I dont think Ive ever had a bad experience here. If they dont have something I need at this location, they will have it at the big one out by Southridge.

My sister and I went in tonight, a Sunday night, at a few minutes to six. We were aware that the store was closing within a few minutes, but we knew exactly what we needed and where it was so we figured going in right before close wouldnt be a problem. Immediately upon walking in the lady at the register got all flustered and said were closing in a few minutes to which we informed her, we know, were just grabbing yarn. Itll take a minute and well be out. While we were there (for a total of 6 minutes) we were asked 4 separate times if we needed help finding anything, and one employee even asked us if we could hurry up.Bottom line, the customer service was rude. We were being hovered over, and it was clear the only reason we were being asked if we needed help was because the employees were trying to kick us out. We only needed 2 balls of yarn, and the three women wouldnt leave us alone. I absolutely have no desire to go back to this location if Im going to be treated as a nuisance, while Im a paying customer.Sorry my 6 minute visit delayed your closing time by 2 minutes and made your life so much harder.

It was easy to find what I was looking for and the cashier was very courteous.

The clerks here are usually OK, but yesterday, GEEZ! I went in to get some vinyl. The woman at the cutting counter kept me waiting for 5 minutes while she finished cutting up some fabric for their remnants bin. I guess thats more important than waiting on a customer. Then, the vinyl was cut so crookedly it is completely unusable for my purpose. Of course, this not being rocket science, I didnt save the receipt because I didnt believe it could be so screwed up! Again, as her getting her ancillary duties finished BEFORE customer service, she went to put the vinyl back where it belonged BEFORE giving me my receipt. Ill just walk out the next time I see her there.

Glad the store is still here in Cudahy. Not as busy as the location near S. 76 St.. Has many fabrics, jewelry components, many craft items, art items, fad craft items, sewing accesories. Staff is pretty helpful.

Part of the store is cramped and claustrophobic the rest is a well stocked, well laid out fabric store. Plenty of notions, fabrics, crafting supplies and nearly anything one would need for their next sewing project.
