A super cool shop until I came across some Jim Crow inspired art💔 I was enjoying my time shopping until I seen a case filled with degrading/ hurtful images of African Americans. I asked the nice ladies who worked there if they knew the history of this type of art and they just kind of dodged the questions. Instead one of them just kept talking about how much she loves “ Aunt Jemima syrup bottles” I’m assuming she’s the one that continues to collect that type of art for the shop. Anyways it just made me feel very unwelcomed and hurt. I’m aware that this is the dark history of America, and that this considered “antique” art but this seemed a bit overboard.

This shop is all its name suggests and more. It feels like nothing so much as stepping into a living 𝘐 𝘚𝘱𝘺 book with a vintage theme - theres just so much to see that its impossible to take in. The unique and sometimes rare antiques are hard to even categorize! Certainly worth a visit, even if just to look at it as a museum

This place is freaking awesome! Be prepared to spend some time here though. There are a more items in this space than I would have thought would ever fit. Tons of nostalgia that you can actually purchase. This place will definitely take you back to the good old days. Prices are very reasonable. For collectors of old books and magazines, something here for you too. Old toys-they got em... Coin and knife collectors-theyve got you covered. Want old dishes? Yup they got those too. I definitely recommend this place and Im going back. Definitely a little gem out in the middle of Lakewood. Do yourself a favor, go once at least.

Of all the antique shops in Dallas, this one has the most unique atmosphere. The items are actual antiques that date back over 100 years. There is also a lot of vintage collectibles and everything is arranged to where it does not feel overcrowded as you shop throughout the store. They are super friendly yet laid back. Curiosities is one of my more than highly recommended shops to go to if you like shopping for collectibles and antiques.

Oh my goodness I LOVED THIS PLACE!!! It’s a wonderful spot to visit, especially if you’re into some crazy antiques and oddities!! I was walking around talking every inch of the place in; there is just so much to see!! The staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable!! The prices are super fair, I don’t doubt there will be something there you LOVE!! I will most certainly go back again!! I will say it might not be the best place to bring kiddos but only because there is so much beautiful, fragile items there that they couldn’t help but wanna touch!! (Overall there is nothing too scary and nothing inappropriate) I loved this spot and will most certainly go back again!!

Always love this place. It can be a bit warm and stuffy in the summer but always so much fun. My favorite part of the store is the old medical equipment. Very cool stuff!

Coolest vintage and curio shop in dallas. The shop isnt biggest but it more than make up for that with curation and selection. The walls are packed with cool stuff to look at and buy and there is a huge variety of stuff to look at.

The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because we have been there a few times over the last 2 years and it doesnt seem to change much. But it IS VERY COOL if you have not scene it! If Carlos and I are close we will stop. Everything from oddities to nice jewelry to vinyl LPs! The people are very welcoming and kind. Check it out!

It is a tight squeeze in there and I was worried I would knock something down. But I loved every bit of this store! I didnt really encounter any employees until I was leaving but they were very friendly. :) Definitely check this shop out if you are near by!

Really awesome shop. Bigger than it looks. I especially loved all the vintage photos. There were drawers full of photos and tools and other little things. I spent a while just absorbing everything. Im sure theres something for everyone in here. Id love to come back if Im in Dallas again!

Super cute store. Has all kinds of stuff....ALL KINDS. Block out some time to be able to go through this store. I wouldnt bring kids...theres a lot of little stuff and very old stuff. Some prices are too steep but I guess it is what it is.

Highly recommend shopping here they have so much and prices are not too high, we discovered this place online, and went there to check it out. Great location, very fitting name. Theres a wide variety of booths, Jason was very helpful and he was super down to earth, he was closing but still helped us. We loved the place and can not wait to go back when we have more money and time. I would love to get lost in there, so much old and unique historical items.

No greetings as you walked in or walked around but they will watch you like a hawk. 2 old ladies watched is as we walked out...no thank you, no come again, no have a good day. Cool stuff in there, lots to look at but for us we wont support a business that wants to choose what customers to service.

Best oddities store in North Texas. This is a must-see place for anyone who comes to visit our family. Worth the drive if you live on the outskirts of the metroplex. Great staff. Endless supply of taxidermy, vintage photos, vintage medical supplies, circus memorabilia, military items, toys, you name it. We love this place.

This shop truly deserves a 5 star rating. The workers are very nice and love to help customers find what they are looking for. If you are a collector of vintage signs, medical antiques, folk art, photography, advertisement or any type of vintage/antique smalls I highly recommend this place. By far the best antique store Ive visited in all of Dallas. As far as the prices go they are very affordable and I can promise that you WILL find a bargain if you are into these type of collectibles.
