Very large Asian grocery store with a huge selection of food. Unfortunately when I went on Sunday around noon, it was very crowded with only a few checkers. The lines were over 10 peeling, so I didn’t stick around to shop. That said, I’ve been there several times in the past and the experience was always good. There’s a food court attached with all kinds of weird Asian food

Their customer service at the fish department is the ABSOLUTE WORST. Their manager at the fish department is also rude & lazy. They should uphold the closing policy they communicate with customers. I called to ask what time they fish department closes and stops cleaning and cutting fish, I was told 7:45pm, I asked are you sure? I was told yes as long as you get there before they close at 7:45pm they will attend to you. I arrived at 7:30pm and the people in line said they stopped cutting fish 10minutes ago. Their lazy rule is whoever they are currently cutting fish for at 7:45pm is the last person they will attend to. I tried to resin with the manger of their department but he was rude and nasty. Only the security guard was nice enough to explain the policy. According to him the “close 7:45pm but in order to get your fish cut he recommends arriving at 7pm”. Advice to management: communicate your policy clearly to staff so they don’t misinform customers. I wasted 40min driving down here.UPDATED REVIEW***The manager Sharon spoke with me the next time I visited and personally apologized for my experience. She also communicated the changes shes implemented to prevent such instances in the future.

The gentlemen working in the fish market are very nice. I was disappointed that the shrimp chips my daughter likes are no longer available there. The cashier was cordial.

Pretty much had everything I was looking for. The smell is definitely the scent of fresh fish in the market. The seafood and meats look amazing but I was not there for the meat. I was looking for oyster and emperor mushrooms, inwhich they did have. I will be going back to try out the meat...

So this is a good place to go to search for fruit thats in season. The wonders and sales are awesome. If you like to try new things and experience different cultures taste buds then this is it.

It is very good. the store is very pretty and it always smells yummy like fish. My father used to buy fish from here. There are lots of yummy food that is cheap too. I want to work here when I am older.

I have been shopping at the Hong Kong Market Place for over 20 years. Everything is very easy to locate. You dont even need to ask a lot of questions about locating items. Items are very easy to locate. The most amazing thing is the Fresh Sea Food section. I buy both live or non-live catfish, crabs, lobsters, crawfish, clams. They have different kinds of fish. This is the only place I buy fish. Its really awesome

The guys that run that place r very Kool! Nice guys and they even looked ut 402 w ball street my best for my best interest when a guy asked me to take him some where. Thanks guys for making me feel comfortable...keep up the good work

I go here all the time and love it. I buy frozen fish for my dogs, bones to make bone broth and tons on Asian veggies. They carry many ethnic stuff so look at aisle signs to find what you want.

Hong Kong market is a great place 2 shop. They have items that other grocery stores dont have and will never have. And Hong Kong market has the same things that other stores have. Dont sleep on them. Especially on the fish

This super market is unique due to the various types of products that are offered. Some stores do not carry uniformly same products. A variety is deemed necessary for those who have different pallets. My go to tea to detox and when I eat something heavy is the Extra Strength Dieter’s Nutra Slim. I have never seen it in a different flavor.I have also never seen Bulgogi Flavored Udon. Reasonable pricing and fast service 👍

This place could be a bit cleaner. Prices are kinda high for asian food but the variety is decent. The produce didnt seem that fresh and when you evaluate it with the price its not phenomenal. If you need a nearby grocery store for unique asian items, this will work. If youre looking for good quality foods at a good price, I would suggest searching around for other asian markets.

Best seafood/fish market around! My daughters love coming here to pick out there favorite Asian snacks and beverages that cannot be bought at your local american grocery store.

We planned on hosting a crawfish boil over this weekend. Knowing we needed live crawfish, I called Hong Kong Market and ordered 40 lbs in advance. I spoke with Qan, who at the time said they would have plenty available, but I insisted on putting an order in regardless so that we would not have to worry about them running out. As we were leaving our home to drive across Dallas to pick up our order, we decided to call them to let them know we were on our way. Qan informed me the had run out. He did not secure our order. I told him I was disappointed in the lack of service and attention to details…. Simple ones at that. I will not shop here again. Nor do I recommend anyone rely on them as it comes to respect and customer care.

It was ok...typical Asian markets, they tend to run out of good bitter melons. Sometimes I get disappointed because of the bitter melons they had were rotten or not fresh. In some cases it was fresh.

Someone side swiped my car in the parking lot while it was parked. Other then that, its my go to place for fresh seafood.

This market is well organized. It has great types of fish and many other African foods. I strongly recommend it. But they must solve the long queue for the fish.

Some or a lot of items dont have expiration date. Also, you need to keep your receipt in case you have item(s) to return if they determined its a returnable item.

I love to cook authentic Chinese food. Traveling across country, it can be difficult to find grocery stores that sell authentic seasonings and fresh ingredients. This grocery store was big, well-kept, and had everything I needed to stock back up.

Very clean and spacious grocery market!! I love it here, you have your international delights and goodies. Live sea crustaceans also known as seafood lol, anything from live blue crabs, live clams, live lobsters etc. Then its the frozen section where you can find your fav varieties of dumplings, pastas, shumas, fish balls and some!! A whole section of noodles will blow your mind lol.. Well mines anyway lol. The store is located near a really great Vietnamese restaurant, pho 95 and the crab place, so you can eat after spending hours shopping. Its a 24 min trip for me but I rather go here cause they have all I look for, oh and dont forget about kimchi!! Only thing is I have to start remembering to take pictures 😂😂😅

Exceptionally good service today especially the customer service. Very helpful, no hassle. Very professional. The meat department person that served us also changed, acting like a real employee unlike before, some having aristocratic attitude like they are all managers or owns the store. Also it seems they understand the customers better now instead of pretending to be dumb in order to impose their way.Better organized but still so congested.

Once you get past the smell...its awesome. So many awesome selections....meat & produce are fresh. Products from many different cultures....

The very first international style market that I tryed about a decade ago. They just keep getting better... the seasonal fruit is is priced well and the produce is fresh!

This place are no longer like it use to be very un organize.thier seafood are not fresh,the employee looks like not happy on their job. Their prices not clear which are the pricesThere are better place to go than this one.Troung Nguyen or Hiepthai where you can get fresh of everything.

If you african looking for good fish in Dallzd, thats the place to be. Their red drum and yellow cracker looks a lot like the Sosso fish we eqt back in Ivory Coast

Went looking for rice, this is my first time here. They had more than enough rice. A lot of food stuff is right here. Free parking, wheelchair parking and its wheelchair accessible. Really nice store.

We resided in the Bay Area for a few years before moving to this area so Im obviously biased - you cant spit without hitting a quality and authentic Asian grocery store in the Bay Area. With that being said, this will have to do! I was disappointed they had such a limited selection of fresh noodles and practically no baking section, but they had a majority of my staples and a decent produce selection, too. Taking some stars off because the store was dirty, and not just from a lack of cleaning that particular day. There is visible black mold and water damage covering the ceilings and beams. The freezers had severe condensation issues meaning theyre probably not working optimally to be kept at the right temperature at all times. Lastly, I can handle my fair share of unfamiliar smells...like I said the Bay Area has some amazing and authentic Asian markets, but this one definitely has a muster that made me not want to leisurely browse for too long. To be fair, I am pregnant right now so my sensitivity to smells is heightened and that could be it, too. Ill let you be the judge! Overall, it is a good option when there are few to find in this area.

Too much things to choose, I found things that I didnt find anywhere!! I recommend this store.

I stopped by today for fresh crawfish and was not disappointed! I purchased 4lbs for $16! There was only 3 lines when I was ready to checkout but they opened 2 more after another customer complained. I would probably go earlier in the day next time, it was very busy when I went in the afternoon!

The smell when you walk in is absolutely atrocious and makes you feel gross and dirty just being in there like its saturating you but their produce section for fruit is awesome.

They have the best bread called Jolly Jolly. But the store smells soooo bad like rotting meat. I gag EVERY time I have to go there for bread and the two times I bought meat one (turkey wings) were bad and (ground beef) made me ill.

I have lived in the area surrounding this supermarket for many years, and while the selection of Asian ingredients is diverse and wide, Ive noticed that the quality of the store itself has gone down. It is the main place I head to when I need supplies to make Vietnamese or Chinese dishes at home though! Quick unrelated note: according to an employee, they dont carry Squid Brand fish sauce anymore.

Great place if you are looking for Thai food ingredients / Asian and great prices on all seafood and meat!There are a load of authentic spices and liquids that you might need. I wish it was closer to me,but had to go here today for some special Ingredients that I needed for my meals this week. This is a must to experience in Dallas

Genuine customer service was in great absence when me and my son were at this place. It looks like the management doesnt really care how its people treat customers. The fish section was busy and customers were lining up and the meat department next to it had no customer to serve with. I asked one of the guys who worked in the meat section for help, but he refused to do so saying he worked for the meat section. Attentive staff never exist every time I come to that place but the guy who works as security as he always greets you.

The place had makeover with new equipments and clean, attractive, modern layout. The shelves in the aisles are clean, lowered, and condensed by not having too many different brands and items of the same thing that has no English translation on the labels. The top shelves are not overstacked like before that actually made the place looked darker. The produce and fruit aisle to the left has much improved with everything clearly labeled and priced competitively. The fresh meat and seafood section in the back doesnt smell like before so they must have scrubbed all the equipments, the floor, and surrounding area. I would have to say that it was a pleasant experience to shop here recently and Im looking forward to come back when Im in the area. I have to take off 1 star because they dont stock some of the items that I normally buy.

Good for veggies and fruits that are in season. I always meet the most wonderful people just shopping and have actually made a couple of friendships just from shopping and simply saying hello to fellow customers. I try to go at least every 2 months.

There is definitely a strong fish smell permeating through the market; its most pungent in the back. I wouldnt say Id want to shop here frequently, but I think it makes a nice trip for some less common fixings because of its location. I did enjoy their large selection of spices and other common items one might find in similar Asian markets.

Great selection of produce and herbs, the herbs here are by far the best Ive ever seen and prices are very reasonable. At the food court area both the roast duck and roast pork is amazing, definitely recommended. Havent tried anything else but will in the future.

A great place where I get all my groceries at one stop and off course the checking out process is always smooth. I like the black old man in charge of the check out unit also. He us such and amazing guy. 5 star experience here always

I go here almost every week for vegetables. Their meat is good too. I dont trust their frozen food, have gotten some melted and refrozen meals. They have cheap shrimp that are 16/20 size. Gets crowded on Sundays and they dont have many cashiers. Decent selection and I can always find a sauce or seasoning I need here.

I was going to pick up some meat here but after reading reviews, I think not. People, fresh fish DOES NOT smell fishy. It smells like seaweed. If this place reeks of fish they are selling old, and or bad meat. Nope. Not going now.

We like the store and sometimes have good selection but not much also use to be better and more customers, seems dirty now and their are some employee that are not friendly. Not sure if they are an employee but they seems to be going around the store and looking up on what you are doing, talking on his cellphone and seems to be saying of what you are doing. No plan to go back in this area.
