Dog Watch is a great alternative to Invisible Fence. Dog Watch costs less and their equipment is equally as good so why wouldn’t you go with Dog Watch over Invisible Fence! Biggest difference, and this is crucial, is Dog Watch’s battery inside the dog collar LASTS MUCH LONGER than Invisible Fence, and when it’s time to replace it, you can buy a replacement anywhere! (At Invisiblefence, you have to buy batteries every month from them and they jack up the price!)Invisible Fence PROS: longer lasting battery, better price on in-ground equipment and batteries, reliable equipment, easy installation. CONS: your dog can not go right up to the fence line, he has to stay a few feet back from it. Thus, if you have a very small yard, it just got even smaller for your pet.

Lawrence the owner did my install several years ago.He was a complete professional, a pleasure to work with. I called around and DogWatch makes the best system. The batteries in the dogs collar last up to 2 years not like Invisible fence that was double the cost for install and need to change batteries every 2 to 3 months. I reached out to Lawrence to do the install for my parents new Border Collie. Once again, timely professional first rate install, no cutting corners. I am general contractor by trade and know enough to see if people are trying to scrimp on the install so they can get out of there as fast as possible. Lawrence and his nephew Johnathon take all the time needed to do a first rate job. If you pay to have a professional install done, the entire job is guaranteed for life even acts of God like lightning strikes that no surge suppressor will stop. You cant go wrong with these guys!
