The atmosphere made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in the door. Everybody that works there are very nice and professional.
I love this store! It has unique items. I always manage to find something I like.
Love this place! the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful, I want experience the nail salon Great place.
I just want to say, what a fantastic experience I had today. So personable, engaging, and kind. We talked as if we were old friends. I will be going back even without the Groupon. Thank you.
Absolutely love this places!! They are super nice and friendly! We had a 3 year old with us while we were getting our nails done and were super awesome with her!! And my nails still look fantastic after a week and constantly being in water! Definitely found a new place to get my nails done!
Loved it!They welcome you at the door, Melissa, the girl who helped me was very professional, nice and helpful. I told her what I want and she started looking for designs that I would like. The result is beautiful! It was not expensive at all very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it, and ask for Melissa
My experience was quite pleasant. I went with my mom and got a basic manicure, our nails look great. The ladies were very nice and great to talk to. I recommend going here!
Did a great job on my pedicure! Cute well put together place. Nice cute shop to purchase adorable and unique items and then downstairs a finished basement type look that is a comfortable salon service. My polish lasted over 2 weeks & looked great. Will definitely return.
Marie has done a beautiful job on my nails twice, and I definitely plan to go back! She makes sure that they are exactly how I want. Gilmores also has a store to shop through and an ATM
As someone who is 9 months pregnant, a pedicure is literally the greatest thing in the world to me. Shontelle (Im pretty sure that was her name, I forget names so easily and pregnancy brain is very very real), was the best. She took her time with me for sure, and was so friendly. I will definitely be back soon! :)
I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks for over 18 years now. This place has by far given me the WORST gel manicure of my life. Seriously looks like trash. Zero work on my cuticles, no lotion, no massage. Just a file and polish application. And a VERY sloppy job at that. Please please please stay away from this place. Go ANYWHERE else! I can’t believe they charged me $42 for this. It’s an embarrassment. What a joke.
Great shop! So much more than a nail salon. Friendly staff, great selection of clothes and accessories.
Pleasant staff, clean & inviting. Wish more staff was on hand so my coworker & I could have had our mani/pedis done simultaneously, instead one member rotated between us so it took over an hour, but perhaps it was an off season time. Id still highly recommend.
Best mani-pedi experience I ever had. A lot of time spent massaging and moisturizing my feet.Great attention to my cuticles.Marie Berry was my manicurist. Friendly, smart and a total pro.I will be back for sure.I am also going to go back and fully check out their boutique. Thanks so much I really felt pampered
I like going there however the tech cancelled on me due to other obligations. So I went with someone else in the salon and she messed up my nails with cheap products. And come to find out the original tech was there working. I felt played so I did not go back. Professionalism and customer service need some attention!!!
Hey give DRY pedicures. They dint soak your feet first they only use water to rinse them. No message on either feet nor hands.
Just used my groupon tp get a spa pedicure and manicure. First it was definitely not a spa pedicure. More like a regular pedicure plus she cut my toenails so close it hurt and I was surprised my toes didnt bleed. The manicure was just a quick nail shaping and polish, no cuticle treatment.
Nice manicurist but my nails look terrible and she made me bleed when pushing my cuticles back. I could do a way better job painting my nails. Barely any massaging or lotioning.
My two daughters (19 and 15) went here and received gel manicures. I should just say gel polish as there was no manicure. We paid $35 a piece. Four days later all of us were having issues. A whole polished nail falling off, a nail chipping, the polish split. I Facebook messaged them with pictures...no response. They were nice but I will NEVER go back. What a waste of money!!
Lovely place to find unique items! Great deals on Mani/pedi services. Pleasant and friendly staff.
Beautiful Salon and Gallery. The whole staff are awesome. Come check us out!
Friendly and Fun, great bargains.
Love to shop for the pocket book.
Best experience getting my nails and toes done
The owner and the lady that did my acrylics were very nice. Which is why I gave two stars. I walked in no appointment the lady was very helpful to squeeze me in. However my nails look hideous and Im not even joking. The acrylic was laid bumpy the sides are either too much or not enough acrylic depending which nail you look at. The paint job also horrendous. So update I called and talked to the owner went back. They soaked the nails off and a different lady Marie Berry did my nails. They are beautiful!!!😍😍😍if you go I suggest her 100 I give her five stars
While they have a good deal for a mani/pedi ($45), my experience was nothing more than getting my nails polished. There was nothing luxurious about the time spent/location. My cuticles were not addressed, nails were barely shaped and even the polish job was sub-par and chipped the next day. The price may be too good to be true....
Loved my mani pedi there with technician, Marie!!!
The people there were so great and my nails looked fantastic day of! I went to work the next day and 3 acrylics popped off just from typing on my computer. Wont be back.
DO NOT WORK HERE. I worked here a while ago, and I had to leave after a few months. The owner is condescending towards her employees and plays favoritism. She cracks down on certain employees about the rules, while others do what they please. She took money out of my check for accidentally breaking a ONE nail polish, and for pedicures that I did because I didn’t ring up the Groupon right? I did the pedicures and I expected to be paid. I signed up to be a nail technician, not a receptionist! The spa is in a dark basement with no natural lighting, and no space. There is nothing spa like about it. They don’t have built in foot tubs. Instead they use tiny portable foot tubs with plastic liners that you can buy at Sallys. Since the tubs are not built in, they have to dump out the foot juices in the sink where they also sanitize their tools...They are unsanitary because they share foot shrubs and lotions between nail technicians. They don’t use gloves or sticks, but instead double dip into it with their fingers after already touching peoples feet! *Shudders* They re-use foam sandals instead of throwing them away when a client is done with them. Super cheap. Its foam sandals, just by new ones!!When you get a manicure, they don’t use water. This is difficult for the nail technician because cutting dry cuticles is difficult and often creates tears in the skin. It can also be painful for people that are sensitive. Manicures are best when you soften the skin and the cuticles. The lotions soak into the hands better when they are moist. They rush through all their services because the owner is always overbooking (only has service because she uses Groupon). I felt bad because I like to give every client the attention they deserve. Sometimes we would do two pedicures at at one time to keep up with the appointments. The ONLY reason this places gets one star is because the nail technicians are lovely and the purses are kinda cute. Unfortunately everything in the store is overpriced. Please spend your money somewhere else.
Do not buy this groupon!! This was by far the worst mani pedi i have ever had. My feet were not soaked before she started cutting my cuticles so she tour off one that immediately started bleeding and now im very nervous after reading other reviews about lack of sanitation and reusing of tools. Read the reviews!!
Very friendly and did a great job with my nails :)
I got a mani and pedi threw Groupon. I called and they scheduled me the next day which was great. I arrived 10 minutes early and they started right when I walked in. The reason I give it a 2/5 stars is because, while I was getting my pedicure they used a plastic container to soak my feet. The lady was very nice and kept a conversation but she used no gloves and “double dipped” in the foot scrub she was using. My nails look okay and payed attention to my crazy cuticles. When it got to the manicure part though the polish was uneven and done quite sloppy. But over all I’m not hard to please because I didn’t have to do it myself but I expected a bit more.
I’m a nail tech of 16 years. Studied under some of the most famous Nail Artists out there. Now, my work wasn’t as good as the national competitors —- but I was meticulous in my work.#1. I would be embarrassed about the pics on your google search. That chevron French manicure is hideous!!!!!!I would have put a light base down (nude,pink,etc...) and then put the white over it. It’s not difficult to to that chevron. And whomever the tech was—- shame on your boss for not teaching you how to do a better job!!!!!That’s your means of living. No matter where I worked I had a full book because I did excellent work. I was famous for my pedicures. In which this is the reason I am writing this review. My daughter (who obviously knows a thing or two about nails growing up with a NT )—- went and got a gel manicure and a Free “Spa Pedi” was included. She laughed. She said mom— I don’t know what kind of spa pedicure they’re talking about because it want anything like yours. My normal tip on a gel manicure was $10 and normally $10-15 for my Pedis. And I didn’t need to try to upgrade to the Spa. That’s only hype anyhow. A mask doesn’t do that much.Clients want a a Good Massage!!!!!!! That’s what they’re after. And if they have bad heels well by all means put some callous remover on there..... let it soak and file that junk off!!!! Smooth as a baby’s bottom.I did reflexology type massage that lasted probably no less than 15 mins for both feet. I could do the hour pedi with a good exfoliation, cuticles, callous removal and awesome massage.I made gooood money. So I’m sorry to ramble on. But I’m telling you—- give those girls/women some training or your never gonna make it.My daughter said her NT was an older woman that didn’t even massage her feet for 5 mins. Pathetic. She’s on her feet all day and was looking forward to that. That’s how you build a full book. You CARE. And do good work. The beauty industry is done from the heart. It’s not like other jobs. You have to have passion for it.Clean up the Polish around the cuticles and take some pride in your work ladies. My daughters polish job wasn’t even good.Let me know if you want some training. I’m available. Seriously. And sincerely. I used to teach new techs.Just my 2 cents. :)))))
Service was amazing and the lady who did my nails was very polite and social. My cuticles were addressed and much attention was given to my hands and feet.
I was given a mani/pedi as a gift to Gilmores Nail salon (Cuyahoga Falls). The mani/pedi was purchased through Groupon and I tried to use it 4 different times. Each time I was told that since it was a Groupon they had to schedule an appointment. The soonest appointment offered was typically 3 to 4 weeks out. I would ask is there anything sooner and they would say, if I want to pay their normal everyday price, I could have a mani/pedi done that day. After the 4th attempt trying to use the Groupon, I had my gift giver contact Groupon and request a refund. If your going to use Groupon to market your business, honor your offer expeditiously and provide a great experience to your (potential) new customer!! If you dislike a new customer who buys your Groupon offer, quit offering your services through Groupon!! I feel as this is a bait and switch tactic which truly wasted my time Gilmores!! Hopefully this true and accurate story will save others from having their time wasted.
My mom and I came here for a mani and pedi...The ladies were absolutely sooo nice which is why I give this a two star rating vs one star. They had great personalities. For starters they didnt even soak our feet and let the skin get soft before they briefly scrubbed be bottoms of our feet. They just stuck their hands in the jars of lotions etc... double dipping I will call it. What if I had some kinda of fungus? They didnt know now the entire container which they use on every one else is contaminated. Our pedicures were done in 15 min. No massage... no jets on the tubs... the lady who did mine even used Walmart brand lotion... which if Im paying for a pricey pedi I expect more than $5 lotion. My feet are actually more dry now than when I went... I actually came home and cleaned my feet with soap cus I was worried I would catch something. This is the first bad review I have ever left for a company. the mani consisted of filing and painting nails... there was not even any water or lotion involved!! I also saw them use the same tools on everyone and never sanitize them... What a waste of time... and Im hoping I dont catch something. Ladies who work there you guys are so nice... if this is how your company wants you to preform services you should go work else where. I will never go back. Also I witnessed all three ladies do the mani and pedi exactly the same. Its obviously how they are instructed to do them
The girl who did my nails was very sweet and nice. However, it was not at all what I expected. Not your typical nail salon. My boyfriend had gotten me a spa mani-pedi groupon for Christmas, and I definitely felt like they looked down upon people using the Groupon when I made the appointment. Also, it was anything but spa. The actual salon is downstairs in a basement of a house. The pedicure stations didnt have jetted tubs or massage chairs, which may seem a bit picky, but have been in every other nail salon Ive ever been to. My spa manicure was just a filing and a paint. No hand soak, lotion, hand rub... anything that comes with a typical manicure at other places. Also, they do not let you know ahead of time, but tipping is cash only. They also do not have many colors to choose from, especially for shellac/gel. Overall, not worth the price ($39 groupon + $20 for adding a shellac service) and definitely not what I expected. I dont see myself returning.
Love the atmosphere and personal attention
Great place to shop.
I will not be back. I tried the salon 2 times and each time the experience was not good. My polish chipped the next day both times. My nails were not shaped good - very rough edges.
Nice people and quality service
Dark dingy basement. They shared the foot scrub between people without gloves. Just kept putting their hands back in to get more.My polish peeled off within four days.
Will DEFINITELY be back!
Best clothing store in the area!!!!
