Fun place to shop around or even spend time window shopping

Candy selection not bad but what I bought was stale. I mean, seriously?? The girl at the counter with the colored hair was super sweet but this was a number of months ago. Its hard to move around and maybe a bit overstimulating so heads up if you are claustrophobic or neurodivergent. Might be a bit too much. Cool signs, too pricey. Overall it was ok but the two stars was for the stale rainbow twisty lollie. Lot of diverse shops in Deep Ellum, check out the others around.

Being a veteran owned business, you should have more respect for people of color. I refuse to spend my hard earned cash with a company that racially profiles its customers. I had family out of town and tried to show them the city. Its unfortunate that we had to leave the store because of this.

Honestly Im from Brownsville and its my first time Ive ever been to Rocket Fizz and I was entirely stoked i loved how everything was one of the best moments in my little vacation !

Wide selection of candies and chocolates! Favorite place for Belgian chocolate almonds and sugar free varieties! They also have Japanese and Mexican products!

I always find different candy that I want to try! They are so nice, friendly, and helpful. I have visited with and without my kids. Best place to find new candy!

Awesome customer service, dropped in 15 mins before closing the girl was super nice I was bummed that they didnt have any Mars bars or Jolt cola, she told me that it takes awhile to get orders for the Mars bars which I understand, also said theyre trying to order Jolt cola, the more obscure stuff is hard to find, its all good I ended up buying a few items and will probably head back in before I return to California. Awesome 👍 place.

This place is rad! Like walking into a time bubble. Retro everything! I loved the tin posters I took pictures of a lot as personal memes, and the candy selection is the best. If you are looking for retro memorabilia this is for you!

This place used to be amazing. As of August 2020 it has new owners and already feels like an empty corporate extention meant to make money.2021Shelves ate more organized, which feels too sterile, although it is easier to find things. Employees are nice. Get rid of the bacon stuff cause it stinks up the store.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff punctuate the awesome selection of sodas and candy at this place. Both times weve come the staff have happily helped us pick out a new soda to try, and were talkative and personable the whole time.If you are in Deep Ellum and in need of a good soda, this is the place to stop!

They have an excellent variation of soda pops. It brought back good memories for my dad and step-mom by the old soda flavors. They also had a wide foreign candy selection.

The staff is always friendly and helpful here. The soda selection is certainly impressive. A fun pit stop for kids and adults.

A quirky little retro candy store that provides candy and soda from the earlier eras. Its such a cool little place that will definitely bring you back to your childhood! Its right in the middle of deep ellum so if youre out and about either drinking, eating, or shopping in the area you need to put this on your list of places to stop by. In addition to the candy they have all different flavors and varieties of soda that you wouldnt normally find any other place.

I came in here the other day for a variety of candy and the service was just outstanding. A young gentleman by the name of Fin was very helpful and helped me throughout my time there. There is a wide variety of candy and the store was clean and in order I would definitely come again.

This place is an amazing treat in Deep Ellum. It offers a wide selection of candy and cool little gadgets like vinatge signs/posters, pez dispensers, cream sodas and even beer! The same man who has helped me each time Ive gone in is very friendly and welcoming.

Awsome store with great selection of old school reprints of famous musician tour dates. This place is a gem for the low key music collector.

They have a great selection of candies and drinks here. If you cant find something that interests your sweet tooth I dont know what would. They have two rewards programs that offer discounts. One is their VIP which is 5% off and the other is a living local one which is 10%. You have to be a local resident to qualify for the second though.

Great selection! I send all my friends here who are looking for specialty sodas and candy. They have it all! Do a 4-pk soda and you can get a tasting of several. They also have a courteous, knowledgeable and friendly staff. If youre in Deep Ellum, the meters are free to park at until 6 p.m.

It felt overpriced but the real state is prime dollar. I love the store and took the lady to get some odd candies. Good experience.

Great fun place to buy hard to find candy! If you love taffy, you must visit! They have flavors you didnt even know you wanted! Candy is a bit pricey but lots of fun!

Wee were able to pick up 3 new brands of ginger beer to try, from one quick stop. The staff was quite helpfu,l and the store was clean and well cared for.

Great selection. My travel companion however felt like we were being watched maybe because we had made multiple trips around the store which I guess could have been suspicious. Despite her concerns, the staff was helpful and respectful when we approached them about location of the candy we were looking for.

This place is awesome. I live out in the sticks and if I get anywhere near I have to stop. So many soda flavors to pick from you could be there for hours or just ask the super helpful staff.

Great place to get diabetes! I love this candy shop! They have a ton of different candies with a few from other countries. They also get special edition and new stuff from time to time like Sour Punch Mango Chili straws, so expect to see different things each time you come. Parking is hard to find and they sometimes run out of my favs, but its always a fun time and worth it. If youre visiting Dallas, its a nifty place to visit. Oh, and they have weird sodas to try plus some uber yummy fruity bottled drinks.

Its like Willy Wonka low key set up shop in Deep Ellum. Prices are what you might expect for niche sodas and confectionery. I got a 4 pack of sodas for I think 8.50My diabeetus hates me but my tastebuds love me!

CANDY CANDY CANDY! Every time my husband and I come to dallas we make it a point to stop here. The fill a bag for a set price is my favorite but they also probably have some candies that you havent seen in a very long time. The staff is very friendly and ready to help or even point you in the direction of good food or even a show. Also being lactose intolerant I love that they offer so much with no chocolates! And the sodas! Sooooo many sodas to try! Definitely add this to one of your stops when visiting dallas, go out of your way to come here if you like candy!

Great american candy store, only putting a star lower because of the very low section of imported candies they had. They do have your typical japanese pocky but not much else from other countries.
