We originally thought this would be a good service to supplement for our son, for him to be able to have access to the same books he was reading at school on his tablet. However, the selection is not at all what they advertise. We realized this about 2-3 days into the free trial and I called the toll free number to cancel. The representative didnt do her job and actually cancel it like she said she did. I didnt find that out until I received a charge for them. To which I immediately emailed them and called them to try and rectify the situation. Well the rep said she would make sure it was actually cancelled this time and would have a manager call me back or email me about getting the charge refunded to me.Well I received a canned email telling me I didnt cancel in time (which I did but their employee didnt do their job correctly, and based on the canned email wording it makes me think they do this often to people) so the email in short said sorry but you basically have to accept this is how it is and eat the cost but you can have access to our horrible selection of books in exchange.I emailed back and asked how that was fair to me at all since I did what I was supposed to and cancelled only 2 days after we started the free trial. And guess what? The same canned email was sent to me.So stay away from this company, it seems like this is commonplace for them to do to their customers.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I signed up for the free trial because I couldnt see if they had the one book I was looking for,(spoiler alert) they didnt. As it got closer to the day that would actually charge me I went ahead and logged on to try to cancel my subscription. Searched and searched and could not figure it out so naturally I forgot about it. About 2 weeks prior to getting charged I had my wallet stolen from me, therefore I had canceled that specific card. Once the charge actually came through I called in to cancel and actually figured it out while on my phone but now they will not refund me my $20 for a subscription that I didnt even use during the free trial.

I was robbed!!!This site is terrible! I called in November to cancel my subscription that I opened as a free trial to find a college book. I acknowledge that it was my fault to leave the account open by accident while trying to figure out college on my own with online classes and being a freshman in a different state from my family. I was unimpressed when I did call in November to cancel and ask for at least a partial refund of the $80 dollars that I was charged for a site that didnt have the book I was looking for and that I never used at all other than to look for one specific book. I was told that my account had been cancelled. Then on December 3rd and December 31st I was charged with an overall total of $40. I only realized now in February. I called to figure out what had happened and I was hung up on. On my second attempt I was answered and told that my account was actually closed on December 30th. HOW WAS I CHARGED ON DECEMBER 31ST THEN!!!!! I still dont know if they will refund me a single cent.

Unfortunately it didnt have the books I wanted, but if it did then this app would be great! I am not sure about the cancellation problems that others had because I emailed them asking to cancel and I got an email back an hour later saying that it was cancelled. I checked, and it is cancelled and since it is in the free period, I wont be billed. Pretty good, quick customer service, I think.

I was far to quick to give them a high rating. After I cancelled my account, because of the increasingly shady accounting they continued billing me 20 bucks a month for about 3 extra months before I became aware of it. Beware!

I have had a little difficulty accessing two books I signed up for but I cannot get into them. Otherwise I think that Kindle book that I have I have already purchased through Kindle are of the highest quality and the service has been tremendous.

I just signed on to audio books and was asked to do a survey and give a review.

This business is horrible. Their customer service reps are rude when you try to get them to fix any issue for you-- constantly cutting me off, rushing the conversation, and not letting me complete the rest of my complaint before offering a solution that has nothing to do with my issue. When you sign up for their free trial, they dont send an email stating when it is supposed to end, nor do they send one reminding you that its almost over/ to cancel it. Even though I didnt download any content from their site (they never had any of the books I needed) I was still billed $20. This site is NOT WORTH IT. If you need books for class I suggest you use ANY other site than this one unless you care to deal with them never having what you need and being rude and short with you while you try to get them to fix issues. Last but certainly not least, you CANNOT cancel your membership yourself via their website. You HAVE to call them and have them cancel it for you. If I could rate this business lower than 1 star I would.

I signed up on the June 19, 2020 and cancelled my subscription via phone call on the June 25, 2020. Id only used ALL YOU CAN READ BOOKS services for 5 days!! I trusted that the option to cancel by phone would be enough, but I was very wrong!! A month later on the 21st of July, 2020 after Id canceled my subscription, I noticed that they had taken out $19.99 from my account anyway. I called in to see what had happened and demand a refund. The rep told me that there was nothing in their the records that showed I had canceled my account, but they were going to cancel it NOW. I shouted NOW?, what are talking about, it should have cancelled a month ago!!! She said she would put in for a refund, but for me to be assured that it was canceled NOW. a few days later a manager emailed me and pretty much reiterated the same thing the first customer representative said except this time she made me feel like I hadnt comprehended what Id read in the first welcoming email regarding not canceling with the 30 day trial period. I responded back and said, that I did read them which is why I cancel it within the first 30 days!!! She failed to respond back to me after that. So today I call in again because I noticed that there was no refund. Once again the rep argued that there hadnt shown a cancellation for me. and I told her that that was because I was lied to by another misleading representarive. The woman also try to blame by saying I SHOULD HAVE called back if I hadnt seen a cancellation confirmation email as if it was MY RESPONSIBILITY to make sure that they completed their job. Personally I dont think that Im the only one who theyve done is to.

I had never used the account and they were still charging me money from my bank account. I had emailed the company and said that they had a tremendous response due to the fact that they have a unlimited free access to all books. They would not let me cancel my subscription. I was not able to unsubscribe my account until I had looked up on Google on how to unsubscribe from the account. I was lucky to find a away from how to.

UNLIMITED AUDIOBOOKS FOR A FLAT RATE! This a godsend for me. I go through several books a week at work, but audiobooks are so expensive for as often as I need a new one. The library is nice, but wait times for holds and missing books from series was a constant nightmare! 20 a month is well worth it!

I had a scary experience, put in all my bank details and besides the fact that the website is very immaturely made, without proper navigation, I couldnt find anywhere to cancel my membership! There were none of the books I wanted and I suddenly thought the fact that there was zero link to cancel was because it was a scam. Moved all my money out of my account. Google searched it and someone had said to manually type in the link with cancel at the end. Thank goodness it came up and I cancelled and I kept my money out of my account for a few days. Thankfully it doesnt seem like they will take anything, but not a nice experience!

I had canceled withing the trial period. They didnt submit my cancelation and then would.not refund me the charges they made to my account. Poor customer service and didnt like the selection, which is why I canceled. Do not sign up unless you want them to charge you for a service that is not used!! Bad customer service

I was so happy to find this app, such a better deal than Audible which charges you for every download! Im a truck driver who has recently discovered the joy of listening to audio books during my long days. So much better than the radio, even satellite radio gets redundant so audio books have saved me. I have researched many options for audio books and the monthly cost on top of the fee per download was very excessive. Yes some of them have more titles than this app but I imagine their selection will grow as their membership grows.

Shocking!! First they make it so hard to unsubscribe that you get charged before you can work out how to unsubscribe. Then after fighting for my refund they said they had refunded me when actually they charged me AGAIN and then refunded that charge so I still have not received my refund. Fraudulence!!!

I downloaded the app to see if they had the book I wanted then cancelled when I found out they didn’t I received a charge for a month subscription which I called the App Store and had it removed just to find out months and months later that all you can books has been charging me a monthly fee ever since. Not only that even writing this review I had to log out and log back into my Google account because it kept sending me in the loop but only when you push one star. I definitely want to be reimbursed since I haven’t use the service once and cancelled after less than an hour Of having the app, Then cancelled and got a refund for the first month I was charged because of the fact they could see that I had deleted it and cancelled my subscription right away the first time. I just wanna make it clear this is the only bad review I’ve ever written for a company and I will continue to express my feelings towards this company until I am reimbursed because this is ridiculous
