I’ve been coming to this location for many many years, but they slowly started to be come more and more rude!! the workers have attitudes all the time. I went there not to long ago and mind you they do have a policy where they don’t allow people to use their bathrooms at all but I was shocked to have been turned away even being 8 months pregnant!!! Where I literally cant control it! I told them that I was pregnant & if I could use their bathroom just this once because I do understand policy but they basically turned me away and told me it was “ my problem” and that they couldn’t do anything and told me to go to another store down the street!!! i even spoke to one of the “ higher ups” and she didn’t care or seem to want to care! I understand their are policies but to turn away a pregnant women is absolutely ABSURD!!!!

My first visit to St. Vincent de Paul Thrift was in about 2017 and I was very impressed with it. I enjoyed shopping there and did so frequently. Sometime in about 2019 I was shocked to see the difference and could not find a shopping cart and the entire store was different. It went from being about a 8 on a scale of 1-10, to a 3 or even less.Needless to say my frequent shopping went downhill and I rarely shop there. I gave it a chance in May 2021 to see if there was any improvement but I did not notice any and have never been back. I do not know what happened.

Its very organized and spacious...the employees are very friendly!

They dont always have guys denin pants but they have a high selection of dress clothes. Everyone is always nice & the clientele is diverse. They have great selection of furniture sometimes so you really have to check it weekly to see whats new. I love when I get a Text message for discount days especially Saturdays.

The lady at the front “Maya” was very loud and rude for absolutely no reason. It’s not my fault she has to do community service. She rolled her eyes the entire time and was pointing at me just being aggressive. I’ve gone to this store for years and never had such a bad experience like this. Please retrain her on customer service skills because they are non-existent. Very animalistic.

St Vincent de Paul Thrift store has a variety of women men and children and boy clothing household items from lamps to lamp shades to cook where to Glass to home decor sheets bedding from Electronics and the price on this chair that I picture that I took a picture of they had it for $5.99 the quality of the chair is excellent so I had to give 5 stars to St Vincent de Paul Thrift Store

Good thrift for clothing—furniture selection is lacking, and most housewares are older or in poor condition. Prices are great! No fitting rooms, and mirrors are scarce.

This place SHOULD BRING BACK THE DRESSING ROOM !!!! When you go somewhere to buy clothes you at least want to try on the clothes and see how they look and fit on you. Exceptional finds. Items always at reasonable prices. Also daily specials. If you take your time you can find some fantastic treasures.

Avoid this location if you are making donations. Some of the rudest people in Dallas. I will NEVER support this organization again.

NW Highway referred a moving company for the furniture moving called Jackson Moving Company. I spoke to Jackson two days in a row. He failed to meet me at the time promised twice. He failed to meet the first time promised to arrive, and stated that he would come at another time and failed to meet that time also. He came 3.5 hours late from the time we discussed two days ago when he will arrive to move one item. If I had not told him I took off of work for this, he probably would have bailed on me. He said his truck only would go so many miles on the road. He literally only did 30 to 40 miles on the highway, sometimes 20 miles, but he left before me, I saw him on the road and his truck was riding just fine, IN TRAFFIC! He gave two different prices for moving and even told me that he will take some money off if I move it myself. Very unprofessional!

HUGE thrift store located in West Dallas by Bauchman Lake on Northwest Highway, and stocked with loads of home appliances and decorations. They also have a large inventory of clothing and shoes for all ages, although the quality isnt that great... Even for a thrift store. While shopping, I was unable to find anyone to help me and when I did they did not, or would not, speak English. When I did find a lamp I liked, it wasnt priced and I was told if it wasnt priced, they wouldnt sell it. So, my opinion, check it out if thrift stores are your thing, but dont make a special trip because theres many more with better stock and much better service.

Very large, clean store and plenty of things to look at and choose from.We prefer to recycle items that are previously used and dont need lots of fixing. We save money this way and help organizations that support the needy and less fortunate.

They control social distancing by letting you shop for 45 min. And then they have you check out. They have a good variety of clothes.

Its wayyyyy overpriced for the items that willing people donate.but I will say coustermer service was outstanding 100%a pair of pants donated n selling for $20 come on now. I know how business works it cost you to open the store the overhead, employees etc..... but Id rather go to Gods will or ThriftGiant.. employees were super

This business is supposed to be a charity business to help the poor but the prices on the merchandise is so much that poor people cant afford to shop there might as well go to Walmart and get it brand new

There was alot of nice clothes in this thrift store, but the people who work there are not so nice. There was times where I just wanted to drop the items that I wanted to buy, and just leave. Because of how uncomfortable these cashiers would make me feel while I was browsing. Theres alot of petty crime around this area. They either need to hire a theft prevention person who was training, or they need to teach these employees on how to tell between someone who is just taking their time shopping and looking around, and someone who is actually shoplifting. Because the way these girls follow you all over the store and stare, as if you are doing something wrong is beyond ridiculous and embarrassing. I havent been back to this thrift shop and not planning to.

Your new manager Kendra Jimenez told me she would not let me buy my items (they all had tags) because she suspected employee theft. That does not make sense but if true, this is a very serious concern that your employees and manager are stealing charity items that were donated by good hearted Catholics. Im sure your customers would be horrified to know that Kendra called the police on a family with 2 small children and had them escorted out because she would not sell them their items. Does this make sense to you? Does this sound like a reasonable manager? This is discrimination. I would like an investigation launched against Kendra Jimenez for theft and if no action is taken I will be contacting the Plano Police Department as well as a lawyer. Thank you for your time. Northwest store in Dallas, It is worrying that in the furniture area, it is very controlled by two buyers who sell things on the internet, they do not give an opportunity to another person who really need something for their house, there is no control, there is no limit per person to buy amounts of furniture,I tried to talk one day with a man who works there taking out the product in that area but they dont give you the chance to speak, he answers ugly, and one named Abel is very aggressive, he was taking out a piece of furniture and ran to want to take the price because if you do not do these quickly, the two buyers will leave you with nothing, but Mr. Abel treated me badly and yelled at me in front of the other buyers, Mr. Abel was very aggressive and I told him not to be aggressive and continued arguing On that same day they were taking out a drawer and a lady approached and also yelled at her to aggressively remove herself, the people who work there know what is happening, but there are no changes :(

Two stars is being generous because they did have a decent amount of things that I wanted to buy, and Im picky so thats says something.So here I was, 30-40 minutes into shopping and my cart was loaded up with clothes, luggage bag, odds and ends, and I was standing in line. In fact, I was next in line to check out Then,s all the workers start freaking out and acting like there was an active shooter situation or some kind of emergency and they made everyone leave THAT second. No reasoning, no explanation, Nothing.Like, if it was an active shooter I would understand but it was seemingly nothing. Possibly someone with covid had come in there but even then, Ive already been exposed by simply being here so dont give me the covid then kick me out before I can buy anything, especially when Im next in line. Lol wth

The staff is friendly and the store is clean. However, I am frustrated with the way resellers are able to hover around and BUY UP VIRTUALLY ALL THE FURNITURE! They seem to know exactly when the truck comes in and aggressively get to the door as furniture is being put out and get the best. It is sickening. No matter when I go, J... Is there and I heard him say, I know how to play and I play to win. That is fine but, I do think resellers should have a limit on furniture purchases. The other day just frustrated me, furniture is coming out, he starts speaking Spanish to the unloaders and walking with them and grabs the ticket. I go back yesterday abd there he is again sitting on the best furniture. He knew when the truck rolled in and how many pieces. I complained and was told by two female associates that it is fair because he comes every day and just sits and waits on the truck. Is the furniture being donated so a monopoly of resellers can buy up All the furniture. Dont get me wrong, being a reseller or dealer is fantastic but this situation is a monopoly.

Clothing was organized by size and the store had a lot to choose from.

They had a LARGE selection of items for sale. Every thing that I saw were good quality items. I was there for theCustomer Appreciation Sale, where everything was 40% off. I came out with top-shelf quality clothes, for little of nothing on a dollar. TRULY BEAUTIFUL

They have rearranged the store. It has a much better flow to it and it looks clean.

The price structure could be a lot better. All clothing basically starts at $3.99 no matter what it is including tank tops and t-shirts. Only worth it to shop on days when they offer 40% off the store. You will need to sign up for text alerts as these are the best days to shop their hands down. They dont really have ANY baskets left. I suggested since people are rolling away with their baskets they invest in preventing baskets from leaving the store.My car was broken into in broad daylight at this location Ive never been back and will never go back after 10 years of shopping here.

They have high quality items for amazing prices and I believe in their cause. I love to donate my furniture to them!The only downside from my experience is that they seem to hire very young and inexperienced people who work there who have not been trained to learn friendly customer service skills, and I had a difficult time finding anyone who cared enough to try to be helpful in answering any of my questions. I rate the customer service as Fair because it does need some improvement.Otherwise, as long as u dont need their assistance, they do have good products at good prices.

I was able to find MANY pants for my toddler. Other thrift stores dont seem to have a good collection in his size, but this store did. They were also reasonably priced. They also have some nice shoes. The clothing was well organized. They have an extensive jewelry collection as well. You should mos def check this place out!

I love thrift stores. They serve a valuable purpose in every community, or at least they should. Plus, even if you dont need to shop at thrift stores, why not for certain items?I needed to replace a phone/tablet USB cord and paid $1 instead of $10 (?) full retail.

Its well organized. Color coded and everything. You really have to browse though to find good things. Staff is pretty nice.

Clean and a wonderful treasure trove. I will go again and again. If you love antiques or just old things... You will love this place. I didnt get to browse the clothes area i was stuck digging through the home goods area. Found some wonderful antiques.

Great time today, the $6.00 per bag was great found some really nice clothes in the unsorted bins in the parking lot, then went inside got some clothes for work at 40% off. God is good this was only my second time in this thrift store but it wont be my last

Found 2 things I really wanted. One was a really nice desk for my home office. I got that and a set of little drawers full of misc. Hardware. On that day everything was 40% off. My bill was under $30.

Ive been going here on a pretty regular basis, their pricing is all out of whack.. and crazy. Occasionally you will find Hermes, Gucci and other cool items for 1.99.. while Lucky Jeans are 24.99 ok you get it.....They were better off when all the items were 4.19 I used to spend 100s of dollars here now not so much. The gimmicks of 50% off and 40% off are just that( the usual - mark it up double then give 1/2 off) youd think all the time and energy it costs to move and remark items ... youd stick to the basics. Staff is friendly.. and you can find good deals here..

I go in here from time to time looking for toys and clothing. They seem to be a really great place for this, and their prices are very reasonable. Just to add icing to the cake, their cashiers are always super friendly.

This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Dallas. For those who feel its overpriced, they have not learned to work the sales days. St. Vincent has set days they discount merchandise for deeper discounts. Ask one of the sales associates for those days. Ive bought Nine West black boots, that needed a little polish, priced at $14.99 for 50% off, because I came in on a sales day. One extra thing I like is they have a section for plus size clothes and religious merchandise, rosaries, crosses, etc.

Went in Looking for a waffle maker. Found a great one at a good price. Most of the inventory is clothing, but they do have furniture, toys and a lot of Christmas decor.

Today was a shocking experience when I heard profanity, very strong sexual statements and drug related rapping in the loud speakers after a remark was made they just skipped the song not sure why the staff thought it was funny.... being a Christian store and children being in the store no one attempted to turn it off but after 10 min of playing.

SVDP is one of my favorite thrift stores. I usually run through there on my lunch hour and find just what I need - and most times its 40% off. I have a shortage of tops, but they always have something that catches my eye...and my wallet.

Works n their were not very nice! Kids were running all over the place! Their were hardly any plus size clothes or coats for winter ! But we were blessed 2 find some nice things thank u!

Passing by on the street you can mistake it for a warehouse if youre not paying attention. Once inside its massive! youre greeted with racks and shelves full of things. Furniture is in the back mostly I found an IKEA coffee table beautiful in condition for $5.00. I found a large crock pot brand new condition in box for $10.00. Clothing wise, if you have the patience to dig and try on clothing do it, you wont regret it one bit. I will say sizing on labels isnt accurate so double check and try on. ALL and ALL its a big win for me Compareable finds at genesis benefit store, Plus Thrift Giant is across the street sometime is worth the look around.

This thrift store is HUGE. Pretty good prices. Overall nice variety of items. Each day of the week is a different discount (see pic)

Found a London Fog coat for just under 6 dollars! The deals are insane, the sweaters are fun and funky, and the employees are really nice. It was a majority Spanish speaking store but they dont treat you any different if you dont speak it. Only issue is that I didnt see many dresses on display, but I’m assuming that it was because it was winter. Will be coming back to find more fun pieces!

The parking for this place was insane. Semi trucks covered the parking lot. Almost wrecked trying to get in and out of parking lot. Staff was friendly. Store was okay.
