This is a smaller Joanns than what other areas have but I can almost always find what Im looking for nonetheless!  Its a well kept store with floors, aisles, and the fabric section kept tidy.  I appreciate that they are well stocked in their fabric selection and even happier that they offer a nice art supply selection and a good selection of floral arranging products.This place really caters to my job with their products and they really cater to my hobbies and interests too! Not to mention Joanns has some of the best doorbusters sales and coupons when compared to other craft stores (I shop the ​doorbusters for the best deals!)The employees have always been very kind to me when Ive shopped there or asked questions.  They always are attentive and able to point me in the right direction of what Im shopping for.In the past, when they have been understaffed, it was just a matter of waiting for an available team member,  but even then they had good attitudes.I certainly recommend this location! I shop it all the time and love it and the crew working the store!The only recommendation (and its more of an I wish tbh) I have for the store is Id love to see even bigger of an artificial floral section! But either way! Ill be back again next week!

This is the second time that I went to this store and the store manager James was EXTREMELY RUDE. The first time he was rude to my mother, she let him know that she did not appericate his rudeness and that he lacks managerial skills and customer service skill. Just this past Saturday, 10-16/2021 @ 12:30 pm this unprofessional store manager James, rudely commanded an employee to stop what he was doing and go to the register. Now keep in mind, this young man was right in the middle of helping a customer by cutting her fabric and engaging in a conversation. James again disrespectly told him to stop and go to the register. I was waiting in line, there was another employee who was helping another customer. He told that customer to finish up with the young man customer and I was to continue to wait. Now, I do not minnd waiting but James as the store manager should have told the young man to finish up with the customer and then go to the front register, as a manager he should have waited on any customers at the front register or call the a couple of other employees who were walking around the store. I express what I saw and clearly stated that it was unprofessional for him to tell that young man to stop in the middle of helping a customer and check this out the customer the young man was helping agreed with me. Another employee came and cut my fabric out and decided that she would chime in and say he was supposed to be on the front register anyway I polietly told her that someone may need to take customer service 101 again. I call corporate and informed them of my experience.

Great selection of a variety of craft supplies. Excellent collection of fabrics in a range of prices. Often seems understaffed as the register is frequently unmanned. There is a call button, though. I wish there was an opportunity to offer classes or training or talk to employees that had more knowledge of the product. Still, nice to have this kind of hobby shop in Culpeper.

Small, friendly store that has very good selection of fabrics for quilting and home decor. Staff are always polite and helpful. Good bead selection; small scrapbooking selection.

Every time I go to Joanns I am ignored by employees if I try to ask a question. The answer they give, if they dont just brush by you, is I dont know. Most recently I had to speak so loudly to get the employees attention I was embarrassed and the employee turned her back to me as she said I dont know and rushed to a different aisle. Joanns is the closest fabric/craft store so I go often.

Im so glad that Culpeper finally got one of these. Its a convenient place to get sewing supplies. And they have good sales.

They have people walking around asking if they can be of assistance. Wonderful. They take you to the spot instead of directing. Would have given 5 stars but theyre a tiny bit pricey.

The employees feel like family when you enter the building..the prices are reasonable. And if you need help with anything...just ask any staff member. They will help you as best as they can.

I usually like going into Joanns but not today store was closing in 30 minutes you had 2 associates standing at the crafting tables while another associate was sitting at the table bad mouthing one person why they left to go to another store. They never acknowledged me and said hello at all while I was pursuing to walk through the isles. On my towards the front of the store they dispersed and the manager I think told we close in 20 minutes. I said okay thank you. Look at my daughter and said and thats how you lose sales. And left. I dont think Ill be going back for a while.....until I need some fabric

Joann Fabrics has a great selection for sewing and other arts and crafts. I went in searching for sewing needles and thread and walked out with more than that! Staff was friendly and helpful and store was neat, clean, and organized. I definitely recommend it!

Joanns in Culpeper is really a nice addition, however they really lack a lot of variety. I walked around the store looking for a simple and common item in crafting, a plastic canvas, and they do not carry them in the store. Before I figured that out, I had asked if they had any and the employee could not find any either. After explaining I needed it for a bottom support for a bag I was making, it was suggested that I use fabric screening, which absolutely will not work. Their assortment of patterns is also lackluster. I will need to make a trip to Fredericksburg to get my missing supplies, but if you live close by this Joanns, its worth checking out.

For a smaller store they somehow still have everything I need. The staff is always willing to bring out the ladder and see what they have on top of the shelves for a particular item.

Nice little fabric store. Very small compared to most other JoAnns. But it fills a void, as it is the only fabric store in the town. I stopped in while visiting my parents. Very friendly staff.

Poorly stocked and poorly staffed. Had one girl swamped cutting fabric. No one at the registers. Waited at least 10 minutes at the register with a line before someone finally came after 3 different customers requested help. I nearly left without making a purchase. The woman who finally checked us out was stressed and distracted answering phone calls. The store was clean, but I wasnt impressed by the selection of yarn or fabric. Winchesters JoAnn Fabrics has more. A yarn tote bag I was considering was out of reach on an upper shelf, not on display. I didnt bother already realizing the staffing situation. This store has so much more potential with better staffing.

The music is so loud that I cant think to choose patterns or factor yardage. I have also found the fabric selection to be poor especially during the holiday season. I agree with the other posts, poorly staffed and have to wait a long time at the register. The Winchester store is much better.
