One of my absolute favorite boutiques! Not only is there a great collection of unique finds but the staff provides great service with personal attention. Justin and Rene have a great eye for styling and make the shopping experience so much fun!! I drive an hour just to visit this store, love it!!
We entered the store & immediately was greeted by a young gentlemen who was very nice & made us feel very welcome. My complaint is on the owner I’m assuming. He was very rude to the first gentlemen who greeted us about the way he explained the change in the store. There’s a time & place to speak to someone if he indeed said the wrong things to us. He didn’t have to angrily tell him from across the store in front of customers. This was not only unprofessional but I’m sure very embarrassing to the young gentlemen who was only trying to be friendly & welcome us into the store. The owner made us feel very uncomfortable with the way he talked to his fellow employee & we left the store. I will not be back & I definitely will not be recommending anyone to attend this store.
Watched owner/manager scold an employee for not explaining something to his liking. Employee was nothing but nice and welcoming. Owner/manager made it so awkward. Not the way to treat employees. Embarrassing for them and awkward for customers. Probably won’t be back
They will up charge items to 200% and not provide a receipt. Will refuse refund though there aren’t any signs that sales are final and the online store states otherwise.
Shopping at Bishop Street Market is always a wonderful experience. It is my go-to place for unique and creative items. The owners have managed to find merchandise that I cant find anywhere else. The staff is always very helpful too. I definitely recommend shopping here. Its fun!
Bishop Street Market was a nice little shop to walk around and look through during a Wine Walk I went to last week there. There were many unique finds within the store and the staff was very welcoming.
A very “helpful” sales clerk put a necklace around my neck. She had bad breath. It was unexpected and weird. I felt trapped while she told me all the attributes of the necklace I had no interest in buying. Touching people without their consent, does not make one good at sales. I could not exit fast enough.
I had an excellent experience speaking with Antonia and Patrick in the store. Great selection of greeting cards.
I went into this store on a hot miserable day. The help staff was so sweet and knowledgeable! I looked at their clothes and even though I didnt find much in my style...if I had I would have bought it in every color because she tried so hard showing me everything. I did however, find many pieces of jewelry that I could not live without!!! Do yourself a favor...shop this store and support the Bishop Arts District!!
I would give it zero stars if I could. First of all, the staff is VERY rude. I went in there and the lady with the short curly hair was right on my tail. She brought me back to the clothes and explained everything about one article of clothing that I wasnt interested in, and I simply told her it wasnt my style. She then makes a crucial remark saying, Well, Im looking at what youre wearing and your in an oversized shirt and shorts. Let me me inform you that it was 100 degrees outside! I told her what my style was and she showed me a dress that was $83, and I told her nicely that I cant spend that much on a dress, and then she showed me a shirt and said, this shirt is $32 which is more in your price range. She didnt even know my price range. Also, my friend was in there with me and was smelling the lotion. There was this one she was interested in and IT WAS OPENED AND IN THE FRONT OF THE INVENTORY OF IT, so she tried it to see if it was an oily lotion, and it was. The man in there went up to her and said, Since youre not going to buy anything, why dont you start with that lotion that you have on your hands because it wasnt a try me. WHO IS GOING TO BUY LOTION WHEN THEY DONT KNOW THE TEXTURE OR SMELL IT WILL GIVE OFF ON YOUR HANDS?! EXPECIALLY AT THE PRICE THEY HAVE IT AT!! THE PUMP OF THE BOTTLE WAS UP!!! THEY ARE THE WORST PEOPLE WHO COULD EVER RUN A STORE!!! Im never one to write a review if something goes wrong, but this was an AWFUL experience.
Quaint and cozy. Cool stuffs. Awesome candles and scented oil diffusers. Love Nest products.
I love this store for its carefully curated selection of unique gifts, home decor, and cards. The staff is really helpful and friendly and will tell you about the goods you are purchasing.
Great place to shop, very good quality!
Nice place with interesting things for sell. Most items are over $20 but I understand why since it’s a independent business.
Really nice shops, many price points. This is a great place to visit when you are in Dallas.
Great shop for gifts for yourself and anyone else. Always pleasantly surprised
This is such a fun place to shop, drink and dine in Dallas!
The staff is really helpful and friendly
Such a great small business in a wonderful part of town.
Unique gifts and fantastic service.
Cute selection of funny adult cards.
Was yelled at by the owner for looking at similar products on Amazon while in the store. Owner ripped the item I was looking at out of my hands and put it back on shelf. Dont pull your phone out apparently.
What a fun place with fun people!
We were a bit put off by the oversolicitous staff.
Great smell!
Good
