Jake was very professional and did a wonderful job causing my wife and sisters tattoo experience minimal pain. They also help you with the design process and important points to consider before getting a tattoo. I was very pleased with my knuckle tattoos as he took his time so that the letters were very clean, sharp and crisp. Overall, I had a 5 star experience and would definitely recommend them. This place is fantastic. Jacob the owner is a great artist and he went above above and beyond to not only give me a great tattoo but also made sure I was comfortable the entire time.I got the top of my feet tattooed (pictures coming ones it heals) and although this area is very painful he successfully mitigated the pain by being careful and knowledgeable of the area and his technique. He made sure I wasnt in pain and he trucked on for 7hrs straight (my back hurts just thinking about it)Fantastic Shop, great people, inviting atmosphere. Im so impressed and will be coming back to this place for sure.

It was a Wednesday, and I had an impulse to get my nose pierced. This shop was only late night spot in the area, so I gave them a call because of their good ratings and just in case I punked out. I lucked out and picked the best shop that I could’ve. The price was super reasonable, AND I got a tattoo for a good price during the appointment too. Oh, plus the appointment was immediate, no wait. Super nice owner and staff and it’s SPOTLESS, so I will definitely be back.

Came in the shop after scheduling an appointment with Jacob, and I can’t complain. I gave him a drawing to work with, he made an even better stencil, while keeping in all of the main components I desired. He pays great attention to detail and really puts in an effort to give you what you paid for. There’s a certain comfort you get at Sphynx that you can find at any other tattoo shop. It’s a very “at home” vibe.Overall my experience was amazing and I don’t plan on going anywhere else to get my tattoos.Sphynx provides great customer service and flawless execution. Y’all!! I called Sphynk Ink after 11 pm last night because I had an emergent issue where my nose ring had come out after getting it pierced 2 hours prior at a completely different shop. That shop just told me to come back the next day. I knew that wouldn’t be a good idea due to an infection risk. Come to find out, it was pierced with the incorrect piercing. Jacob got up out of his bed (on his day off) and met me at the shop which was more than 30 minutes away and re-pierced my nose for me. He didn’t have to do that at all. He was really professional and clean. Thanks Jacob. I really appreciate you. So yes...this shop is the bomb!!

Went there last night after work to get my nostril rings changed to something different and i can’t even remember his name but Im assuming maybe he was the owner... if he wasn’t regardless i was being a big crybaby cause im very cautious about my nose rings because of how easy they keloid and we weren’t able to get one of my nostril rings out due to the place i had went to get it pierced at placed it on way too tight. He told me he could cut it out and i was so nervous lmao i even told him no ill do it myself but he was very patient with me and reassured me that ill be fine and that it will be painless as it was. I really appreciate him for being kind to me especially after me being a brat thinking i can do it myself. 10/10 recommend

Me and my fiancé went to Jacob at Sphynx ink last night to get some pretty big and detailed pieces. i have wanted this Junji Ito piece since i was 16 and just hadn’t found the right artist to do it. He is a phenomenal job of re-creating this piece on my skin! i am absolutely obsessed with his work. He paid attention to every detail on both of our pieces and made sure he had it just how we wanted. There customer service was 10/10 and his artwork is incredible! if you are looking at getting a tattoo i would highly recommend Sphynx ink and i will definitely be coming back for the rest of my tattoos!

Jarrod handle my foot tattoo, My very first foot tattoo he was as gentle as you could be in sensitive areas as the foot also he made a minor adjustment to my tattoo so i could fit my small foot anndd It made the tattoo look even more beautiful. He was very friendly didnt even feel as if I just met him. Quickly made me feel like we were family and close as anyone could be. Jacob handle my double nose pericing he prepared me for everything as he was doing also talking and sharing great laughs with me and my boyfriend during our whole time there. Most definitely recommend you getting anything done here! Cant have a honest, sincere and certainly professional experience more then with these two. I will be coming back again!

Man!!! I love this guy. Jacob is doing a great job. When I first walked in, he greeting me and tried to get me the music that I like and make me feel more comfortable. Because I came from Cambodia, he played Cambodian songs since the beginning of session until I walked out. He really nice and real professional to me as his client. He help and give me an idea about sizing my tattoo. Because he know this tattoo is meaning a lot to me. He real good on what he doing and setup stuff real fast for the session. During the tattoo, he really patient and pay attention. I noticed that Jacob always come back and look into detail and touch up on what he missed. By the way, the tattoo machine that he use is really nice. It doesnt make the loud noise at all. I barely notice that he turn on the tattoo machine. While tattooing we were talking for the whole session. And I forget about the pain. The special thing that you cannot find on other tattoo Studio is Jacob had touch up my previous tattoo from other artist make it look nicer and more straighter line for free. I mean where can you find that? After my session and, he even walked me out the door. I bet some of other tattoo artist they dont do that after you pay them. This is my personal experience. I definitely go back to Jacob again on on my next project.Jacob you are doing a really great job. God bless you.

I got a pretty large tattoo on my left forearm from Jacob. It looks amazing and is healing great. He was really nice and the piece came out perfect. The shop was clean, there was good music, and I was very comfortable the entire time and his prices were great also. He listened to what I wanted and worked with me to create the right piece. He drew up several drafts for me before we landed on the right one. He was very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be doing it. I’ve been to other shops where the artists can sometimes seem a bit condescending and impatient but that was not the case here. I will definitively be back for more very soon.

I have my tattoo that will never be shown due to going somewhere all my friends went to get a tattoo, but not actually researching it (19 years ago LoL). My son is 18 and has been wanting a memorial tattoo in honor of my dad for a few years, and I didnt want him to repeat my 1st tat experience. So, I didnt want to settle on a place for price. When I first got a quote, I was doubtful of the work we would be getting, but went ahead and did some more research on them and decided to go. I left Sphynx Ink feeling like we were not charged near enough.Im gonna start off with, when you get to Sphynx Ink, if you think youre in the wrong place (because no way does a tattoo shop belong in a professional complex like this one), youve most likely found it. Walking in, you notice its clean and inviting. I actually like that they dont have designs all over the wall to choose from! I always feel like Im at an amusement park henna tattoo booth when I look at walls to try to find something that would look nice. (jmho) If theyre busy, lounge on the couch, watch TV and just veg out. My son worked on his Sociology term paper while we waited.Next, the art piece. We went with a vision of what we wanted. Let me make a suggestion, dont ever go completely set on wanting something to look exactly like ___. Jacob took what we wanted and improved it 300%. It is so much more beautiful than what I imagined us getting. He incorporated exactly what we wanted, but made it look realistic and much cleaner. Also, we didnt get there until midnight. There was no irritation (or if there was, theyre damn good at being professional enough to hide it well 😆) and they vowed to do their best, no matter how long it would take.Finally, the finished product. Something to be proud of. Something Im glad I decided to get at the same time as my son got his. Its amazing. I cant wait until I go back for my cover up piece for a 22 year old mistake that needs fixed 😁
