All the food here is impeccable and run by very friendly and helpful staff! The beef is like butter even when cooked well. I like it med rare, but my pops, who grew up on a dairy farm in Minnesota, insists on destroying and overcooking his beef, but it still was tender and amazing to taste!The whole chickens are bled well, and have a great taste. They are only about 6 pounds, proof that no steroids are used and even the white meat has a great taste. Homemade sausages are to die for, and all their pork is the best I have ever tasted.Bottom line, this place is well worth the hour+ it takes for me to get there. I just load a cooler with cold packs and stock up for a month when down there. Oh and stop by Moo Thru right up the road, homemade ice cream you cant find anywhere up in Northern VA. Convenient on your way back and WAY better than any ice cream you find in the store!

Were so sad that Andrew closed the Croftburn Market! The meat was amazing and he was a pleasure to do business with.
