Well, after having a bad experience at another brewery nerby. We decided to go to Peticolas where we were greeted with a smile and the beertender offered as many samples as we wanted. We had a great time. The beer and the service was EXCELLENT! We’ll be going back for sure. Kudos to Travis, the guy behind the bar for his amazing service.

Ive gone here for years and I realized I have yet to leave any reviews! This is THE #1 brewery in Dallas and if you think otherwise, youre wrong. The beer is to die for and the service is always great! I come here almost weekly for pickup and I have enjoyed many of their events. I have so much merchandise from here that I should probably be getting paid for the advertisement :P If you know whats good for you, youll check them out!

My husband and I have visited about ten breweries in the DFW area and this is far and away our favorite spot. Deep in the heart of an industrial district of downtown Dallas, you’ll find this well laid out three floor bar in a remodeled warehouse. The beer is good, y’all. Really good. The staff are kind and helpful and the vibe is comfortable. If you’re looking for a fun afternoon out, check out Peticolas. I wish it were closer to us!

Peticolas beer is so good, and Im glad I finally checked out the brewery. It is super chill, BYOF (can bring in any food you want, and occasionally there are food trucks outside), with lots of seating and a ping pong and Foosball table upstairs. Its a great place to gather with friends or go on a low-key date.

Excellent beer! They do a great job of brewing many different styles of beer and doing it well. I recommend getting a flight so you can try 4 at a time. The building is pretty sweet too with 3 stories of seating and games tucked away in the Design District. Peticolas actually has cute merch too, which is not super common for microbreweries!

Had an awesome first time at Peticolas last night with some friends. The brewery had an adult game night with tons of fun games and of course delicious craft beer! Peticolas is located in the reviving market district area surrounded by new and localrestaurants, businesses, and warehouses. Upon entering Peticolas you are greeted by the beautifully wood wrapped stairs and floor. The stairs open up to their medium sized bar area with open air seating on the left side and closed seating on the right side. There is tons of room to spread out, have a meet up, and just relax and have a few beers. And the beers are delicious! I am not a huge beer drinker, but the peach ale and the dont call it a cola were my jam! The peach ale was very light and refreshing and at 12% ABV is stronger than you think--but so easy to have one or two, okay maybe three. The dont call it a cola was a dark beer with a nice hint of vanilla.Unfortunately they do not have food on site, but you are welcome to bring in your own. The staff are super nice as well and allow you to try various beers and they are just gracious hosts.I definitely would come back to Peticolas for their beer and for some games; and of course the amazing customer service! I felt like I was at home!

I’ve had @peticolasbrewing beer plenty of times but never experienced the brewery. The magic in that is enjoying the beer on tap and chatting with the staff. It’s very likely they just tapped a beer listed on the wall. The Peach Ale (fruit beer)was such a beer. It’s a peach packed cask version of our barleywine. I had a couple of those while we played the game Sh*t happens card game, which will be on TBS later this year. The concept is using cards that list different bad situations. Then to keep my wits about myself I had Don’t Call it a Cola (herbed Beer) at 6.8% a lightly hopped Scottish ale with the classic flavor and aroma #barleywine #herbed #shithappensgame #eaterdallas #undeniable #dallaseats #craftbeergirlgeek

The true cornerstone of Dallas area brewers. Beer made with a family commitment to flavor and tradition. Don’t miss “”What’s New” as you decide what to drink.Take time to meet the staff. Ask them what they think about “Sit Down” and after you have one see if they can articulate the Peticolas crest and how much heart and soul into every flavor they create.Come thirsty but leave safe!Cheers

Such a cool space. And really surprisingly busy for being tucked into the most industrial feeling portion of the industrial park area of the design district. The girl checking IDs at the door could’ve been more helpful and welcoming to first timers, but that didn’t concern me near as much as the fact that their style of brewing just didn’t do much for my tastes of beer. I found both beers we tried to be tough to drink with ease and left over half pints remaining. This would keep me from returning for just the beer.

As someone who lives outside of Peticolas distribution area (and who had previously had their beers only at the Texas Craft Brewers Festival), I was extremely excited to stop by the brewery for the first time.My Dad and I sampled 10 out of 17 offered beers - and all of them were fantastic. I am not sure what type of magic they use to make so many different beer styles and yet make them all so well. The tap room is unlike any tap room I have visited before: three levels, with what appeared to be games on the top level. The space is also family friendly.Come prepared with your own food, as they only have a small collection of snacks on-site for sale (however, there was a food truck outside of the brewery when we were there). You will want food in your belly so that you can keep drinking their higher alcohol beers.Peticolas is a destination brewery!

I’ve hosted a couple of events here and it’s easily my favorite place for parties. Bailey tended bar for my daughter’s birthday celebration and her knowledge of the beers available was excellent. She guided those who usually don’t choose beer (what????) to a style they enjoyed by listening to their preferences. The space is great and easy to set up and decorate. It felt like home without all the stress! The quality of the beer is the best in Dallas, of course. Cheers!

Really like the beer. Been here multiple times and like how menu changes. Only reason low rating is that last time was at the bar and it seemed like the bar staff was more interested in flirting than serving people at the bar. One person specifically was hanging over the bar for a good five minutes just talking to a girl who already had a full beer rather than help those who were without.Maybe he didn’t realize, I thought at least, but after getting our order and filling it quickly, he went right back to talking to girl than showing attention to others. I understand maybe it was his wife, or girlfriend, but it was offputting to feel like you weren’t there in the moment.

The Peticolas lineup of beers rivals other breweries in Texas and across the US. I enjoyed their IPA at a local burger spot. Then, walking along the waterway, I stumbled across their taproom. Best night to cap my trip to TX. I have traveled from east to west coast and everywhere in between. Peticolas has a great take on a lot of beer styles. Well balanced and every “special” beer is never over the top. For example, the ghost chili pepper brown has a bit of warmth, but not “melt your face off” chili spice. The Duke barley wine is the most drinkable 12% barley wine I’ve ever had.I am a home brewer with quite high standards when it comes to beers, and I think Peticolas is in my top 5 of breweries in the country. The diversity of beer treats, the taproom ambiance, and the friendliness and approachability of the staff is great! I arrived hungry, and was happy to hear that I could order food from a local food place AND have it added to my tab (rather than paying separate). Enjoy the little things. And they make all the difference. If I lived in Dallas, I would be a regular. Unfortunately, I live in Wisconsin.I can’t wait to see what this brewery does next. They obviously have a great perspective on how to succeed in an ever competitive beer market.Cheers!

I like this local brewery because they have so many traditional brews. There is so much emphasis on IPAs, that people forget that there are many different types of beers. They have strong standards like Velvet Hammer, Sit Down and Golden Opportunity, but their seasonal beers are great also. Their dark, strong ale, Wintervention, goes well with the cold weather and the foods of this time of year. Their imperial stout, Black Curtains, is perfect to sit around an enjoy the weather.

They staff is friendly and even when its busy they get beers out quick. The taproom is an awesome place with its own unique style. This is the best brewery in Dallas. The team is in it for the right reasons, to make a great glass of beer every single time. And they do it. The tap room is exactly what you want. Filled with laughs, good times, and great beer. No matter your style preference, Peticolas has a beer for you. Many smaller breweries fall into the team of trying to do too much, Peticolas focuses first on quality and truth to style of beer, meaning that every glass is the best it can be.
