Abraham and Roy are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They and their colleagues at Advanced Starter have generously performed on three separate occasions in regards to alternator diagnosis & repair and starter motor diagnosis & repair for Bosch and Paris-Rhome electrical system components in a 1979 Porsche 928.They removed the uncertainty from identifying electrical faults and correcting the electrical faults which made the reviving of the Porsche 928 more encouraging.I highly recommend Abraham, Roy, and the rest of the team at Advance Starter Service for alternator and starter motor diagnosis and repair. They are thorough and diligent as well as polite and good natured.Go to their shop thirsty, because there is complimentary cold bottled water and soda pop in the beverage cooler.

Was researching for a local starter and alternator shop and this establishment came up as a top search, called and from the get go had good feedback and very good communication.. Abraham was very helpful and professional, had called the dealer prior to that and didn’t not have the best of experiences and would take 2-3 business days to get the starter I was in need for. I first used them to rebuild the starter for my 1955 Studebaker. I mentioned that I was converting from 6V to 12 V. In about a week it was ready. So clean it looked like brand new. And they had added a part so that it would work better as 12V. And the price was under what I expected to pay. I did have a small problem pop up ( it is 65 years old after all). I took it back and they made a minor adjustment while I waited.Now, I just got home after picking up my 1939 Cadillac heater. I got it on EBay and couldnt get it to work. So I dropped it off. When I picked it up, they told me that they opened it up and it was like new, with a little dust. They cleaned and oiled it, and it was ready to go. One loose wire inside had kept it from working. And they didnt charge me a thing because they really didnt have to do anything to it. No charge! Any other company would have done the same, closed it back up, told me it was like new, and charged me out the wazoo because its from an antique Cadillac. Honest as they come, these guys.Ill use them again (I have the starter and generator for that 39 Cadillac still to do) and recommend them to any and all. BONUS: The staff is both professional and nice. They even carried the heater to my car because I had a complimentary coke in one hand and a free cookie in the other. You just cant beat service like this.

Brought a 70 year old Willys Jeep starter in to be rebuilt. They not only rebuilt the interior mechanical parts, but also cleaned up the outside, painted it, and replaced a missing dust cover. Brought it home and it works like brand new. All for 1/3 of the cost of a new re-manufactured starter. I will be bringing all my starters and alternators here from now on.

I bought starter from this place and it didn’t last 2 months. And I was behind work and I went to the place and they said oh doesn’t go bad by it self and there was something wrong with my truck and so I end up going to dealer and there is nothing wrong with my truck and it just their Chinese cheap stuff goes bad and so it cost me too much to save 100 bucks. It is worthless and they didn’t hold up their warranty.

Great people here at advanced starter. They were able to get me a new starter with just picture I show them. They are very knowledgeable and always check your old starter or alternator just to make sure they are selling you something that you really need. I been working with this guys for over 4 years and nothing have change, they are always the best of the best on their department.

Quick service. I called about a starter, said they would have it next day. They called me back about 40 minutes later and located a remanned starter in there massive stock. It was such a relief. Arrived on scene and picked it up with no problems.Currently waiting functionality of starter but throughly pleased with customer service and prompt communication.

This is the second starter i have brought them in the last several months. In the past they have done alternators as well. the first starter was for a 63 Buick; the second for a 59 Triumph. very fast (one day) turnaround, very affordable, and fantastic work. i brought them a greasy dirty ugly thing and got back a pretty and polished piece of craftsmanship. Absolutely, positively, without a doubt the best people around for this.

If you have any alternator issues this is the place! My boats alternator went out and a replacement was going to cost $420.00 and take a week to receive. One phone call to these guys, my alternator was dropped off and repaired in less then an hour!! Our 4th of July weekend is saved. Thank you guys so much!
