This place has such a cute simplistic atmosphere. The food is amazing and so fresh. Will definitely be back.

OMG this place is awesome!!! 😄 they have amazingly awesome and spectacular baked good, plus meat, dairy items, sauerkraut, eggs and other stuff I’m forgetting to list here. 😅 during my first visit, I bought eggs, homemade sauerkraut, orange cranberry loaves of bread, apple muffins, pumpkin bread and an egg salad sandwich. Some I haven’t tried yet but the egg salad sandwich was fluffy and delicious.And the apple muffins are *amazing*!!! words don’t exist to describe their excellence. ☺️ I bought a box of six and I’m somewhat embarrassed to say I ate so far 5 of 6 (well, over a number of days…but still 😌) (one of those days I did eat 2…).I went back for an online order of bread, most of which I will freeze to enjoy as time goes by.I love this place, I love supporting local businesses and farmers, I love their baked goods and homemade sauerkraut (really good for you!) and I love that the introduction of this place into my life means I’ll have to be more disciplined about exercise and rowing machine so I can keep enjoying these goods. 🥳😅Try them out! You won’t be disappointed 😄

My girlfriend and I stopped by after lunch for the first time and we were immediately greeted by a very kind gentleman behind the counter. I asked for some information regarding the meat selection and was happily assisted. He even offered cooking advice which I always appreciate. While we were there, we ordered a iced mocha and it was delicious for someone who prefers a stronger coffee flavor.I ended up thawing out the New York Strips in the refrigerator and I was very surprised how fresh they looked. With the gentlemans guidance, I cooked the best steak Ive ever had including high end steak restaurants.I STRONGLY recommend this place and will absolutely be returning!

I frequent this superb restaurant from time to time since I enjoy the good air that is characterizes this place. The team is extremely cordial and experienced. The service is exceptionally efficient. Also, the food you eat is excellent. I have been there more than once and I was always happy. The cost is reasobable. I highly recommend this restaurant to to everybody.

One of the best local joints for farm fresh products, including some hard to find items. Of course, one claim to fame is their onsite-milled floors from local and organic grains. My wife is sensitive to gluten, and she is finding out that minimally milled flour may not make her react, as more commercially processed flours do.

Unbelievably satisfied with the catered spread at State Climb. I never actually spoke to them directly as State Climb set everything up but man was the food good! The portions were huge and everything was SO fresh. Will definitely come check them out in person!

I have been living in this region for 20 years - originally from New York - and I have long missed a perfect egg sandwich for breakfast. This morning, I finally found it. It starts with excellent bread (they make it in house, of course), then all the right combinations of meat (locally sourced), eggs, and cheese. Great coffee, cozy spot, *superb* sandwiches... I will be back. Often. Thank you!

An absolutely fantastic find. Wally, the owner, has imported a small grain mill from Austria and uses it to mill locally grown grains as needed, including rye and spelt. His cafe is open for breakfast and lunch and is great. Home made chili, cornbread, and sandwiches and burgers. Super

Over the top quality from scratch bread and sweets. The Sticky bun is a great gift for anyone in the local nursing home. Day old homemade bread shelf is where its at.

Incredible place to pick up baked goods, bread, sandwiches, or local meat products from the farm. The staff couldn’t be nicer. They even milled some fresh spelt flour for us.

The sausage, egg and cheese on brioche bread for breakfast was soo good. The unsweetened tea was perfect and the cinnamon rolls... Ohhh...the cinnamon rolls. You can tell with every bite that the food was truly, locally grown and made. It has been the best breakfast sandwich that we have had in Culpeper. And definitely the best cinnamon roll. Grandma would approve.The restaurant was also extremely clean, and tidy. The staff was very friendly. And we cant wait to come back and watch them grind to order some baking flour... we dont know which type yet... their menu says they have quite a few grains to pick from.

Good grief... the cinnamon buns made by Moving Meadows farm are outstanding! We heard about them from other vendors on Davis Street as we shopped around asking about specialties, and their recommendations were right on point!Picked up a small loaf of whole wheat bread to, and it was both fresh and delicious.Very good baked products. Nice lady and (I assume) her daughters working in the shop when we stopped by. Super nice folks. Reasonable prices.

Had some cake from here, it was amazing, they had a great selection of meat, and they had fresh baked bread along with some things you could buy for lunch, its a great shop

The staff are very friendly and genuinely care about your business and satisfaction. Not to mention the smell of all the fresh bread and items they make. The selection of bakery items, meats from their farm, and lunch options make this spot a win. It is a bit on the pricey side but its worth supporting this local business, farm, and family; doesnt hurt that everything taste great!

We go there for chicken livers because they are the best we have found in the Central Piedmont.

I just moved to the area and had been searching for a delicious breakfast place and discovered this absolutely delightful family owned and run bakery and farm store! I cant tell you how much I love it here!Their cinnamon rolls are the best I have ever tasted!! You can really tell what it means to use fresh ingredients! The eggs and toast are so fresh and the atmosphere is cozy. Perfect place to have a relaxing breakfast or pick up some fresh meats, eggs, baked goods, etc! Try it! You wont be disappointed!

The best spot for local farm to table food. They have the best sweet treats, granola, muffins, breads you name it they’ve got it. The best part is they mill grain each morning for the days baking needs so everything is always super fresh!

I came here for the cinnamon bun and it did not disappoint. Awesome bakery and they have all sorts of bread and baked goods. They also sell organic poultry and meat. The bakery is cozy and they play classical music. Very enjoyable place.

The atmosphere was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The smell was overwhelmingly wonderful. Its what drew me in.The bread, cinnamon roll and cookie were just ok for me. Nothing that stood out. I would recommend this place to others because its charming, smells great and the staff is great. A nice place to pass some time.

This place is great you cant get any fresher and everything is entirely made from scratch including that they make their own flour. They own the farm that everything is raised on that they sell so they could tell you exactly what is in everything and what they fed the animals.
