The 2 older gentleman that work there are the rudest most inconsiderate people. I tried to do a return and they told me that they didn’t return chemicals. A completely unopened box, still sealed. Interestingly enough it’s no listed on the receipt, or on the company website, no where. The receipt says that they will allow any returns within 30 days with a receipt. The guy told me there’s a sign by the register that he doesn’t need it on his receipts. Oh really, where I don’t see one. Never again! I was actually going to return the item to buy something and discuss hot tubs. Taking my business elsewhere.

Ive been in here several times to buy different things for my pool. The younger gal is always helpful. The older guy is one of the rudest, belittling sales reps Ive ever met. I took a piece of my sand pump in to look for a union gasket. He took one look at the hose and condescendingly said thats an Intex.. We dont have that.. I told him its not, its a raypak and I saw some gaskets online that might work you have in stock. Against his will, he went and grabbed one. I saw it had a small lip and wouldnt work. He didnt try to help at all, it was like see, I told you so... So I left. Never in my life have I felt so unappreciated as a customer. There werent even any other customers in the store.Ill happily travel an extra 20 miles to go to a store where they can treat me like a human being.

Do not purchase your pool from them if you can help it. Purchased an above ground pool almost a month ago. Bought in April so we would be able to use it when the weather got warm enough. Were told that it would take about a week for delivery and after delivery another 7-10 days for installation. Pool was delivered promptly. Unfortunately it still sits filling my garage and making it difficult to get around. When questioned about installation we were told it would definitely be before Memorial Day. Today we were told that we will get a call after Memorial Day for maybe that week. They oversell their products knowing they do not have the personnel to install them. They have taken my full payment and provided two pallets of boxes. Nothing more. Promises made and promises broken repeatedly.

Went in the man we dealt with was super nice super professional... game back a day later to ask questions... original guy had day off, guy that was there refused to answer questions said he would have no one to talk to us until 3 and told us to come back another day... there were only 3 customers in the store... I was wanting a pool and hot tub looks like I will spend money elsewhere

The employees were nice to deal with but I am very disappointed in how Litehouse management has handled mass selling pools for the past few months and then not being able to deliver or install the pools they sold. At some point, the management had to figure out that they wouldnt be able to deliver on their promises. Yet, they continued selling pools that they havent been able to provide with no idea if they will be able to. Someone should be calling customers or trying to do something to make it right but they arent. Its really sad to take advantage of people any time...but during a pandemic...even more sad.

I got double charged for a purchase, but that is not my issue at all. Called store, talked to Jeff. He said they were busy, cut me off mid sentence more than once. Said hed call corporate and get back to me... he didnt. I called corporate myself, they told me the store would issue my refund. My wife went to the store and spoke to Jeff. She said he seemed annoyed that I called corporate myself, then snatched the receipt from her hand and walked to the back to issue the refund, I guess...I do not recommend doing business here.

Horrible experience from start to finish. Delivered pool in parts & pieces, days/weeks apart with no explaination. Never told heater was back ordered for months.Emails, calls never returned. Installed pool ourselves due to delays, informed store 4+ times to cancel installation, they never contacted installation company.

I bought my spa 11 years ago from here. Very nice unit. These guys always have the items I need in stock. But what i want to talk about here is SERVICE. When you get an 800 numbed to call for service, its an automatic panic button for me. NOT with these guys!!! The tech that came out was awesome. Weve had service a few times over the years and they send the same guy out who knows our spa and always does a great job fixing it. Brings the parts he expected to need based on my description of the problem. Also spends time to make sure we know the chemicals to use and operation. Oh, and they didnt rip me off!!! Thank you for taking care of me and my spa!!

Crooked business... we put money on a hot tub, the following Saturday I called and upgraded and the salesman said it would be $200 more. the following Wednesday I went in to pay the balance and it was $1,000 more because it was special order.

Honestly, our sales person was great to us when we first bought our pool. We also told him that we were still in the market for a hot tub. The pool itself is nice we bought the Frog Leap filter system to go with it, it doesnt do what its remotely supposed to do. Opening this year it was a complete mess, spent all summer trying to get debris cleaned out.When the our sales man found out that we ended up going with someone else for the hot tub EVERYTHING changed he started to give us half information the answers we got from him was more chlorine and keep sweeping it out. after a month another customer who heard us talking about it asked the sales guy if she can tell us her story (like it was a secret) and all we needed was a $20 to drop and sweep it out, not once was this ever mentioned by the sales associate. Now when we walk into the store he pretends to be busy and completely ignores us. He acts like a man-child because we didnt purchase the hot tub from him. We took the frog leap off our pool and everything is working better than it was. no level of professionalism what so ever from this company.PLEASE Look into other pool places, most of the mom and pop shops around here will give you WAY better service and get you what you need to get the pool up and running properly without the run around. If you have to go into this location at least stay clear of the sales associate and always get a second opinion on your pool because they can not be trusted.

We had our pool built by Litehouse in 2013 and have been very pleased with the service by the main company. We have our water tested and purchase supplies at the store in Cuyahoga Falls. The senior sales people are going to make their commission on the furniture, pools, and equipment sales so I do not begrudge them their income. The other staff are there to help with pool maintenance. They dont know that I purchased the pool through Litehouse and they are very helpful and professional. In 2014 our pool was flooded by the horrendous rains floods. It was full of debris and you could not see past the first step for the mud. The main office helped with initial clean-up and made sure that the pump was working. After that the Cuyahoga Falls store staff took interest in helping me with the final stages of clean up and chemicals to restore the pool. I highly recommend both the main office personnel and maintenance team with the cleaning and maintenance of our pool. I also highly recommend the Cuyahoga Falls store staff for assistance with maintaining a clean and functional pool. The store staff also offer yearly classes in pool closing and opening.

Make sure to not go to this location if theyre close to closing because all of the employees are super rude and not helpful at all. Wont be going back period. I will take my business elsewhere.The employees name was Jeff, he stood there and watched us look for a part we needed and didnt help us at ALL. He stood there and watched us try to find it. After purchasing what we thought was the correct part as we were walking out we saw the part we needed on the wall and ended up having to return what we had just bought and buy that part because he was mad that the store was about to close and we were trying to give them business. Sorry NOT sorry. Very dissatisfied.

Worst customer service experience. I ordered a liner for my pool and was told it would be 7-10 days before it would arrive. By day 11 we called to question if it was in. Well did we call you? was the response we received. We explained it should be in by now so after a little waiting they said it would be on a truck coming later that afternoon. We decided to be sure the truck was delivered unloaded we would wait till the next day. When we arrived they said it didnt fit on the truck and it would be another 6 days before they would get it! They said we could drive an hour to a neighboring location to pick one up, not them.. us! (We actually found out that location didnt have our liner anyway but they would have been happy to send us there!). I explained we were having a pool party the following weekend. The manager now offered to get it to me by Monday. I asked if he would fix the situation by having his team come to install for me during the week so I wouldnt have to take a day off work. Of course there were additional fees posed to me - there was nothing he was willing to do for me to fix the situation. He finally did admit after all these excuses the liner was never actually ordered. I asked for a refund. I will never shop this store and will not recommend to anyone!

I had my pool opened and the heater, plumbing all replaced. As soon as I went back and looked at it the one jet was sputtering, the other jet was making bubbles and the skimmers were filled with leaves with two chlorine pucks just tossed on top. I called to complain basically didn’t seem to care. I would never use this company ever again.

Never again. Purchased a large float 6/9 and discovered a defect in a seam when it was inflated. Took it back to the store 6/16 and was told (by the manager) that they needed to inflate it and look at it before they determined if I could exchange it. I never received a call so I stopped in today 6/19 to see what was determined. The manager was busy with another customer but the sale women was able to ask him about my float. He responded, Yeah, I didnt have time for that. They offered to keep it (again) and call me in an hour. No thank you! There are plenty of other pool store in the area and you have just lost by business.

I love Litehouse! The people who work here are amazing! I have been shopping here for years and they are always there to help! I had trouble with my water at the beginning of this year and I finally swallowed my pride and walked in wanting some heko. A blonde haired young man and an older fellow both worked with me to get my water perfect, which they did! Within a matter of days, I had crystal clear water! Ive also needed help finding parts for my pump. The $2.00 and $5.00 parts were hard to find, but after some searching they were able to get them to me within a matter of days. They seriously care about their customers and their well being! I will always and forever shop at this store till my pool becomes the death of me.

A quick update to my original review. I am going to give LiteHouse 3 stars at this point. Shortly after posting my review the area manager reached out to my wife and apologized. They ended up having the service tech come out and work with us sooner rather than later. Here is what I will tell you about their service tech. TOP NOTCH! Great guy to talk with and very knowledgeable. Takes the time to talk and teach you things. Definitely a plus to dealing with LiteHouse. The Cuyahoga Falls Store still needs some work. Unfortunately they seem to provide a less than ideal customer experience. Its their attitude to be honest. They seem to not care. I hope to see things change at the store level at which time maybe they will earn a 4th or 5th star.Right now I am giving LightHouse 1 star. We decided to use Lighthouse based on owning a pool from them when I was a kid. Well apparently things have changed. We they delivered our SPA the guys were nice enough and provided a brief overview of the SPA. We purchased the service package with the SPA and were told once installed they would call us to set up a time to come out. Well after a week and NOT receiving a call we decided to call them. The answer they gave us was just fill it up use the Frog system and enjoy. At the same time we set a time for them to come out. Well they called and canceled the DAY OF the appointment only to make it for another two weeks out. Reminder this is our first hot tub. We have had some issues with the water and testing and were told to simply bring in a sample. When my wife visited the store and explained her concern and disappointment about the PAID for service package she was told Yeah, its hard to get people to work these days.... REALLY? Horrible service at this point. Glad we didnt pull the trigger on the outdoor kitchen we intended to buy...Still no service support and its apparently up to us to learn as we go...Should have went to The Great Escape after all.....

The store manager is very rude, and of no assistance to customers or employees for that matter. Ive spent several hundred dollars here this summer alone on parts (3 of which I received were the WRONG part) and chemicals, without any real results. They will take your money without offering any real help. I wont be shopping here again.

I am very dissatisfied with Litehouse pools. The whole side of our pool blew out and Litehouse will not stand buy their warranty!! I was in the pool at the time and could of been seriously hurt and Litehouse wont do anything about it!!! Litehouse your so called owner, dont bother responding to this post because youre liars. I wont recommend you to anyone!!!
