My wife scheduled my appointment so I had to go and in retrospect I am happy she did. It has taken me 6 months to grow my beard so I am very hesitant to allow someone manicure it. As I sat down and spoke with the barber I felt relieved because I knew that he knew what he was doing. He did an amazing job on my beard. I stood up and looked in the mirror and was so happy, I tipped him double what I would normally tip for this type of service. I would strongly recommend “The Art Of Shaving” located in the North Park Mall to anyone who lives in Dallas.

Monty was really helpful and polite! I cant speak for all of their products, but their beard balm and mustache wax are highly recommended! Will definitely stop in again any time Im in the area.

If youre going to get a beard trim I would be very, Very, VERY descriptive. Bring photos and ask for a mirror while they work. I thought I had described a natural more full look just mildly tapered. What he heard is make me look like V for Vendetta.

This place is awesome. My girlfriend have me a personal shave as a gift. I was skeptical at first thinking isnt it a little girly to get a facial, and do I want someone at my neck with a sharp blade? Boy was I wrong. The hot towels and rose oil felt great. You feel like a new man after having the close shave and personal attention. I wish I could remember the barbers name, but he was great.I cant recommend this place a lot.

Terrible quality versus price. I went in to get some DE blades and they offered one brand that isnt even that good. They wanted way to much money for them too. One of the main points of wet shaving is to save money not blow it on overated junk. Personal opinion this chain really missed the mark of what they could potentially gain from and provide to the wet shaving community. Thumbs down from me for now hopefully they will read reviews and improve in order to tap into there full potential.

I wanted to get my first professional trim before going out on my birthday weekend. Called Friday to book an appointment for Saturday at 6:30PM. Driving to North Park Mall on a Saturday evening and finding parking is no joke. I get there at 6:25 and they told me they were one shave behind and they didnt know how long it was going to take. I told them I had a 6:30 appointment and had other things to do. If they were backed up they could have called me so I would have saved 2 hours of my time, but they didnt. Thought this place was on top of their game, but it wasnt. Wont give them a chance unless they offer me a free trim or two.

Staff was not very helpful or knowledgable. The selection is insanely limited. They only offer their house brand items which are mediocre quality at the mid ranged and just OK for the real expensive stuff. Most of the things there, especially the brushes, can be found at a third of the cost with better quality. I don’t think I can mention specific places but if you read any of the online forums about wet shaving you will find what you need. To anyone who knows wet shaving seeing an art of shaving product is like seeing a timex watch with a rolex price tag.

Every time my boyfriend goes there he comes out looking like a million bucks! Huge fan.

Overpriced and inexperienced, I have a D E razor and can shave better then the chains general manager, this place is for overprivlaged whiteboys that couldnt get their dad to teach them how to shave
