I found my wedding dress here on Saturday! I could not have done it without Ebony! She is so amazing!! She’s the one who actually found THE dress! I went through the ones I picked and thought maybe I should try somewhere else. She then brought me 4 more to try that were exactly what I was wanting!! I am very petite so the dresses had to be clipped up everywhere and she made sure to do that for me with every dress! Which was like 10 dresses! She is AMAZING!!! I always had a hard time finding a dress for my size as Im a size 18. I always end up with something big and frilly and I feel like the dress is wearing me. I never wear strapless or tight because because I dont have a waist and I feel frumpy in them. Silver helped me today and I finally found a hoco dress. What an incredible experience at Terry Costa!!! Highly recommend for any occasion, especially bridal. I’m a plus sized bride and most plus sized women know that trying on clothes can be a little traumatic, depending on where you go. Terry Costa is such a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the people working there are fantastic. I felt like a queen from the moment I walked in (on the red carpet!) to the moment I checked out! My consultant Jade was so sweet, so helpful, and made me feel so beautiful. I happened to go during a trunk sale (didn’t even realize LOL!) and found a PERFECT designer dress for 20% off! They have an awesome runway area with beautiful lights and mirrors so you will feel your best. And their selection of dresses - including extended sizes - is HUGE. I’m pretty sure there is something for everyone here. Additionally, they have a beautiful selection of general evening gowns and prom dresses, and plenty of space for everyone to have their own area. And when you purchase a bridal gown there, anyone in your wedding can buy ANYTHING (doesn’t have to be wedding related) in store for 15% off up until your wedding. What a win!! Joey and Gail deserve a 5 star review for helping my mom and I find her Mother of the Bride dress! We have been struggling to find the right dress and the right place to shop for a Mother’s dress for my wedding but we found a winner at TC with the help of this duo. I went in defeated that I wouldn’t find my homecoming dress and I walked out with the biggest smile and the best dress. Everywhere I went prior didn’t have dressed available and homecoming was a month away, which isn’t much time. So coming into Terry Costa with plenty of amazing and beautiful options was a blessing! Heather, the tall blonde at the Dallas location was awful. She was supposed to help my friend and I, and was constantly gone and not there to help. She was assigned to my friend and I and most of the time a super nice girl with bubble buns was helping us. Whenever I went to try on a size smaller in a dress she told me not to and that it wouldn’t fit me. When she wouldn’t grab it for me my other friend who was done trying on dresses (because the dress selection for any size larger than a 10 is awful.) grabbed it for me she rolled her eyes at her and followed her to my room. The dress fit much better and then she proceeded to make excuses for why it did. I then went to take a picture of said dress, not knowing I couldn’t do so, and she told me “Girl, you absolutely cannot be taking pictures in here. There are signs everywhere saying that.” I said okay and stopped taking pictures. She then left the dressing room and didn’t help me again. I had an unlimited budget for my prom dress and will not be returning. She also did not grab a single dress for me.

Lucy and Catalina were both so wonderful here! I’d learned recently that you’d need longer than 6 or 7 months to find a dress and get it made and delivered, so I was really anxious about it.But they both were so extremely helpful and patient the two times I’d been there. I ended up being able to buy off the rack and take my dream dress home!I highly recommend this place to find your perfect dress!

Kat was so very helpful and kind. She made my daughter feel like a princess as she tried on lots of dresses in search of the perfect one for her Senior Homecoming. We traveled 6 hours from a small town called Maurice in Louisiana to do prom dress shopping in Dallas Our first stop was Terry Costa and it was the perfect choice!! Isabella greeted us and worked with my daughter to meet all her wants for the perfect prom dress. After picking the first few, Isabella went and picked more and came back with The One (actually The Two 🤣). My daughter finally choose her prom dress and it would not have been without Isabellas insight on what the customer wanted. We are already planning our return visit for Homecoming !! I went in looking for a wedding dresses with a short turnover and Terry Costa staff Lucy was so helpful. She was able to provide information of dresses that were available to me due to my wedding being in less than 3 months and could be delivered within a couple of weeks. She assisted on trying out dresses and gave our great recommendation and was super nice and explained the whole ordering and sizing chart perfectly. She speaks Spanish and English so that’s a plus. I ended up ordering the same day and getting my dress a week later ( rarely happens). The store also has multiple fitting rooms and stages to try out dresses and no appointment needed! The front desk sales associate and Ms Vera were absolutely wonderful! I was well taken care of even though I walked in and did not have an appointment. I have the perfect day today thanks to Catalina! She is the best!! I can only have the company of my mother and Catalina gave us all the support we needed. The experience itself was good, but they ripped the tag off my new dress without asking. And some how the zipper pull is missing off the dress despite it being there when I tried it on and I was the only one to handle the dress except for the lady who put it in the bag at checkout. Now, if I changed my mind I couldnt sell my dress as new because they removed the tags without permission! And I have to buy a new zipper pull despite it being there when I handed it to the cashier.

I was assisted by Isabella, and couldn’t have had a better bridal consultant. Isabella was kind, patient, very professional throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to make my wedding gown/veil dream become a reality. I’m in love with my gown and veil! I appreciate that a 15% discount is applied on additional items such as accessories or other dresses with my purchase. I only wish they offered alterations, but instead I was given a list of recommended places for alterations which was helpful. We went to Terry Costa to look for my daughter a wedding dress when all of the other boutiques and high dollar places we tried failed at having a dress my daughter loved. It was a very last minute decision, as we always thought of Terry Costa as more of a place to get high school formal dresses (and we’ve gotten many here!). We didn’t have an appointment but they got us right in and assigned us to Vera, the best wedding dress consultant ever! My daughter told her what she wanted, and Vera delivered. We got to pick out dresses for her to try on as well as Vera bringing out others she thought she would like. Some of the boutiques just bring out what they think you should try on, and this is very hit or miss. Vera was able to help my daughter find that one special dress, along with a beautiful veil to go with it. Going to Terry Costa and getting Vera as our consultant was our best move so far in the wedding preparation category!

What an amazing place! I went there just done with the whole process and that’s when I met Joey Lanza! I had gone that day after searching for literally months and was just sick of the search. Joey just started bringing gowns to me that he thought would compliment my figure. I had a little more than most!😂 I am the mother of the bride and I did not want to look old fashioned but it had to be sophisticated. He found me the perfect dress! We went in to shop for my only childs prom dress. We picked up about 20 dresses and Emily helped us, zipping my daughter up or placing clips in parts that maybe needed to be tailored. She found a dress style that she liked but nothing was the one. Emily said knew of a similar dress with straps in yellow (my daughter never wears yellow). She tried it on to be kind, I think, but she came out with a huge smile telling me it was THEE ONE and I had to agree. It even fit her perfectly. Emily is a prom fairy godmother!!! We got beautiful earrings to match. I am so happy for my baby finding her dress!

Vera is God’s gift to brides. I cannot sing her praises enough! She was kind, helpful, knowledgeable, funny, and I could tell she genuinely cared about me and my dress. I went in on a whim and am so glad that I did! I wish there were six stars available on this review! My mom and I just finished purchasing her mother of the bride dress at Terry Costa and we had the absolute best experience. I went here a long time ago probably about 10 years ago to purchase a prom dress and we decided to come back today when we were looking for mother of the bride gowns. Boy are we glad we did! The service that we had was impeccable. Joey, Gail, and Silver were so kind to us and treated us like royalty. We ended up finding the best dress for my mom and she’s going to look like a queen! We are so thankful for the sweet staff at Terri Costa, and we will definitely be encouraging our friends and family to come here for all of their formal occasion wear.

Exceptional experience at Terry Costa as a result of two fabulous associates - Kristyn and Emily. Kristyn was able to get us squared away in a private room which during these times was critical for me. Emily was amazing with the selection of dresses she helped my daughter try on. Very thoughtful and very conscientious. We so appreciated her working hard to keep us safe by sanitizing between customers (something offered and assured us). Emily made the experience tremendously enjoyable and much less stressful. As a result, we walked out with the perfect dress for my daughter! Thank again so very much!

Silver did an amazing job helping us find the perfect dress. He spent a ton of time to find a dress that would perfectly match our wants and personality. The entire store had an amazing selection for all sizes and everyone was very helpful and nice throughout the whole process. The line can be long but it’s worth the wait.
