She is the widow woman who will drive to church and the salon. So no need for something loaded. Adam didn’t try to over sell or push for anything unnecessary. Sales team is awesome. I typically tend to start THERE when I have a question about my vehicle. They point in the right direction and stay involved in the situation. Parts department has been ok. Generally helpful, although it can take a while for parts to come in. Service dept leaves a lot to be desired. I understand wait times, to an extent, because they are busy. My specific dealings with them have tended to be pretty unpleasant though. Being mislead, sent here and there, then back and forth pushing me off on other people to be dealt with, messes left in my vehicle, parts broken, and being made feel like Im somehow in the wrong for demanding that things be done satisfactorily. Im not very happy with the service team.

I was broke down on the highway and had my truck towed to Mitch Smith . One of the sales women, Tiffany Hulsey, made sure my wife and I were taken care of from bringing water to us to loading all my stuff and getting us to a Hotel . My experience with Mitch Smith Chevrolet was positive, super easy & very efficient. Samuel Tucker, salesman who helped us purchase our vehicle, met me at my office to pick up my vehicle for servicing & returned it to my office when it was finished. Gary was extremely patient with me. Making a decision on a vehicle is a big deal and he understood. He may have shown me every vehicle on the lot. All of the people there were very nice. Even the other salesmen that I wasnt using were nice and helpful. I know in this day and age women are supposed to be treated as equals but that is not what I found to be true everywhere. At Mitch Smith, Gary talked to me the same way he talked to my husband.

Bought a used vehicle at a great price...it was supposed to have ben through a dealer inspection if it was inspected they just walked around it...i had to replace several parts in the front end.i know it was used but i should have been tokd about it for the saftey aspect very disappointed in the service department.

We bought a Chevy Cruz back in November! The deal was horrific from the start. It was pulled back 3 times by different lenders. Finally we got it financed and when the paper work was signed we were told that the payment would run us 296 a month which was great news. However, after three months of searching for the company that financed the car (because the salesman never left any paperwork with my grandfather) we were told we needed an account number to get any info. However there was never an account created for us in the first place. After a few more weeks of calls and calls to various places we finally got the account number and then we were told that payment was not for 296 like it was stated on the paperwork that we signed it was actually for 422 and some change. Im not sure what went wrong but this is not the type of experience I was expecting from any dealership when purchasing a car!!!!! A bunch of wrong information and misleading on the dealers part from the two employees that we dealt with has lead to a lot of confusion and a great deal of trouble. We ended up finding out that the payments originally started in Jan instead of June like we were told and now I have to come up with 1700 dollars to keep the car from being reposessed before we could even find out who actually financed the car. We kept getting the run around each time we called the dealer and requesting copies of the paperwork. The finance company provided us with a copy of the paperwork half of the signatures on the paperwork werent even ours. We will be letting our attorney deal with this issue from here on out!!!!

I scheduled an appointment for 8:00am for an oil change. No tire rotation or any other service just an oil change. I dropped my car off a few minutes before 8:00 and they kept my car for 3.5 hours. Why make appointments if you dont use them? I will never come here again. It is absolutely terrible customer service to waste your customers time. So I wont waste mine next time I need an oil change or other service, Ill go elsewhere.

I was given an appointment to drop off my vehicle for hail damage, literally the day after we buried my father in law (March 27th)so with all that going on it was the first thing it came to me to have my vehicle repaired there since weve purchased 3 and I always take my vehicles there for service and had never had an issue BUT was I wrong! Started calling in April for an update and they said oh theyve started on it but it has a lot of damage. Called again towards end of April because my AC on my other vehicle went out and I have children so still oh they still working on it, it has a lot of damage. This was also the first time I asked for a loaner and they said they didnt have one which dont get me wrong I understand a lot of people had damage and Im blessed to have a car.Call beginning of May I was told they had done a lot of work on it but still had a lot to go but to check back the following week and they would be able to give me a more definite time frame, once again I asked for a loaner for that time and was told didnt have any. Called that following week still nothing was again told oh theyve done a lot of work to it but still lack a lot, it had a lot of damage by now Im pretty irritated, Im hot my kids are hot. If I didnt have kids I wouldnt worry and complain as much but by now Ive made 2 car payments on a vehicle that was supposed to be ready surely in one month I wasnt expecting quick but this is ridiculous! The whole month of May I called every week was told same thing over and over. Towards middle of May I had people tell me that my car was still out there and had not been touched so one day I decided to go by and there it was so I called again and was told same thing so I told them that I had people that saw my car out there. So I waited til the next week drove by and my car was not out there anymore this was 2 WEEKS ago.TODAY 06/15/2018 I picked up my car, they had told me yesterday but I didnt have a ride so got it today and I gave them the 7k check and they already had a supplemental check of 609$! Well let me share that my car STILL HAS HAIL DAMAGE!! PLUS they got the inside roof top cloth dirty with oil/grease? PLUS left some of their tools in it. PLUS now my engine light comes on, funny because there was NOTHING wrong with my car before taking it there. After all this time this is how we get treated and this is how we get our vehicle back. Im not the rich customer of theirs but I have spent THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS there.I had also spoken with the general manager which was nice but the very first time he told me hed call me back and didnt I was done with that as well. I understand that this was a catastrophic situation and there are some people out there that didnt have a car after this or their home not livable BUT this is just ridiculous. General manager told me that body shop just did a terrible job at overbooking, well really? You dont say......Almost 3 months later and once again they get thousands of dollars and my car still has hail damage!

We were the first ones there and got signed in and nobody helped us; after 5 hours of waiting we finally got sat down with someone and we told him what we were looking for and he got up and left us hanging and started helping other people and completely forgot about us. Made appointment last week but overbooked and not friendly at all! Asked if I could use a car to run a local errand and was told to get my proof of insurance with policy number and drivers license!! Get real!!! I am driving an 80000 dollars dually!!! Do you really believe I am uninsured!!! Forget it!!! Change my oil and let me go!!! You really need work on service end!!!!!!

We had some electrical issues repair here on a 2004 Buick and was not satisfied! We were overcharged and had to go elsewhere later to have the same parts replaced but was charged much less for same parts & labor. However we have all oil changes performed here.Update from on my earlier review of Mich Smith Chevrolet, the service manager called about my review posting. However I never received an satisfactory explanation other than he was not the manager and could do nothing. Why did he even call in the first place? ? ? Beware!

Samuel Tucker was our salesman, & he worked out an awesome deal over the phone & had all paperwork ready to go when I arrived... & It was exactly to the penny of what we agreed upon. Also, there was no pressure when I arrived to upsale or tac on any extras. They even stayed after closing on a Saturday evening waiting on me to get there! Once there, I signed the paperwork & drove off in my new Traverse. By far, best experience from any dealership I have ever worked with. This place is a total joke! Had a service guy ride with me and he said it was transmission shutter. Only does it once it heats up. And not even all the time then. And just when I take off. Great! Take it in and they give me a loaner. Well they call back the same day and tell me its the motor mount. Hello i might be a female but Im not stupid. A motor mount would door all the time. And the motor mount is broke due to the shuttering problem! But thats totally okay. I will take my business to a place that knows what the hell they are doing. Bc evidently all the mechanics there dont have a clue. I WILL NEVER BUT ANOTHER VEHICLE OR COME TO YALL WITH ANY OF MY CAR ISSUES!

Sale staff is really rude and unresponsive. Major part they will never tell you about GM Financial and will try to drag you into local banks with whom they have hook ups like BBVA Compass. My family bought a 2018 Traverse and they never offered us GM Financial, because of that we are paying extremely high interest rate every month. In short they are a rip off please be smart, go to GM Financial and get pr qualified before buying any GM vehicle. I dont even want to give 1 star, Mitch Smith deserves negative ratings.

Worst service dept Ive ever seen. Service Mgr is an inept idiot, rude and cussed at me while refusing to listen to anyone. He insisted on replacing my transmission even when his own people and respected professionals told me it didnt need it. He refused to correct the original repairs that they botched and was causing the problems. All that mattered to him was that the truck had 400K miles and that meant it needed a new transmission. Not once was I asked how old or how many miles were on the current transmission or even bother to check the History as Chevy had done the last replacement. I will tell everyone how badly I was treated.Your service department clearly overcharges for work that isnt required and refuses to stand behind their own work. Simply terrible.

This place is not even worth 1 star, I only give 1 star because I could not post this otherwise. They have had my daughters brand new vehicle for almost 2 months. They called her to come pick up her vehicle Saturday May 19th and still door handle was not replaced, rim had not been replaced, scuff marks had been dabbed with a paint brush rather than being replaced. Still in the shop and not fixed. This place has no idea about body workl. I would advise you to go to another service shop if you are looking to have body work performed on your vehicle.

This place is amazing!!! I was stranded in Cullman Alabama(it is a very rural area). They knew I was stranded and bent over backwards to help me. They offered me a loaner(no charge), a ride to local business, directions or any thing I could think of while I waited on the repair. I took my 2017 chevy spark to the repair department to show them where my vinyl around my window was already peeling off. They told me price and said they would order parts and would call me within a week. I never got a call in 2 weeks time, so I called back to see if parts was in, they had no record of my me coming up there nor had parts ever been ordered. Talked to another guy that gave a total different price and kept saying Ill call you back and never called me back. I called back 3 more times to get this ordered and I kept getting told, someone will call you back. Service is horrible at Mitch Smith. I live 15 min away, but will never buy a car from this bunch.

12/21/17 Not satisfied. Took way too long for vehicle repair. When we got the vehicle back it was dirty, greasy handprints on the inside/outside drivers door and drivers side window, the front chrome grill was scuffed from mechanics working/leaning up against it and there was an extremely strong smell of diesel inside the cab.12/22/17 update from yesterday. Began our roadtrip from Alabama to Michigan early morning. Mitch Smith informed us yesterday that our vehicle had been repaired and passed all tests. We informed the service department that we would be using our vehicle for this road trip and we needed the vehicle to be 100%. We are now in Kentucky and vehicle wont start, we are stranded!!! Same reason we took the vehicle in to be repaired!!!

Corey Calvert and the rest of the service team were very helpful and supportive during my visit. On my initial visit, the team was quick to pull my 2015 Malibu into the bay when I told them my service engine light was on, and after inspection, found a faulty cam solenoid, which was covered under the powertrain warranty. I had to return to the service center the next day due to my service engine light coming back on. When they inspected it once again, they found that my ECM was causing false readings to the engine, which was making the oil pressure to the engine continually fluctuate. Since it was a Friday and it would have taken more than 3 hours to fix the issue, Corey and the Mitch Smith team provided me with a great loaner vehicle for the weekend. My car was ready for me Monday afternoon, after the team did further testing on it to be sure the replacement ECM was the cure. I am happy to report that there are no further issues with my Malibu!I highly recommend the Mitch Smith Chevrolet team for service and car buying needs. They are just like family! I definitely recommend Randy Lamb in the sales department for help in finding your next vehicle, too!

*I posted a negative review on Friday night...I checked this morning to see if anyone replied and they had not. I re-checked this afternoon and the whole review was gone.*Ive never rated or reviewed anything before and made a google account just for this rating. My boyfriend came in last Monday to get someones name off his car loan and possibly refinance. He sat in Mitch Smith for over 4 hours only to find out nothing could be done that day. Hes called every single day because no one has let him know what is going on and when he does talk to someone, they have nothing to tell him. I called myself today and found out he had been approved,etc but no one bothered to call and let him know. Our experience has been negative and therefore we will not be doing business in the future once this is settled. If anyone from Mitch Smith would like to be helpful or make this right, we would appreciate it.

Recently, my wife and I decided we needed to buy a vehicle. There was only ONE place that we wanted to buy from. . .Mitch Smith Chevrolet in Cullman Alabama. Let me explain why. . . We purchased a vehicle from a Chevrolet Dealership in Birmingham years ago and was not really satisfied with the service. My wife works in Cullman and so I told her one day, just give those folks a call and lets see if they give good service. Man, we were impressed and we have taken our vehicle there for years. They not only give the BEST service but they also have the BEST prices of any dealership around! They always do exactly what they say that they are going to do. . . if they get swamped and are not able to finish my wifes car in the amount of time they say, they give her a car to take home and she has never been left hanging, wondering if they are going to get her car finished? They are incredible. I have ALWAYS been impressed with how they service a vehicle that wasnt even purchased from their lot. I was hopeful that the sales department would be as equal in how they took care of us when we purchased our new vehicle. I called the Sales Manager and told him what type of vehicle that I was looking for and within minutes Erik Harris called me back and told me exactly what he had and then delivered the car to my wifes office and said, take the car home, let your husband drive it and give me a call in the morning and let me know what you think? She did and it was a nice vehicle but a little too big and bulky for her so he delivered another vehicle within a bit and said, Here, take it drive it and let me know what you think! Im so not used to that in todays market. Most sales people stand over you like a bunch of vultures waiting on road kill. . . but not Erik! He was there to answer any questions, provide a service, and supply us with the vehicle that met our family needs. It was like we had a family member in the car business that was helping us get exactly what we needed and not push us. The price was very good and the way they took care of us was absolutely the best anywhere. Erik has called and checked on us afterward and asked how was the car doing. He has sent us a thank you card in the mail. He has bent over backwards to make sure that our experience was the best it possibly could be. The people at Mitch Smith Chevrolet in Cullman Alabama, care about their customers and know what it takes to make the car buying experience a pleasant one. I will continue to go back there for all of my car buying needs. NOW, if I can only talk my wife into letting me get a new truck. . . .I know where Im going, and I already know who Im going to see.Thanks Mitch Smith Service, Sales and the entire staff for a very good experience. I go in about week ago they said they would give me 34000 for my so I go in today they change it to 31000 they even had it on paper for 34000 that the last time I do or try to do business with mitch Smith Chevrolet

Just Bought a 2016 2SS from Jessie (cant remember last name). Everyone was helpful, and stayed late to get us set up. When I called with a questions about my car, (hey, who knew a 2SS Camaro does NOT come with a spare tire..but, guess what, they do not) Jessie was very helpful and offered all sorts of solutions. The service was Excellent. I own an Audi as well, and am used to a bit higher standard of service in my cars. Mitch Smith Chevy gives the same level of service you would expect from a Luxury car band, and not what you would expect from an average Chevy Dealer (Such as the Mega-Super Chevy Store in Huntsville.. we all know the one.. where you are herded around like cattle, and you receive constant double talk and flim flamerly.) I live in Harvest, and will drive back to Cullman to to get my service done. Thats how good these folks are. My experience with the Huntsville Chevy Dealer turned me off of Chevys for 3 years. On a whim I decided to look at this dealer, and give Chevy another shot. My experience with Mitch Smith Chevy ended with my purchase of a new 2SS.TL;DR-These guys are great, Find Jessie, and their prices are better than Local High Volume Chevy Dealers. 5/5 would buy again.
